good news on the scan and hb jackstini. It does get a bit easier for a while now, especially when you start to feel regular movements...then the knicker checking starts again from about 38 weeks, but for all the right reasons

hey ellie, hope all is well with you

Hello to everyone else - hope you are all well

iliketosleep · 14/07/2008 16:12

Is anyone else checking this thread 100,000,000,000 times a day waiting for jules' birth announcment??

dan39 · 14/07/2008 16:18

Its so lovely to hear all you large ladies complain - great sign that it can work!! I am feeling uncomfy today and can't work out if its a bad thing or a good thing - can't get my trousers comfy on my belly and feel fat 9but in a good way) so feel positive, then get scared and think I am just imagining it and its gone again..I have 9 days to go before scan but in that time do have the small distraction of moving house this fri...hopefully this will keep me sane, by helping me embrace another form of insanity for a day or two. We are very deliberately not designating a room as a 'baby room' as it seems too muchlike tempting fate..?

iliketosleep · 14/07/2008 18:52

I'm sooooo uncomfy not so much because of the size of my whale sized gut but because she doesnt have alot of space to move now so seems to position her back as far out as possible so is stretching me to a whole new level. My belly feels rock hard and tight due to her positioning and i cant bend over as shes in the way

Also, shes always got the hiccups

She had better not be this awkward once shes born

kate2179 · 14/07/2008 21:12

ilts I am! And I don't even belong here! Glad I'm not the only one though!

(Am sorry to say that in the nicest possible way I don't have much sympathy for your discomfort - if you know what I mean...)

Has anyone heard from sweetkitty?

iliketosleep · 14/07/2008 21:18

oooooooooh could she be birthing that baby you think?? I haven't checked today!!!

God we're like a pair of stalkers lol

(p.s. I know exactly what you mean i was the same a few months ago, things can only get better!!) xx

iliketosleep · 14/07/2008 21:25

KashaSarrasin · 14/07/2008 23:01

CONGRATULATIONS Jules!!!!!

ronshar · 14/07/2008 23:09

Still no action fror sweetkitty. She is getting very close to being dragged into hospital for induction. She is not a happy kitty. I have been over with both my DD's so I know exactly how bad it gets waiting every day!!

Hello Kate how are you my love? Please try to make it back here before I have to go.. You have until 6th October officially but in reality it will be more like the 20th!
No pressure mind

haven't had a moment to visit for some time, but just popped in to see how Jules was doing and BIGGEST CONGRATS JULES!! Well done - it has been a real journey for you but you got there in the end!

Hello to all the old and new faces too! On the home stretch now! (30 weeks!)

MollieMooma · 15/07/2008 15:18

Hi girls, well after being messed about for a week I've finally get an early scan booked for next Tuesday, I will be 6wks and 6 days so I'm hoping I should be able to see a heartbeat (hopefully) I am absolutely bricking it, I will be such a state on the actual day, wonder if I can use Rescue Remedy?
Hope everybody else is OK?

elibumbum · 15/07/2008 17:26

Hi Mollie hope your scan goes well next Tuesday. Very familiar with the bricking it feeling!

Is your appointment in the morning or afternoon? My 7wk one was in the morning which helped - waiting all day doesn't help the nerves. My Nuchal next Monday is in the evening so will have a very nervous day to get through.

iliketosleep · 15/07/2008 18:42

aw jules shes lovely

Im so jealous of that head of dark hair!! \mine are always born with very short blonde hair even though me and dp both have dark brown to black hair
