Aw thank you so much! I still can't quite believe it tbh but feeling very thankful. Consultant led and he was really thorough so feeling like I'll be well looked after too 💕☺️

We are definitely feeling a lot better about it. I’m glad they are still following up with a scan of the heart too and a bit nervous about that but generally feeling much better. It feels like they overstated the risk at the first scan and made us feel like we needed to prepare for something being wrong when we already had the low risk NIPT whereas at the follow up, the Dr was clear that NT is not a diagnostic test and the diagnostic test we had had said low risk so the risk was small.

@Isitisit I'm so pleased you've been reassured by the doctors. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. It sounds positive and I have absolutely everything crossed for you.

My NIPT results have also come back low risk for everything. I've been told the private sonographer shouldn't have told me the NT was raised because I was only 10 weeks, but they did, and to be fair I'd have noticed it and googled it anyway!

I have a specialist scan with the hospitals fetal medicine consultant next week instead of a dating scan, I'll be 11 and 5. I've been very lucky to get this and have only done so because I've worked myself up to the point of considering a termination. I've really not coped at all.
I'll find out what the NT measurement is then, when you're supposed to measure it, and whether there's anything that can be identified at this stage re heart or structural stuff, and go from there. I'll keep you posted.

On a lighter note, anybody else absolutely unable to tolerate their jeans being fastened? 🙈 Not sure if it's bloat, weight gain or bump but my tummy is definitely protruding and I'm only 11 weeks!

@bobbles4091 I had the same issue with jeans/skirts etc (mostly due to bloat but also some weight gain/baby bump). I caved and bought maternity leggings and they've been a game changer - so comfy!

@bobbles4091 Thats great news about your NIPT results. It was seeing the fetal medicine consultant and her summary that reassured me so I hope you get the same xxx

Got my 12 week scan on Thursday! In what is predicted as my week 13. Estimated due date is 15th August will get a more precise Thursday.
I'm have an elected c-section so will go a few weeks earlier 😃

@bobbles4091 yes! It’s soo uncomfortable wearing jeans even when using the hairband trick. I’m 12 weeks exactly and have a small bump now (second pregnancy) so think I’ll have to maybe look into getting maternity jeans/leggings soon.

I have my scan at 10am eek! I woke about an hour ago and couldn’t fall back asleep due to excitement/nerves.

i have caved and bought some maternity jeans off vinted as I’ve been so uncomfortable- predictably the bloat has been a lot better since so might not need them but I guess it won’t be long!

a friend told me to drink more water than I thought possible and it has made a huge difference!

My scan is under two weeks away but it feels like foreverrrrr.....

@Fawklight the waiting seems like an eternity doesn't it! Especially when you have a later due date in the group - I was like that with my son and everyone else always got to things a few weeks before me!

@SnookyPook I'll be here like why won't you come out now!! At the end after seeing all your babies 🤣

@Fawklight haha yep - my son helpfully arrived 8 days after his due date too so I think only 3 other women in the group had their babies after me 😂 Thought he was never going to come!

@Fawklight you never know, your baby may make a slightly early appearance and some of us may have late appearances - competition is on! 😉
