Just found out I am 1-2 weeks pregnant according to clear blue digital!!

Estimated due date is 1st Oct.

Anyone know the difference between IU/L and U/L? Trying to understand my HCG results and they give the results in U/L and the expected ranges in LMP U/L.

I had my first positive test a few days ago.
I have PCOS and have been trying for years (around 10) .. I am cautiously joining and hoping everything sticks! Wouldn’t know how far along I am as my cycles are irregular but I’m currently on cycle day 40 .. so would be due around mid Oct I think.

Done about a million tests 🤣 and will probably do more 😂. Going to book an early scan for next week .. I am so nervous and my anxiety is through the roof 😬 everything I feel, I think it’s AF coming 🥺

I’m only 4 weeks tomorrow and already can’t wear my jeans 😬 it’s like my body has just bounced straight back to ‘oh I remember pregnant’ and bloated me right out! Any other mums on baby 2/3/4 and finding it hard to be comfy in jeans already? Xx

@MrsFruitie yep, me! #3 (fingers crossed) and I already look 4 months gone. 👀 I got my 2 stone award at slimming World a week before I found out.... Guess I won't be getting to target any time soon 🤣

Hello everyone, hope it's okay to join, got my bfp a couple of days ago, edd based on lmp is 24th October. I have one DD who is 2.5. Already feeling exhausted and having nausea and heart burn, it feels much harder this time around not being able to just sleep when I'm not at work!
How is everyone else doing?

Anyone experiencing pains ‘down there’ have heard it referred to as lightning crotch? But seems too early for that :/ HCG was 271 today which is great as was 46 on Thursday, but worried it could be something bad :/

@4LeafCloverBaby omg so glad to hear you are experiencing it, thought I was going insane. Having the worst train journey of my life, so close to just vomiting everywhere 😭 and the stabbing pain made it worse!

@Sunandsea13 oh you poor thing. I came home & laid straight on the sofa with a blanket. Feeling pretty rubbish right now 🥴 Hope you get home soon

Had a positive test today and think that makes me 4 weeks. Feel totally shocked as it’s our first baby and we only tried once two weeks ago didn’t think in a million years it would actually happen that quick as I’m 39 and my husband is 40. My due date is 21st October.

I feel absolutely clueless. Just had to Google what BFP meant 😂

Was convinced my period was coming the last last few days as I felt a bit irrational, bloated and mild cramps which is exactly what I get before my period. I was due yesterday then did a test today, I’m convinced I’ve done the test wrong!

@4LeafCloverBaby that’s exactly what I’m going to do too! Think it’s worse as I want to talk to my mum about all this but trying to hold out for a scan at 7-8 weeks!

@Sunandsea13 same hun! I’m waiting until Mother’s Day to tell my Mum & sisters because I just thought it would be a lovely day to do it & I’ll be 10 weeks by then so will feel a bit safer but it’s so hard waiting. I feel like I’m having to distance myself from them a bit so I don’t slip up 😔 It will be worth it but it’s so hard

@4LeafCloverBaby Same! I’m telling my Mum the day before Mother’s Day as staying over and I’ll never manage to not let it slip! I’m planning on telling her I have a present she needs to open before Sunday and getting a card with the scan photo in it!

These symptoms are insane, feel so sick but want a cheese & ham toastie so badly at the same time 😂😂

@Sunandsea13 ahh great minds think alike. I’ve bought these for my mum & 2 sisters & going to get them to open them at the same time saying I have made something for them 🥰 I’m going to sneakily try & video their reaction too haha

yep it’s like sick hungry. I’ve just put a jacket potato in the oven, I think I’ll be able to eat that

@4LeafCloverBaby they are stunning!! We haven’t got long to go, just need to get through next 4 weeks or so! I even told my mum my period had come to get her off the scent!

Yes, stabby pains up my bits and crampy pains on the left and centre

I'm not feeling anywhere near as nauseous as I did a few days ago though which is making me a bit worried

@MrsFruitie pregnancy number 3 here I’m 6+3 and already feel so tight, it’s like my body has just picked up where it left off last time!!

@Nic2908 Honestly it’s mad! I’m 4 weeks in but my body is like ‘nope let’s feel 8 weeks and not fit in clothes!’ I’m chunky anyway but wow no more jeans for me 🥲

@polkadotpixie honestly that’s completely normal! It comes and goes. Yesterday I was fine and today I’ve felt absolutely terrible. You’ve got to think each day your body is doing something new and sometimes you’ll react to it and sometimes you won’t! Best thing is to just think positive and go for an early scan at your EPU in a few weeks if you’re still worried

Anyone else having really weird dreams....?!

YES! Twice in the last week I’ve dreamt my daughters hamster cage is full of hamsters/hamster babies and I’ve had to scramble to seperate them all… very odd 😂

I had a dream I'd cheated on my husband and was stressing in case the baby wasn't his.... I kept waking up and having to remind myself it wasn't true....

I mean WTF

Is anyone else changing skincare, haircare, make-up etc? Don’t know what to use and what not. A lot of American sites basically ban everything, but read about the risk of using hairspray, so it is all a bit unclear.

I have switched to simple skincare as their website says it’s safe for pregnancy, but can’t see any make up sites that confirm this.

Shampoo and Conditioner also seems a bit difficult with lots of sites saying different things.
