Just found out I am 1-2 weeks pregnant according to clear blue digital!!

Estimated due date is 1st Oct.

@nervousn3lly what a lovely scan! I had my booking appointment yesterday- and we have the exact same due date! 😄
I had a scan at EPU at6 weeks, I'm thinking to book one next week to check all is ok in there

@KittyFantastica Welcome and congratulations! I've had two chemical pregnancies so I know your worry and trepidation. If you can, I would suggest getting a blood test to check your hCG levels. This was the only thing that put my mind at ease. Try to remember that home tests aren't designed to be quantitative and there are so many variables which affect how dark the line is. They really can't tell us very much. And those digital by weeks ones are the pits. They cause more anxiety than it's worth. (Though your 17dpo line was strong!!)

@73pheonix Great news that there is a heartbeat. Do you know how fast it was? So much can change in baby size in a few days so try not to be too down and worried. Sending you lots of positive vibes for Friday. Xx

I feel like I’m going to have to go bra shopping soon. My boobs have decided that they need to grow and they’re so super sore. I’ll be happy for that symptom to settle down!

Went for my scan this morning. Baby is measuring perfectly for 5+3 and to everyone's surprise we saw the featal pulse and heard the heartbeat. Next scan is booked for two weeks to see our little gummy bear. I'm on cloud nine. Going to call my mum this afternoon to tell her the good news.

@Sunandsea13 I remember you asking about getting a scan pre 6weeks. I would honestly hold off unless you know how sensitive the machine is.

Hi all, can I also very tentatively join?! I just found out I’m pregnant (first ever bfp after 15 months!!) and am due 25th October. Am very early (only 14dpo) but lines are looking really strong so am allowing myself to get a little bit excited…!

Thanks so much @Oct24 and @4LeafCloverBaby 🤗. This morning's FMU tests were the strongest yet, so it looks like I'm catching up now. I don't know why but I've got it into my head that I need to see a dye stealer to relax, which I know is totally ridiculous because plenty of people never see one! I think it's left over feelings from the chemical where they just got fainter and fainter. I'm now addicted to seeing them get darker and darker.

Both hubs and I are on edge and desperate to feel some joy and excitement, but we both know it's not going to happen until past 12 weeks. Both our mums had miscarriages, one at 12 weeks and one at 13 weeks, so I think we are both a bit over-sensitive to invasive thoughts about it.

I'm not able to book a blood test sadly as my GP won't do them and I won't see the results of any organised by the maternity unit until I've had my booking in meeting (yet to be confirmed). We did book an early scan for between 6-7 weeks though because, weirdly, it was actually cheaper than blood tests! Can't wait to see what's happening in there!

Can anyone help me figure out how many weeks I am? I have PCOS and irregular cycles but was doing pregnancy tests every 2 days so I know I’m not weeks out. From my results I think I am 5 weeks yesterday so 5w+1 day today? What is confusing me is that on that basis should the CB digital not have been positive on 6 Feb? Should I be worried I am more than doubling every 48 hours?

@Sunandsea13 CB digitals generally need a higher HCG number to show a positive. I got positive on a cheap strip long before a positive on a digital. They’re also very inaccurate so I wouldn’t base much on them!

@Sunandsea13 its almost impossible to tell my guess would be you might be between 4.5-5.5 weeks? Don’t think you will know until your first scan though as levels can be really variable between individuals! Also if levels are doubling every 48 hrs that’s usually a really good sign!
