Hello! Apologies if there is a July thread already (I couldn’t find one). Is there anyone else due in July who would like to chat during the journey?

Hi @Wishing4Snow I'm due 30th july but potentially could go into August, would love to share the journey! When are you due in July? Is this your 1st baby? :)

Hello @3rdbabytime! So pleased to have someone here who is due in July as well. My due date is 25th July but I am going to be induced a week or two early due to a medical condition I have.

This will be my second child and my second son. 🩵😊

@Wishing4Snow Congratulations!! That's so exciting! 💙

This will be baby #3, I have a 4 year old son and nearly 2 year old daughter. We don't know if this one is a boy or girl yet but hoping to find out during the 20 week scan.

How is your pregnancy going? I'm 15 weeks atm and I'm so fatigued this time round.

Can I join please? This is my first conceived via ivf. I’m due 31st July but think it will be earlier for various reasons. I’m currently lying on the sofa as I’ve either got a stinking cold or got that blocked nose pregnancy thing. Kind of hoping it’s a cold so it will go away at some point!😅

Wishing4Snow · 09/02/2025 12:58

Congratulations to you, too! 😊 How lovely to have three little ones. My DS is 7 and is so excited.

I have had hyperemesis gravidarum so it hasn’t been easy so far. However, this week feel better and I am managing to enjoy some foods again.

I’m sorry to hear you are so tired. I hope you have a lot support around you. ❤️

Welcome to the July gang, @MrsBP15 ! And congratulations! I thought I would need to go via the IVF route and miraculously got lucky so I have some understanding of the process. You must be overjoyed! I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling so poorly. I hope it passes quickly.

Thank you @Wishing4Snow sorry to hear about your HG, reading some of the stories about it and it sounds so difficult. Glad to hear that you're starting to enjoy some foods and hoping it gets easier for you. I've had some food aversions and nausea but nothing like HG.

Congratulations @MrsBP15 !! Sorry to hear you're unwell, hoping you feel well soon! I had a cold a week ago and it's difficult that you can't take anything for it except paracetamol. Get well soon x

Thank you, @3rdbabytime. I’ve had chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and it’s tasted heavenly! Small victories! 😂

Thank you @Wishing4Snow and @3rdbabytime ive stayed home from work today as I’m still feeling crap. I’m just going to stock up on vit c and drink plenty of fluids. Seeing the midwife on Wednesday for 16 week appointment, can anyone who’s had a baby before tell me what to expect? I don’t have a clue!

I have my midwife appointment on Wednesday, too. I think you get results from previous blood tests, blood pressure and a urine test? I have to admit I don’t remember this appointment with my 7 year-old as it was so long ago. 😅

Please share how you get on x

@Wishing4Snow thank you that’s good you have your appointment too. Are you 16 weeks? I still find it very hard to deal with the fact that there are so few touch points during pregnancy well compared to ivf at least. I find it crazy that there are 8 weeks between scans! I’m seeing the consultant in March though so hopefully things will become a bit clearer from there…

Yes, I’m 16 weeks as well. I have been struggling with the amount of time between scans, too. I went and booked a private gender scan last weekend (partly because I just wanted an excuse to see baby again) and found out I’m having a little boy. It was reassuring to see baby wiggling around. But now I don’t have another scan until 10th March. I am hoping it’ll be easier when we can feel our babies moving around.

I know I considered booking a private appointment but I haven’t so far, our scan isn’t until 13th March! How much did yours cost if you don’t mind me asking? How exciting that you know you’re having a boy 🤩

The scan cost £89 and was worth every penny. I brought my mum and my DS along and it was magical! So excited to be having another little boy.

So nice to find someone who is 16 weeks as well. 😊

Hi ladies, our little boy is due on the 11th July, but I'm booked in for a section on the 10th. 2nd baby, our big girl is 2 next month 😊 anyone else with similar due date? X

3rdbabytime · 10/02/2025 17:03

@MrsBP15 I hope you're feeling better. I've also taken today off as the nausea has been awful and just needed a rest from teaching.

@Wishing4Snow I'll be 16 weeks on Wednesday :)

Hi @MyPinkFish congratulations!! 💙My girl will be 2 in April :)

I don't have a 16 week midwife appointment so might double check if needed, though I have already had consultant appointments so that may be why. I'll be having a cervical length scan (I was fully dilated during my emergency csection with my first so it's a precautionary check and had a vbac with my 2nd). My 20 week scan is on 12th March, it's exciting we will be having scans so close!!

Gosh £89 is good would be £150 for us to get one. Sounds like you had a lovely experience though which is great! That’s great that your 16 weeks on Wednesday @3rdbabytime i’m feeling a little better thank you but will probably stay home tomorrow again. I’m sorry you’re feeling nauseous has it been bad the whole time? I’ve gotten off lightly with that so far!

I used to get strong nausea in the afternoon in the early weeks and had quite strong food aversions but now the nausea is anytime. Also get lightheaded at times but that's more due to my low iron and still breastfeeding my little one. I'm hoping she weans off naturally by the 5 month mark when the milk is supposed to change! It worked with my first so hoping it works with her too...

3rdbabytime · 12/02/2025 11:47

How is everyone doing today? I think I'm starting to feel flutters, either it's baby or gas! It's really hard to tell but definitely getting me excited!

MrsBP15 · 12/02/2025 13:07

I’m good apart from still being bunged up when will it end?! I had my midwife appointment this morning and we heard the baby’s heartbeat 💓 so exciting and I kind of wasn’t expecting it. Midwife took blood pressure twice and it was a little high but she wasn’t super worried. They are going to call me later to let me know what they want me to do so they are following it up. So hard to relax in those situations which doesn’t help. Totally shattered as well because I’ve been awake since 3:30! Anyone else having disrupted sleep?

Tepidbath · 12/02/2025 17:59

Can I join you? I’m due in August but I’m having twins so they will most likely be born in July. I’m 14+3, I have a scan booked in for 16 weeks to find out the sexes and then we will be announcing to family. It’s took a while for me to wrap my head around having twins, we already have twin boys so had an early scan as we had a higher likelihood of having twins again, I wasn’t expecting it though. Our boys will be 21 months when the twins are born, so we will have 4 under 2🤯

3rdbabytime · 13/02/2025 11:37

@MrsBP15 How are you feeling now? That's so lovely you got to hear baby's heartbeat, it's such a precious part of this journey. Sorry to hear about your blood pressure, did the midwife call back? My sleep is naturally disturbed as I cosleep with my little ones so I can't help but wake up to check on them every few hours even though they're right next to me.

@Tepidbath omg huge congratulations! How are you feeling? Having 4 under 2 will be hard but I'm sure it will be really exciting too. I hope you have support x

@Wishing4Snow how did your midwife appointment go? :)
