Hello everyone just found out today I’m pregnant after 17 long cycles of trying. I’m 4 weeks and already so nauseous.

Hi all,

I got my positive yesterday - nausea was absolutely ridiculous! Due 1st September. 😊

Congratulations 😊 🤍

Lemonyfire · 27/12/2023 22:34

Hello
im tentatively joining, I got my BFP ( I think) yesterday. Clear line on CB, faint on others, neg on digital still. Been ttc#3 for 18 months after quite a gap! Have a 12 and 9 year old. Feeling very anxious and won’t quite believe it until I see the words written, I think I’m still worried the tests could be wrong! No symptoms whatsoever, but in the last 18 months I’ve had symptoms and been BFN!

@Jeyla1230 how weird! Others have requested to join so not sure what’s happened. If you want to PM me your Facebook details I think I can add you to the group directly?

Sorry got pains in my hips so tried to get comfy. I'll message you now :)

How's everyone feeling today? Don't the days go so slow! I'm 4 + 4 today and every single day seems like an age! Just want to get to 6 + something so I can have an early scan - so impatient 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm working today but just having a brew so thought I'd check in. Hope everyone is doing okay!

Congrats on the BFP @Lemonyfire

Lemonyfire · 28/12/2023 12:08

I’m off today- so more time to obsess 😆 I feel generally okay, bit nauseous waiting for the sore boobs!

emmatcc1 · 28/12/2023 12:10

No nausea for me this morning but still no appetite. I’ve sleep so much tonight and I’m still so tired.

MudandMoet · 28/12/2023 12:27

@Lemonyfire the obsession, I get it! 😂

It's every single thought I have, all day every day. I've no idea how I'm concentrating and probably making more mistakes than not!

@emmatcc1 pleased you've no nausea this morning. Im eating like a pig, I didn't get any sickness with my other pregnancies so I'm not sure if that's a good sign or not. I have a friend who was really really sick all the way through her pregnancy on her first (ended up in hospital on a drip) and then for her second she had none at all, it must be the luck of the draw I guess.

TallulahTaboo · 28/12/2023 13:25

Afternoon ladies! Feeling ok over here, managed the gym to take my mind off testing and obsessing too. Currently day two into potty training and safe to say, I'm knackered 😂😂

Is anyone thinking of an early scan? I had one last time at around 8/9 weeks and it was fab but since heard so many bad experiences/reports about these places.

Hope you're all having a great afternoon!

Lemonyfire · 28/12/2023 13:27

Yes I had early scans with both of mine and I will do again! Just the reassurance that something is there!

Fawklight · 28/12/2023 13:42

I was thinking of buying an early scan as well. But I'm not sure.

emmatcc1 · 28/12/2023 13:48

I spoke too soon. Went to go pick up prenatals and the nausea hit me. In my country the first scan is done between 8–10 weeks so no need for me to get an early one.

Hi everyone I would love to join! Congrats on your bfps! I just got mine today and am due 8th Sep. Only 11DPO currently. This will be our first baby, we had a miscarriage in September and this was our 3rd cycle since, so I’m very nervous about these next couple of weeks!
My symptoms are swollen and sore boobs and a faster heartbeat which I wasn’t expecting! Anyone else got this?

GoldDustWoman90 · 28/12/2023 16:16

Looks like I'm leaving just as soon as I joined.

Cramping started last night and woke up this morning to light pink spotting. By this afternoon it had turned into full blown bleeding and the EPU has pretty much confirmed what I'd thought.....I'm experiencing my first miscarriage at 5 weeks exactly.

I'm absolutely heartbroken. My husband and I had been trying for 18 months and this was the most perfect Christmas present.

Any tips/positive conception following loss stories from you lovelies? I feel so lost in all this. I can't stop crying. This isn't fair.

I am so sorry about this 😢

I am so sorry to read this. Give yourself time to heal. I had a miscarriage in between my two children and nothing anyone can say can help, but be kind to yourself xxxx

TallulahTaboo · 28/12/2023 17:16

@GoldDustWoman90 I'm so so sorry. I had a chemical at 4 weeks so I know how you feel. We were trying for just under a year and miscarried on my birthday. It's a wave of emotions for sure. Just take some time to allow yourself to feel what you feel.. a loss is a loss at any stage. But don't give up... my MW said you're super fertile straight after so if you feel ready, try again 🤍 sending you lots of love and strength xx

YellowZ · 28/12/2023 17:22

Hey @GoldDustWoman90 so sorry to hear your update. I've had an ectopic - but was very lucky to get pregnant second cycle trying this time round - so you never know, you might concieve again quickly 🤞🏼 really sorry though, it's heartbreaking for sure.

@MrsB2019x ah thanks for the tip, think I'll ring the epu directly on Tuesday (I'm still only 14dpo) and see if they'll book a scan. My ectopic was treated in a different city, we moved early this year, so they won't have seen me before.

MudandMoet · 28/12/2023 18:30

@GoldDustWoman90 sorry to read your update 😭 it's heartbreaking especially as you've been trying for a while. I had contradictory advice on trying again after my MC's, some on the EPU said leave it 3 months for your body to heal (I was 8-9 weeks) and then another person on EPU said to just go for it straight away when you feel ready. My cycles fell back into line quite quickly each time. Hope yours do too - sending big hugs 🥰

GHJ · 28/12/2023 18:43

@GoldDustWoman90 I'm so so sorry to hear this. I'm so grateful not to have experienced this yet but I can't imagine how I'd deal with the heartbreak. I can't offer any advice but thinking of you at this really awful time.
