@MamatoIvyandbump I did this both times 😂😂😂😂

I turned up at gyne at 3 weeks pregnant and just went "err I'm pregnant" ... I was ushered out hastily and told to come back at 6 weeks when a heartbeat will be detectable.

(I have private healthcare as live abroad so system is a bit diff. We don't have to wait for referral)

Morning ladies! I’ve woken up feel sick to my stomach, I suffered with HG before so I’m super worried this time around. I’m 5 weeks today so really early too. Anybody got any magic remedies?

Ellenn · 06/02/2024 07:48

Hey 👋 I was wondering if I could join?

Im super early still (4+2wks) and this is my 4th embryo transfer 😬 unfortunately my previous 3 transfers have all resulted in miscarriages 😢 I’m really hoping for a better outcome this time and also struggling being anxious about having to go through another miscarriage.

hope everyone is doing well xx

Oct24 · 06/02/2024 08:44

Hi ladies. Excited to join you all. Had my BFP a few days ago and blood test today (4weeks) confirmed I have a little one on board.

Hope you're all feeling well! Xx

aussiegirl89 · 06/02/2024 10:36

Welcome and congrats!

@Ellenn so sorry to hear about your losses. This is my first FET and after 2 losses myself I'm also very anxious. It's a really tough time. The trauma and grief comes up a lot for me still.

I noticed brown spotting today - very light brown, almost beige coloured. I spoke to the midwife nurse at our fertility clinic who said it was most likely old blood working its way out after implantation. Really hope so.

Has anyone else had spotting of any kind?

Fullofconfusion · 06/02/2024 11:11

@aussiegirl89 we DTD last week and on wiping I had a some pinky discharge and honestly thought it was the start of my period. I assumed it would start in Ernest the next day and when I didn’t that’s when I tested and got my BFP. I can only assume some kind of implantation bleeding.

Freddie289 · 06/02/2024 15:13

Hi everyone,

I got 1-2 weeks on CB digital last Friday but because my period was 3/1/24 I'm 5 weeks on Flo and NHS pregnancy tracker - anyway I am due on 9th October and this will be my 2nd child. I have a 2 year old DD.
We're overjoyed as we were trying for our 2nd but now it's sunken in I'm incredibly nervous! I thought it would be easier with a toddler to focus on but I think I'm slightly worse than the 1st time round, maybe because I know what to expect so I'm questioning if I'm having the same symptoms etc! I vomited pretty much every day until DD was born which started fairly early, so I haven't experienced anything yet bar some nausea in the morning until I eat something, on and off sore boobs and light cramps.
I hope everyone is keeping well and sending my best wishes to all 🤗

Freddie289 · 06/02/2024 15:20

@aussiegirl89 I had some very light cramping on Saturday and a little light brown spotting- I had some pinky brown streaked CM shortly after but no more since, from what I remember I had this with my firstborn too and was also told that it was implantation, I hope this is helpful

SeaBridge · 06/02/2024 16:04

Hi everyone. I've been deliberating whether or not to join as it's such early days, but after six years of TTC and six rounds of IVF, I'm a bit over the idea of jinxing things! I got my blood test results on Saturday after a FET, so I'm currently 4 weeks 4 days. My last transfer ended in miscarriage and I had a chemical pregnancy before that, so like many of you I'm very anxious, but am trying to take it one day at a time and remind myself that what will be will be, and worrying won't change anything. This is such an anxious time isn't it?! Can someone just sedate me for the next eight weeks?!

AnnieApple123 · 06/02/2024 16:08

@aussiegirl89 I had 3-4 days of light brown spotting with my first between 4 and 5 weeks. All turned out fine. Hope that’s reassuring.

AnnieApple123 · 06/02/2024 16:10

Welcome @SeaBridge . There are quite a few us here who have had long difficult journeys. I’ve had similar thoughts about just wanting to be sedated for this early bit.

Ellenn · 06/02/2024 16:10

@SeaBridge i feel you if you find a way round this sedation route let me know as im in 🙋‍♀️ just paranoid this is going to end like all my other transfers and so dying to just have a baby. Why is it so damn hard 🤣

@aussiegirl89 thanks and sorry to hear of your miscarriages too they are just awful aren’t they. I hope your spotting settled down xx

PineappleBella · 06/02/2024 18:06

So me and my other half decided to do a digital pregnancy test so we have a photo to announce to close family members. I’m 4 weeks 6 days (I think) pretty certain as I know when I ovulated. I’ve never had a 3+ on a digi ever with any of my babies 😂 so of course now would be the time I would. It’s got me thinking though, is this normal? Does it indicate twins? Because I’ve googled until I can’t Google anymore and I’ve dug myself into a hole 😂 any advice?!

4LeafCloverBaby · 06/02/2024 18:36

@PineappleBella i got my 3+ at 3+2 after ovulation

Firsttime997 · 06/02/2024 19:12

@4LeafCloverBaby the test must be wrong. Nobody has hcg of 2,700 at barely past 3weeks and i’d be worried if they did. Sorry, I just don’t want other people panicking if they don’t get 3+ that early as that’s a very strange occurrence.

CharlieBalf · 06/02/2024 19:12

Hi all, but of a scary one today.

I had a lot of one sided shooting pain and the EPAU sent me to A and E with suspected ectopic.

After a bunch of tests and some pain meds via IV they've sent me home to come back for a scan tomorrow at 8 30am.

By my LMP I'm only 4w +3 (03.01.24) but by the conception date I'm 5w +2.... either way far too early tell anything from a scan.

What is the sonographer going to see? Hopefully the baby is in the right place but I'm thinking ill have to come back around 7 weeks for a heartbeat scan?

Also they did my bloods and my Hcg came back around 450. Feels a bit low for 4 weeks.

One very nervous night ahead. 😕

MamaToDD · 06/02/2024 19:14

Hello everyone 👋 and congratulations!

Nervous to join this group after a miscarriage last year, but am also really excited and hopeful, so would love to join!

Currently 5 weeks pregnant (due Oct 8th - noticed a couple of people with the same DD when reading through this thread!) have a 2.5 year old DD, and am 36 (will be 37 when little one arrives).

Don’t really have any symptoms yet which is making me a little nervous - I was really nauseous with my daughter, but think it hit me around week 6… weird to be praying for sickness, but would be relieved to feel it!

Feels like a lot of people on this thread have been through tough journeys to get here - fingers crossed for everyone, roll on second trimester!! 🙏🤞🏻

@PineappleBella it could be twins or it could just be that high HCG is normal for you! There’s a huge range of what is classed as normal. I’d also read this article as the weeks indicators are incredibly inaccurate (although that doesn’t stop me using them 🤣).

4LeafCloverBaby · 06/02/2024 19:17

@Firsttime997 thanks for that…I got 2-3 wks 2+2 after ovulation along with a lot of other women…which IS normal & then I got my 3+ 3+2 days after ovulation along with a lot of other women…not saying everyone will get the same but what I got is normal thanks!

Firsttime997 · 06/02/2024 19:19

@4LeafCloverBaby just realised you said post ovulation. My bad! I tonight you meant 3 + 2 weeks pregnant, which was why I thought that was pretty much impossible. But you are absolutely right, 3+2 after ovulation is a perfectly normal time to get 3+!

4LeafCloverBaby · 06/02/2024 19:22

@Firsttime997 yes exactly…I’m 6 weeks pregnant but 3+4 after ovulation

CluelessInLondon · 06/02/2024 20:17

Welcome and congratulations @Fullofconfusion @MamatoIvyandbump @Ellenn @Oct24 @SeaBridge @MamaToDD - so many new BFPs since yesterday evening, I hope I didn't miss anyone!

@SeaBridge I know what you mean about being nervous to join in, I nearly didn't join this thread having had a previous loss but really wanted somewhere to share the thoughts and anxieties that my husband, as supportive as he is, just doesn't get!

@CharlieBalf Sorry to hear things aren't too good today - I really hope it's just a scare about the ectopic and you can get some reassurance tomorrow. I don't think they'll be able to see much so early on, but hopefully they'll at least be able to tell if the gestational sac is forming in the right place, then I'm guessing they might want to bring you back a couple of weeks later. I hope you can get some rest tonight - let us know how you get on tomorrow.

I got confirmation of my booking appointment today - weirdly, all I got was an automated email telling me to look at the online patient record system to see the appointment. Not quite sure how they would have let me know if I wasn't registered for it! 🤷🏼‍♀️ At least it's sorted though, good to have it in the diary and now I'm just really hoping I make it that far...

MamatoIvyandbump · 06/02/2024 21:05

Thankyou for the kind welcome! Congratulations to you too! I had an automated confirmation yesterday too when I registered for badger notes (it’s all changed now as it was paper notes when I had my lg in 2022!) I’m honestly feeling so nervous as the days go by, nervous of not having a healthy pregnancy (I know that’s a worry that everyone has and that won’t go away) I just feel like I was so lucky the first time and that I’m not lucky enough to be successful this time. We’ve been ttc for 11 and I dreamed of being pregnant again for months but now I am I just feel fear, constant knicker checking and just praying to make it through every day :(

Holl89 · 06/02/2024 21:18
