Hi all! Didn’t see an August thread yet so here we go.

I got my BFP today and my EDD is 2nd of August next year.

I’m 37 and this is my second baby, I have a son who’ll be 2 next month.

When should you be contacted for your booking appointment? I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and submitted a midwife referral two weeks ago but conscious things could be delayed due to xmas!

I don't want to miss out on bloods etc if they need to be done at a certain time. Does anyone know how long the booking appointment is usually for?

I’m no expert so not 100% sure but wonder if it’s worth chasing them up?
I filled in a referral on Sat 21st and by Mon 23rd has been given an appointment, for Wed 8th Jan. good luck, hope you get yours sorted soon!!!

Their ears must have been burning as I just had it via phone call and going in on Tuesday for bloods etc.

Makes it feel far more real doesn't it! I can't believe this is happening eeek 🥳

Bad news for me - baby must have died right after the last scan. Got surgery booked for Monday. That was our last try due to my recent diagnosis of chromosomal abnormalities, 4th loss. I'm completely heartbroken 💔

Hi ladies, had my scan at epau this morning due to recurrent previous losses, by my lmp and ovulation I’m 6 weeks but they dated me 5+5, there was a heartbeat which surprised me seeing it that early. I got my bfp on 16th December, is it normal to still measure 2 days behind even after tracking ovulation? When I got my bfp I was 9dpo. Also not experiencing many symptoms still either! I was still on 2-3 when I last did a clearblue test and I should have been on 3+, however they did say at epu this morning these aren’t reliable…

Just wanted to say I've been struggling a lot with morning sickness but have found the travel bands for motion sickness have worked wonders! Just wanted to share in case it was useful to anyone. They haven't helped me with travel sickness in the past so I was dubious, but it's been 2/3 days now and I've been able to function again!

I have ordered some of these travel bands after using three different lines of medication for the morning sickness to which none have worked! I'm on the verge of throwing up today having been sick twice yesterday. I really am at my wits end with it all and don't know what else to do. Do you find the bands eradicated the nausea too?

I'm going to join in, if that's ok. Currently 6+4 due 27th aug. First pregnancy. I've been struggling with nausea for about 5days now I have the travel bands and keep taking them off so I feel the benefit when I need it. They do help to an extent. I had some period type cramps that woke me up the other night but no bleeding so hoping it was my body adjusting.
