Hi guys, 22 weeks here! Is anyone else getting sore from all the kicking? I've got a cold and every time I blow my nose she kicks me 🤣 it seems she's found a spot that's close to a nerve because elsewhere it's OK, but there's one specific zone that really catches me by surprise whenever she goes for it!

I’m only at 19 weeks and can’t wait to feel some kicks. I know I will regret it once they do come 😂
Little flutters every now and then are nice though!

Ah cute! I found the flutters so odd, like am I imagining them or are they real? Kicks are definitely undeniably baby though!

I think I started getting definite kicks around 20 weeks so sounds like you're almost at that point (nb baby's placenta is at the back of my uterus, if yours is at the front it may take longer to feel fully)!

Just a heads up ladies to do your kegels- I've now pissed myself 4 times in the last 24 hours from sneezing 🫠

Exciting! Have you had your 20 week scan yet?

The weird thing is that my kegels still seems strong - I can hold them for 2 mins no issues and can do quick or long holds with no problem. So wetting myself repeatedly over the past 2 days has been a major surprise to me!

Also whilst I'm sharing news on body fluids...lactating during sex is apparently a thing now too. Luckily DH didn't mind!

Not yet! Mine's on Monday - it's gone so slowly but also so fast at the same time! Jealous yours is on Thursday - that's very punctual of them scheduling it for bang on 20 weeks :)

I can relate too hard here. I’m generally
quite sneezy in the morning anyway but add this cold i’ve got to it i’m a snotty, pissy mess. my other half finds it hilarious when i sneeze then run off cause i wee’d a little. no sympathy from him lol

Hahaha yep!!! It has started for me!! Gonna start this week! 🥲

Found out after I posted that my kegels are actually really strong (confirmed by my husband too 😅) but the trick is to engage them before/as you cough or sneeze, which I know is easier said than done! I think it's just the baby putting pressure on the bladder rather than weakened muscles for me.
