Hello to you all

I am pleased to announce that Brooke Olivia was born at 8pm on the 27th august weighing 8lbs 3oz

I was out of hospital by 11pm

No stitches just 2 grazes although the birth was not a happy one

I will post the full story tomorrow and post a pic but have to say that at 4pm i had just got onto mumsnet on the funky hospital bedside tele/phone/internet thing and was about to catch up when my waters went so never managed to lol thought that deserved a mention!

Anyway she is absolutly gorgeous although greedy! As of now at 6 hours old she has taken 3 bottles at 30ml a time (fatty)

I'm feeling pretty good but am desperate for my bath and bed! So will catch up properly later on

Oooh, didn't realise you had a list! I love lists! Currently have a long list of DIY jobs that I am ignoring in order to bugger about on here . I have added myself to the end of the list - lovely to see all the names of the new arrivals btw . Have been trying to sell Saoirse as a poss girl's name to dh. He says he cannot have a child whose name he can barely pronounce, let alone spell.

Havent done birth story yet but there is a rough copy on a thread i started in childbirth on tuesday. Think its called Waving goodbye to my homebirth going to be induced tomorrow, if anyone wants a nosey

The pic doesnt do her justice, shes beautiful and snuggly and chubby and woke up every half hour last night to check she still had a voice box

Big huge CONGRATS to ILTS and brooke how gorgeous is she??? I crave pics of lovely babies as I get more swollen, indigested/insane and wonder what the hell has happened to me?

I accosted a woman in Tezzys the other day for a look at her baby - was 9 weeks early and only 5 weeks old - she said "you've got one of these in there" and - I nearly pissed myself - felt so excited (helped that little George was wearing a gorg blue and green stripey sleep suit that was too big cos he's teeny weeny) - have been on cloud nine ever since.

have changed my mind - think I have a pink one on the way - have to decide on names again as we keep changing our minds grrrr

Easyrider you've totally f@cked with our pregnant heads lady - do you not remember how your brain was like mush and even working out how to start the car in the morning was a mammoth task - have pity on us!!!

Cricri Love the dreams story - you sound like me - keep getting this sinking feeling that no matter how hard I plan - is all going to go to shit at the last minute ha ha - okay not one tell me that is the case - i want to be niaive and think i can actually decide how is going to be...

ronstar Good news that miniron is turned - minipops keeps on turning so i reckon is back on the diagonal again - seeing MW next tuesday - she is sure to know bugger all and scare me silly so am just going to ignore her and hope for the best...

WMMC Hi I'm still too scared to add me to the bottom, I've made it to 7wks today but am absolutely scared shitless and can't seem to shake myself out of the I'm going to mc again state that I'm in. The only thing keeping me half sane is the thought of the beans wee heart beating last week and the fact DH is getting arsy with me and telling me to snap out of it - he's the glass half full part of the partnership.

Congratulations ILTS she is just perfect.

I'm feeling very nervous this morning, have my early scan booked at lunchtime today and emotions are swinging back and forward at the moment. I guess I am just scared what we could find out. It will be the same room where we found out about our mmc which is playing on my mind as well.

This part is torture, too scared to let yourself get excited and also trying not to be negative.

Sorry for blowing off steam hopefully later on I will be a bit more relaxed.
