I have just found out I am expecting baby number 2 and my due date is 1st May.

Has anyone else found out they are expecting and looking for some company?

❤️❤️

Sickness started this morning, felt like I was gonna throw up! Who knows how I’m going to get through school run tomorrow!
I’m based in West Yorkshire!

GraySweatpants · 03/09/2024 12:52

Seems like we’re all spread out across the country! I’m in East Sussex.

Does anyone hate this current stage of being in a limbo?

Can’t really get excited because technically it’s not a viable pregnancy yet.
Too early for a private scan (we don’t plan to anyway cuz COL and all).
Too early to contact midwives.
Can’t really tell anyone other than your DP.

Like should I celebrate? Should I be hopeful? Shouldn’t I be too hopeful? 😅

Niftyowl · 03/09/2024 13:02

@GraySweatpants i hate this bit, we do actually tell our parents just because I’ve been through a miscarriage before and if it happens again I need childcare for appointments!
I have done my self assessment for midwives though just so it was done and out the way!
I hope the next 7 weeks passes fast so I can start getting organised ready for baby to arrive!

My baby due December 31

ljb23 · 03/09/2024 13:11

Hello!
Can I join? I'm 5 weeks 3 days today. Does anyone else feel that the days are dragging or is it just me?!

This is exactly how I feel! I get all excited, then worried, still over analysing every symptom, want to shout it from the rooftops haha. Its only been 24 hours since I got a positive so not sure how I'll cope for the next few weeks

We're booking a viability scan for 7 weeks, there's an independent clinic near us run by one lady who offers them for only £30 which I thought was very reasonable compared to some of the chains.

These next few weeks are going to go so slow.

I'm based in Staffordshire

100% 😬 days are dragging and I really want to be more excited but I’m just still filled with fear and the days are sooo long! I’m only 3 weeks 5 days which feels crazy early to even know.. the next 8 weeks are going to be so slow 😩

@ljb23 @Michah89 @OneHeartyCat welcome to the group ladies! Congratulations! How are you all feeling? X

Hi everyone!

I've posted in the other May babies thread but came across this one so thought I'd join in here too 🙂

Estimated due date is 3rd May and I'll be a first time mum (fingers crossed it all works out ok after 2 previous mc). I'm booked in for an early scan next week as my EPU have been really attentive so far where I'm based in Lancashire.

Will this be anyone else's first baby?

Hope everyone's doing ok so far❤

Thank you! You too! I'm ok, sore boobs and extremely tired and hungry. Otherwise I'm good! My second pregnancy, my last one ended in mmc. I'm anxious but feeling more positive this time! How are you feeling?

Hi
Ladies
Congratulations to all who got their BFP
I've posted in the other may 25 babies thread but thought I would join here to.

From the natural cycles app I'm 4 weeks today I got my bfp on 31st August.

I've a scan today as I've pain in my left ovary and it can be severe to the point it wakes me up.
I have pcos ,endometriosis, recurrent hemorrhagic cysts and bilateral dermoid cysts I've had multiple surgeries in the past .
I'm already under a consultant and fertility clinic.

lockdownbabyx · 04/09/2024 10:10

Hey ladies! Due may 1st (I think). This will be my third baby, I already have an almost 3 year old and an 18 month old. It's going to be chaos 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Before my first I had 4 miscarriages and then 2 healthy pregnancies after. For some reason though I'm super anxious this time round, been testing obsessively. My second I was cool as a cucumber so I'm not sure why I'm so affected this time.

Not many symptoms so far other than tender boobs, hopefully get my first appointment date back soon x

Herewegoagain8 · 04/09/2024 10:35

Is anyone waiting a bit before sorting a booking in appointment or have we all already booked in? I’m 6 weeks tomorrow but not contacted anyone yet.

bardosya · 04/09/2024 10:37

Cheeseballer · 25/08/2024 12:46

Just worked it out and I would be due 7th May!

I had my May baby this year on 7th, he was due on 15th and he's already been on two holidays abroad. This time last year I wondered if we'll ever make it considering a difficult 2nd pregnancy/1st child. Sending you all positive vibes xx

I just decided to self refer straight away and I'm booked in for the 23rd September when I should be 8 weeks - I've seen before that some ladies wait ages to hear back and some don't even getting their booking appt until 12 weeks!

fingerscrossedmumma · 04/09/2024 13:13

I just found out I'm just over 4 weeks along! Should be due 9th May! Super terrified as I've had a few losses but I feel positive about this one for some reason! Will probably take a test again in a week just to make sure!

Dullblue1234 · 04/09/2024 13:50

I've done my online referral now, so hoping to get appointments through soon! ✨️

Beckatha · 04/09/2024 14:03

Yeah I called my GP straight away and they said the midwife sees you from 7 weeks for your first appointment so we've got ours in 2 weeks :)
Can't come round quick enough haha, I'm excited for any sort of appointment!

Also totally get the limbo feeling too. In the meantime I've fallen down a hole of watching first trimester pregnancy vlogs on youtube and started a DIY pregnancy journal

Ah I believe this is a May babies thread :) There's probably a December one somewhere tho

TheBeesKnee · 04/09/2024 15:04

My teeth are SO sensitive out of nowhere omg, I don't think I had this last time.
