On My Way Reaction GIF by OceanX

My husband sent me this gif earlier when I said I was walking up the road and said that’s what I look like when I walk now… so using it to mark my place here!

WinsandSam · 17/07/2024 21:39

Easter Blush hi 👋

mrsbgb · 17/07/2024 21:44

@Lillers my mother told me I’ve started waddling, our scan on Monday confirmed baby’s head is quite low already so not such a surprise! Thanks for the new thread @SpicyMoth

I feel like I waddle and my baby is breach 😫😭

Emmaev · 17/07/2024 21:51

Omg yes the waddling, it definitely gets worse throughout the day. Plus it doesn’t help trying to keep up with my oh walking when he’s sprinting 20 paces in front 🥲

cd24x · 17/07/2024 22:10

Thanks @SpicyMoth.

I had a team strategy day today, where a lot of my Manchester colleagues came down and it's the first time they've seen me in months. A lot of "how are you feeling?" questions.

I've not started waddling yet but I was trying to give a presentation at work today and just talking was making me breathless, I had to keep pausing to let my lungs catch up 😬

Luluem · 17/07/2024 22:11

I’m definitely waddling 🤦🏻‍♀️ counting down the days of the commute whilst heavily pregnant too!

Yes!!! The breathlessness!! I am training a new lady at work and so much talking I'm gasping for breath! 🤣😭

Walking Alone GIF by BBC America

Checking in… also a member of #TeamPGP and being in bed is now something I don’t really look forward to rather than something I do!

Decaffe · 17/07/2024 22:14

Very envious of those with the summer holidays off and going on leave this week! Another 5.5 weeks in work for me 😅

PoppingUp · 17/07/2024 22:14

@cd24x I work remote to most of my team and while they know I'm pregnant I don't think any of them truly appreciate how pregnant I actually am now...I'll need to make a point of standing up during a teams call so my bump eclipses the camera 😂

Fik88 · 17/07/2024 22:53

Hi, just checking in ☺️

malimoon · 18/07/2024 00:06

@Decaffe I'm working until mid September! Which feels ages but also not enough time to actually get everything done and ready for my handover 😅 at least I have an office job and can work from home if it gets to a point where that feels necessary

I’m hereeee

Lillers · 18/07/2024 05:49

I’m in the weird (but fortunate!) position where I’ll have the summer holidays off but then I’m going back in September! Tomorrow is the last day of school, then I’ll go back to work on 2nd Sept and I’m hoping to start my mat leave on 16th September - although if I get induced early that’ll go to shit 😂.

I dreamt last night that I went back to my uni and had the baby while I was there, then I kept losing her because she kept hiding in corners etc. I think my brain was confusing her for a kitten 😂

SC126 · 18/07/2024 05:58

Checking in. @Decaffe having the summer off will be lovely don’t get me wrong. But I’m not looking forward to having to entertain a 5 year old everyday for 6 weeks. Especially because I can barely walk far without being in pain. Hoping for at least some dry weather so we can play (sit) in the garden!

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 18/07/2024 06:22

I'm working until my due date (at least 😂)

I'm self employed, and I WFH - I work for a company part time 6-1 every day, then work for my own little business the rest of the day each day...so a little harder to navigate having time off for me unfortunately! 🙈

mrsbgb · 18/07/2024 06:40

I’m working until my due date as well @BeautyAndTheBump1 - 8 weeks left! I only have one more bit of travel, to Wales next week, but it’s to an agricultural show and I’m already dreading trekking round a showground for two days. A few weeks of being desk based will be lovely afterwards in comparison!

Has anyone started having braxton hicks? I think I might have last night, but not sure if I just overdid it in yoga and bump was tired 😂

TripleESept24 · 18/07/2024 07:37

I have the worst shoulder pain!! Anyone else?? Thought it would be lower back but the pain iny left shoulder blade is unbearable!!

Struggle to sit comfortably

TripleESept24 · 18/07/2024 07:37

Think I'm gonna treat myself to a pregnancy massage on holiday next week........
