Hello everyone just found out today I’m pregnant after 17 long cycles of trying. I’m 4 weeks and already so nauseous.

@HolyMoly24 I’m a massive fan of Ovia too, apparently you can’t get it in the UK anymore unless you had it downloaded already 🤔 so glad I still had it on my phone from DD!

@MudandMoet aww thanks for thinking of me. Hopefully all good over here. Yeah it's a long wait, I've decided to book a scan for next week at 8 weeks.

@Xur yeah I'm in a similar situation as I'm from the UK but partner is from another part of Europe. Definitely makes it harder to pick a name. Lots of names originate from his first language though so hopefully won't be too much of a drama.

@doitjustice95 thanks, booking in scan went well. Lots of health questions, bloods, urine sample, blood pressure and advice about vitamins, scans and so on. Didn't make it to the appointment last time so was kind of excited to go. I was given ferrous sulfate tablets as they are doing a trial as to whether it helps reduce anemia during pregnancy or not. Anyone else get that?

@Wanderlust86 were you anaemic before pregnancy? I'm anaemic but though pregnancare max conception would be enough but I've got a mouth full of canker sores that I get when it's not treated properly. I guess pregnancy tipped me over the edge again

I just searched it and managed to down load. It's so good! The others I downloaded were pretty useless and full of ads so thanks for the recomendation

@siobhanmt247 no I have no history of it. She said they are giving it to everyone throughout the whole pregnancy as a trial.

I ovulated December 13th (really painful cramps that evening so very sure of this date)

Got my faint positive on Xmas day (11/12DPO)

Got my 2-3 weeks on January 1st (around 19DPO?)

and another 2-3 weeks on January 4th (around 22DPO)

Then got my 3+ on January 9th (around 27DPO)

I was given ferrous sulphate in my first pregnancy @Wanderlust86 and it seemed to work a treat! I only stared from about 20ish weeks as some blood work came up indicating low iron levels so the midwife gave me FS which I had with an orange/OJ and I felt the (positive) effects quite quickly!

I couldn’t find a part 2?? Did you do one??

@Wanderlust86 ahh hopefully the next week flies by for your scan. At 8 weeks there'll be plenty to see too, mines on Wednesday at 1pm and I'll be 8 + 3 xx

Anyone else have random spots? I've got 4 on my lower cheek/chin - they're quite red! I've never had bad skin and I'm really paranoid about it. Any suggestions on what I can use to help calm / stop them?

@HoneyandSunshine Not yet I was waiting for this one to fill up so the new one wouldn’t get lost in all the other threads.

Are any of you showing already? I feel like there’s a little bump there even in the mornings when I’m not bloated.

@MudandMoet yes I suddenly have some giant spots on my jawline - never usually get those. Must be hormone related. It was actually one of my first symptoms I think. I have been using a face wash for acne (Kate Somerville) and just a simple moisturiser so as not to further clog!

I feel like I can see a tiny bump but keep thinking it’s far too early!

@emmatcc1 how far gone are you? I can’t wait for a bump! I’m just bloated constantly at the moment 🤣

This is a little embarrassing - but I’m getting constant wee leaking in my pants. Anyone else? At first I thought it was clear discharge, but did a sniff test and definitely not wee. Only 6 weeks + 2! So god help me in a few months when there’s a big bouncing baby in there pushing on my bladder 😂 might have to go get some Tena lady 🙈

@VT6 I’m 7+2 I know I was super bloated after week 5 to the point my belly felt very tight but now it feels different.

Me too by evening I look about 6 months pregnant and my belly is normally quite flat 🤦🏽‍♀️ I mentioned it to my partner yesterday and he said he already noticed my giant evening bump the night before 😂 I'm looking forward to my proper bump arriving though make it more real!

Could you have an infection?
I keep feeling like I have wee'd or started bleeding but it's just clear discharge giving me a heart attack several times a day!

@MudandMoet yeap, same here, spots on my chin, not the visible bit of chin, but right under it. I got the hormonal ones that feel like are deeper and do not turn white. I normally do not get them, but my friend warned of these, said they will stop by second trimester

that watery discharge is normal I have it too. Today we were in a shop and I felt it go down, ended up even going to toilet in the shop to check what’s going on down there.
😅 soon I feel Ill be buying diapers for both me and the baby when it’s due 🤣

I am pregnant after secondary infertility (DS is 9) a very much wanted positive test surprised us after nearly 3 years last week when I was waiting for my IVF appointment booked for Jan 24th!

I am a bag of nerves and needed a vent/chat as haven’t told friends and family yet. I am at risk of ectopic due to floppy tubes found at a surgery I had in oct - so debating an early private scan

due September 21-23rd according to apps making me 4+2 weeks ish
I got my BFP 8DPO and digital at 9DPO x

Glad it's not just me! It's so unnerving 🤦🏽‍♀️

@rupertbear91 I did go to the docs about it but she didn’t think infection. Did get my wee tested and should get results tomorrow. It’s so gross! @Xur Whatever it is, is also giving me a heart attack when I feel it too! Cue 10203938 daily loo trips!
