I have just found out I am expecting baby number 2 and my due date is 1st May.

Has anyone else found out they are expecting and looking for some company?

That's so bizarre! I have tried my phone, web browser on my phone, web browser on my work laptop (the only PC I have access to, I hope my social media use doesn't flag with IT 🫣) and it's still not working.

Ah well, I'm happy to stay on Mumsnet.

😂 Totally random choice but I thought it would rouse the least amount of interest and easily be glossed over by Facebook friends - although maybe not on second thoughts! A lot of my friends would know what May 2025 means though as they were in their own due date month chats on here. But I’m not sure anyone else would be able to work out what it means.

@BrodieKD how far along are you? I’m feeling ok at the minute physically but mentally I’m completely in my head with it all! I had really obvious symptoms early on last time but I’m still having positive tests so trying to convince myself it’s all fine and I’m just mega early on but my head is sideways 😬😂

@CTMMMDI93 6 weeks today! It totally takes over your head doesn't it? I feel like I haven't been able to concentrate on anything at work. I've got an early scan two weeks today...it's going be a very long two week wait!

@BrodieKD ah you’re 2 weeks ahead of me! I’m 4 weeks and it feels like I just found out too early 😅 is this your first?

it really does take over everything, I’m useless at work too at the mo and probably will be for the next few months!
I’m considering an early scan too, I had them with my son but I was a bit obsessed and had them at 6, 8 and 10 weeks, so trying to talk myself into just the 1 this time 🫣

@CTMMMDI93 haha I've known since 8dpo so I feel like I've known for ages already! ! I have a little girl who will be 3 in November. What age is your son?
I had one at 8 weeks last time which seemed to break up the long wait to the 12 week scan.
I'm a lot heavier than my last pregnancy which is worrying me!

Hi, I would love to join. Found I was pregnant on Monday. This will be my third. So excited but nervous. Hope will be cope with 3 but I think that's normal feeling like that. Due 11th May x

@BrodieKD Oh my gosh! It’s such a long wait isn’t it. 8 weeks seems like a good time I just don’t know if I can hang on that long, maybe 7.. 😅
my son is going to be 3 in March so not too far behind your daughter! I think it’ll be a nice age gap ☺️
