@Nic2908 me too!! I’m really tired most of the time and of my goodness I can’t get warm.

I’ve just got my booking appointment and it’s not until I’m a little past 10 weeks which worries me a bit. Is it usually that late? She said between 8-10 on the phone but this will be 10+1 on my estimate. However I’ve also had very weird cycles so it could even be 11 weeks if I’ve not calculated properly. Do you think this is ok? Or should I flag it with the midwife?

73pheonix · 16/02/2024 12:23

Thank you everyone for your support. 🫶🏼 I was so so so nervous.

it’s in the right place, and saw a heartbeat - so feel pretty relieved for now.
it is measuring like 2.8mm which they said is very small for 6+1, so they want me back next Friday to see if it’s progressing. 😫

going to have to think positively but good news for now I think. Xx

Scarftown · 16/02/2024 12:31

Can I join. Just peed on the stick and it's positive. We have been trying but Jan we only had sex once so counted it out. I have a DD aged 2.5 so this will be my second.

KittyFantastica · 16/02/2024 13:03

Hello everyone 🙂.

I've held off joining until now as I had a chemical last month that really messed me up emotionally. I had no idea what a chemical was and I still feel so sad about it.

We decided to try again and I tested positive at 11DPO on Saturday. It has taken until now, 17DPO, to see any kind of proper progression with my tests, so I've been thinking I'm brewing up another chemical. Today's results are a little more promising. I'm not out of the woods by any means, but I want to feel able to share with others going through all the same physical and emotional changes at the same time.

I'm still nervous about how faint my tests are, but they ARE improving a little bit, so here we are. I'm due 22nd of October.

@73pheonix great that you were able to see a heartbeat. Like you say, just have to remain positive. Reading another post about ovulation I think the count from LMP can throw things off. I ovulated early on day 11 but if you ovulated 4/5 days later than that then the embryo would surely be smaller if that makes sense?

@CluelessInLondon fantastic news!

I still have 10 days to go until my early scan. I know we're not supposed to be testing anymore but I'm did a CB digital test this morning and it was 3+ weeks and I'm at 5+2 today.

73pheonix · 16/02/2024 14:04

@LuxeBiscuit thank you. I’m an IVF one so unfortunately I know exactly what I should be! However, there’s gotta be a range, and it still could have been slow to implant so just going to remain positive 🥰

CluelessInLondon · 16/02/2024 14:05

@Fullofconfusion It should be fine having your booking appointment at 10+1, the main thing is that you get your dating scan before 14 weeks.

@73pheonix It's good that you got to see the heartbeat - lots of growth could happen in the space of a week so keeping fingers crossed for you that you get to see a bigger bean next week and things are more reassuring.

@KittyFantastica @Scarftown Congratulations to both of you, and welcome to the October club.

@LuxeBiscuit I think getting that 3+ is a nice point to stop testing - it gives as much reassurance as you can really get so early on that things are 'normal'. It made quite a bit of difference to me as I never got a 3+ in my last pregnancy so it was nice to see it written in black and white!

mouldygrapes · 16/02/2024 14:30

Have been sent my booking appt for 9+5.
Same hospital as with my first and I can't remember exactly when I had my booking, but I know it was after 8 weeks as we'd had a private scan around then and it was definitely after that.

Am with everyone feeling anxious! Private scan not for 3 weeks and then I'll book a NIPT after that if scan shows a viable pregnancy. Feels like the days are crawling by.

@Scarftown congratulations! I also have a 2.5yr old, (well, just over, she'll be 3 in May).

mrssunshinexxx · 16/02/2024 16:09

I really can't believe this is true I still haven't told my husband. Telling him tonight with a scratch card pregnancy reveal he is going to be happy but very very shocked

summerbubs · 16/02/2024 17:11

So I should be 4+2 today but my clearblue digital test is still saying conceived 1-2 weeks ago. Should I be concerned?
In my previous pregnancy, the digital ones were extremely accurate which is why I'm a bit worried this time around x

4LeafCloverBaby · 16/02/2024 17:13

@summerbubs 4+2 from the 1st day of your last period? The clear blue goes from the conception so roughly when you would have ovulated

summerbubs · 16/02/2024 17:20

4LeafCloverBaby · 16/02/2024 17:13

I ovulated on the 31st January (and that was the only day we were together) so assuming I'd be 4+2. So I thought my clearblue would show as 2-3 weeks now, but still showing as 1-2? X

Ellenn · 16/02/2024 17:33

@73pheonix great news about the heartbeat 😍 they are so tiny at this stage maybe it’s just a slower grower and will catch up by next week. Were the clinic concerned? Definitely need to celebrate today you have an embryo and a heartbeat!!

@summerbubs congrats! I wouldn’t worry too much about the clear blue results as they sometimes aren’t really accurate. Maybe give it a few days then try and see if it has jumped up in wks? Otherwise the only way you can be certain your levels are rising is doing blood samples😊

KittyFantastica · 16/02/2024 18:01

@summerbubs My digital test yesterday said 1-2 and I'm 4w4d. I've had really slow progression on my tests and am still a little concerned that they're not as dark as they should be, but I got a strong Clearblue, One Step and Wondfos today.

I've done a lot of reading around the digitals and apparently sometimes they're not so accurate? My first digital said negative and I had super faint but visible lines on Wondfo at the time. I'm planning to leave it until I reach maybe the end of the weekend and try another one.

4LeafCloverBaby · 16/02/2024 18:08

@summerbubs they definitely aren’t an exact science. I also think you have to allow for implantation. I got 2-3 weeks 2 weeks after I ovulated it I only got my 3 weeks 3+2 days after I ovulated. I would give it a few days & try again. Definitely not something to worry about though x

spudnik1 · 16/02/2024 18:35

Had my early scan today. Thought I was 7+3 , but I measured 6+5 so a bit behind , but more importantly there was a heartbeat !

I think that means the miscarriage risk falls ? Going yo be frantically Googling now.

Sunandsea13 · 16/02/2024 20:02

Anyone know if a 59.7 nmol/L progesterone level is okay at 4w+5 or 5 weeks (not 100% on how far along I am)?

mrssunshinexxx · 16/02/2024 20:18

Is anyone not doing a digital?

mouldygrapes · 16/02/2024 20:34

mrssunshinexxx · 16/02/2024 20:18

Is anyone not doing a digital?

I'm not. Trying to just take it day by day and not focus on repeated testing. No judgment if it's helpful for others but I've decided not to do one.

mrssunshinexxx · 16/02/2024 20:54

I feel the same @mouldygrapes once I've missed my period feel like I'll be able to breathe

Bee49 · 16/02/2024 20:59

@summerbubs i got 1-2 at 4+2 and then did another at 5+4 and got 2-3. Hoping I’ll get a 3+ just after 6 weeks. I think that’s really normal and they’re not very accurate anyway!

@mrssunshinexxx i really envy you and good for you for not constantly peeing on sticks! I think for me because I had a MMC previously, not bleeding is zero reassurance for me. The only way I can persuade myself that things are okay if I can test and see progression.

LuxeBiscuit · 16/02/2024 20:59

@mrssunshinexxx I did a final digital today at 5+2 but like @CluelessInLondon said, it's a good place to stop.

Yep, this is good. My clinic likes it be over 45, although many are happy with lower.

Sunandsea13 · 16/02/2024 21:48

@AnnieApple123 that’s super helpful, thank you! So your clinic wouldn’t give progesterone supplement to anyone with a level over 45?

nervousn3lly · 16/02/2024 22:03

I had my follow on scan from last week where just the yolk sac was seen to a week later seeing an 11mm growing baby with a beautiful heart beat ❤️
My dates were correct after all 7wks 2days due 2nd Oct x
