@YellowHedgehog Will your EPU see you because of the spotting? Some will just say to monitor it to see if it gets worse but some will bring you in for a scan if there's any bleeding.
@Nervous764367 I've been ultra-cautious and haven't had sex since finding out - I know it can't do any harm, but I also know that if I see any sign of bleeding I'll freak out and spotting after sex is quite common in pregnancy so I've felt more comfortable avoiding sex for now. I've also been ridiculously tired at night for the last couple of weeks so definitely not in the mood! You definitely can though, if you want to.
@Ellenn @October73 Lovely news about both of your scans!
@KittyFantastica Has the private clinic referred you to the EPU for a confirmatory scan? If they have I hope it doesn't take too long for them to book you in.
@Strawbs92 Sorry to hear you didn't get much sympathy or support - I think sometimes the people who deal with these things all the time forget that even if it turns out to be nothing to worry about, it is a really big deal and really scary for the person experiencing it. Keeping fingers crossed for you for your scan this afternoon. ❤
@mrssunshinexxx Do you have to call up again on Monday to get booked in with the EPU? Hopefully the bleeding will stop over the weekend.
I had my reassurance scan at the EGU this morning - everything looking good, baby measuring 9+1 so still a day behind my dates but exactly two weeks' growth since my last scan a fortnight ago. Can't believe how much it looks like an actual baby now rather than just a misshapen blob, and it was even waving at us! EDD has been adjusted to 3rd October for now and I'm discharged from the EGU so just have to wait for my dating scan - hoping I might actually relax a little bit now and start to believe I'm really having a baby... Also had my midwife booking appointment right after - had to quickly neck a load of juice and water to make sure I was able to give a urine sample after having to pee before my scan. 😂
