Just found out I am 1-2 weeks pregnant according to clear blue digital!!

Estimated due date is 1st Oct.

I also booked an early scan, but they called me today to say that they don't like to do them before 7 weeks as they can't guarantee they will be able to see anything by that point. I'd booked it for 6w4d. I had an early loss last month at 5 weeks and am desperate to just know if there's anything there.

They did scare me into pushing it back a bit. I pushed it back to 7w on the dot. I've still had no real symptoms to speak of, even my one sore boob has been less sore today, so I'm feeling a bit desperate.

@KittyFantastica don’t fret about Boob ache. Mine is coming on and off too and has been since the start. I find they hurt most at night. My scan at 6w 5d was described as “unremarkable” in a good way, despite on off symptoms since the start.

I don’t think the symptoms are the be all and end all. I know people who have had symptoms who’ve later been told their pregnancy hasn’t been viable since the start, and had other people now with babies whose only symptoms was a need to smell and touch wood.

@KittyFantastica oh love - try to relax, I know it's hard. I feel your frustration, I had early losses before this positive and feel entirely differently to when i had DD. I've not come on, I'm exhausted and my boobs feel funny from time to time so I'm just taking that as a good sign at the moment. It's taking a LOT if mental convincing to get me to that place. Try and see the plus, at 7 weeks you should definitely see a heartbeat 💗

I had horrible morning sickness from now with DD so it's a relief not to have that to contend with from so early and I had an early scan with DD around 6 weeks and it was more anxiety inducing than had I not, so you will get more out of it by waiting a week or so. I know it's hard but there is a positive in it somewhere.

I’ve contacted the midwife’s today as I’m worried I’ve ballsed my dates up and I could be further on than I am. My booking appointment is for when I think I’ll be 10+1 however if you go from the first day of my last period I’d be more like 12 weeks. The midwife is going to give me a call tomorrow so I’ll see what they suggest. I had irregular and rather long cycles so I’m finding it hard to know exactly when I conceived and how far along I am

@AnxiousD early scan through epu due to previous loss. Although my other two pregnancies I did pay private for them.

@Holl89 fingers crossed it will be a more positive experience for you. Defo understand that feeling of fear. Can’t wait to see your beautiful scan picture.

Slightly TMI but is anyone struggling to do the deed? Missionary is fine but the moment we try anything else... I get awful pain/cramping in my pelvis/lower stomach area. I'm only 4+5 and it's putting me off sex already!

@summerbubs no I will not let anything inside me in the early weeks 😂 so no DTD here. This is because it caused a bleed with my pregnancy with my son. I'm just afraid of causing problems early on so will wait until at least 8 weeks... my husband has been warned 😅

@Bb542 oh no I'm so sorry to read this. I've been there 3 times and honestly don't feel safe myself right now I completely feel your pain. We're here if you need to talk but if you don't want to look here anymore there's a lovely group of ladies in a thread on the conception board who are TTC after loss and I was in it just before I joined here. Take care of yourself!

How funny @OneSunnyFox, my one sore boob is worse and night and fine by the next morning! Thanks for your reply, it's very reassuring :)

And thank you @ButterflySkies, it's always good to be reminded that every body and every pregnancy is different. I'm an impatient person and I also am so desperate to talk to my mum and MIL about some things, but we've said we won't tell anyone yet. We didn't tell anyone last time, but found it so difficult to let family know (we only told immediate family just because I was too unwell to attend a gathering and Hubs couldn't pretend nothing was wrong, he was distraught).

I think we have both tried so hard not to invest, yet it's impossible not to.

Awful nights sleep. I had a dream I was on the toilet and woke up weeing 😫😫😫

How did you guys sleep ?

@tryingforbaba oh dear! That does not sound ideal! Lol

My sleep hasn't been great. Fantastic at falling asleep but having very vivid dreams and sort of waking at random times but not fully waking up. Sort of like the zone between awake and asleep. I'm awake but not enough to do anything about it. It's so weird!

@Oct24 omg the dreams. Just continuous. I feel like I just be thrashing round in my sleep so much.

I'm the same, I fall asleep easily but then will wake up from a dream about 4 and struggle to get back off.

Hi all!

I am due on October 27th 2024 (all being well). Have one DD who is 19 months. Had a small bleed a few days ago (which I never had with DD so instantly catastrophised), but lines still getting darker so really hoping pregnancy is ok. Might get myself a private reassurance scan at 6 weeks…

So.. I posted before about my dr saying my HCG was borderline at 273 and she wanted to repeat (think it was because we weren't sure how far I am exactly and obviously it goes by doubling rate)

Anyway .. 1st one was 14/02 273 and I had my other one yesterday 19/02 and it's come back as 3112 so 5 days difference and over 1000% increase. I wasn't expecting it to be that high, I'm guessing it's ok for it to more than double?

Waiting for GP to call a bit later but wondered if anyone else has had similar?

I found I 3 days ago I am pregnant with baby number 2 ♥️ On Sunday I did a clear blue weeks indicator test and it said 1-2 (which I know means 3-4 weeks pregnant) and then today I did another and it still says 1-2.
I worry as today I should be 4+5 by my clinics dates and was expecting the date test to say 2-3 (which would mean 4-5 weeks pregnant) I know the exact day I ovulated which adds more pressure to the worry.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I’m just expecting the worse. Xx

Bit random but just concerned I’m maybe not eating enough. I usually have 1400 kcals a day to maintain my weight. Is this too little now? I’ve read we don’t need to increase kcals until 3rd trimester by 200 kcals a day. I’m also used to not eating from tea at 6pm until breakfast at 10am and I don’t think that’s healthy now?
