Hi everyone! Thanks for making the new thread @HannahTheBanana!
I'm 8w+2 today and have noticed a drop in symptoms. Anyone else? Hoping it's just normal fluctuation, I've got a private scan booked on 4 July.

Hi, I’m 39 years old, first baby also due the 02 feb!! X

AiRoo · 24/06/2025 10:28

@WildFinch hi, I’m 8+3 and googled a drop of symptoms this morning!! So yes, I’m in the same boat. Going to book a private scan next week too. Hoping all is well still. The anxiety is real isn’t it!

WildFinch · 24/06/2025 10:32

@AiRoo I'm 39, 3rd pregnancy no children, due 2 Feb too!

I read some encouraging things around placenta taking over a bit more this week. Has a MMC last year so definitely feeling the anxiety. Hoping all is well for us!

AiRoo · 24/06/2025 10:40

@WildFinch sorry for your losses. This is my third pregnancy too and I have no biological children of my own, this is the furthest I’ve made it. Two previous losses at 6 weeks.
my wife carried our son who is 18 months and we’ve used the same donor for this baby.

fingers crossed all continues to go well, I read the same about the placenta!

Hey everyone! Just wondering if there is any due in feb fb groups as I just find it so much easier communicating during pregnancy on there! Thanks ☺️

Wednesdayonline · 25/06/2025 10:36

@WildFinch @AiRoo my symptoms really dropped off on Monday which was 8+4! Still tired but the nausea is so much less, and no sickness. Fingers crossed. I'm also having a private scan soon. At least it seems like something which happens to a lot of people!

This is reassuring. I still have the mild nausea and I'm quite tired but has been noticeably better this week. My sense of smell is wild too! Things I've never noticed before have suddenly started smelling really strong.
My 12 weeks scan date has come through, 21 July! I've booked a private scan on 4 July before we go away with my in-laws though for reassurance.

HannahTheBanana · 25/06/2025 12:55

I feel like I’m the opposite- the fatigue has been so much worse recently, I’m just over 8weeks… and I have been mega emotional. have a private dating scan this Friday… 🤞 Does anyone have a pulling, stretching or weird feelings in lower abdomen?

OP posts:
Wednesdayonline · 25/06/2025 12:59

The fatigue has definitely been worse for me as well! But week 6 I was horribly nauseas every minute of every day, and week 7 I was being sick loads. So this week has been a definite reprieve - I can deal with the tiredness! Getting over 10 hours a night sleep at the moment 😂
No sensations in my abdomen for me though, not yet anyway! Had a lot of that week 5.

AiRoo · 25/06/2025 18:11

Hi ladies, hopefully this will give you some reassurance. I’ve just come back from a private scan as I was worried about my
lack of symptoms. Baby measuring 1 day ahead of what I thought, heartbeat strong and 2.1cm big! So I hope you all experience the same thing when you have your scans and symptoms do just fluctuate x

HannahTheBanana · 25/06/2025 18:30

@AiRoocongratulations! Great news xx

@AiRoo amazing news! Have your symptoms come back or not?

DCmum95 · 25/06/2025 18:38

Joining this thread please! I think I am about 5-6 weeks pregnant, have a 2 year old but 2 missed miscarriages since, terrified it will be another but staying hopeful. I have an NHS early reassurance scan on Monday x

AiRoo · 25/06/2025 19:11

@Wednesdayonline thank you.

hmm no not really. Nausea is nearly none existent. Boobs only sore at night. I’m still apprehensive but I deffo can’t afford £50 scans every other day! So we just pray and hope for the best!!

Hbw18 · 25/06/2025 19:57

Hey, I’m 7+4 with baby no 3. Didn’t have many symptoms until the last couple of weeks, now quite nauseous (only really if hungry or too full up!) and super tired. We had a private scan on Monday and saw the heartbeat, measuring bang on what I thought! It all feels a bit more real now. Though now I remember I basically spend most of pregnancy worrying until the next appointments! Booking appointment is in a couple of weeks so will be about 10 weeks.

WildFinch · 25/06/2025 20:03

Congratulations @AiRoo that's lovely news. Long wait until my scan next Friday. Nausea only really when I'm hungry, and I get hungry very quickly. Definitely not feeling 100% but it's not as bad as it was.

Wednesdayonline · 25/06/2025 20:51

Just had my reassurance scan as well, measuring 2 days ahead from the scan I had a few weeks ago :) 2.42cm so something has obviously still been growing despite symptoms lessening! Still very tired and have been dry heaving a few times today still. Might just get one next week as well, it just doesn't seem real with barely any symptoms! I've had really nice experiences with ultrasound direct. Didn't need a transvaginal one this time, they could see everything just using the stomach one.

AiRoo · 26/06/2025 05:26

@Wednesdayonline great news! Feels surreal doesn’t it when your symptoms are barely there, yet there they are on the screen.

congratulations!! 🙌🏼

Floralcat · 26/06/2025 07:23

i am 7+1 today and honestly have never known hunger like this before- im wondering if could be sign im having a boy or if thats just a myth! Can’t remember being so hungry with my dd- literally all that stops me feeling nauseous is eating beige carbs i can’t stomach the thought of veg 🙈🙈🙈
