Hello everyone just found out today I’m pregnant after 17 long cycles of trying. I’m 4 weeks and already so nauseous.

Hi Girls! Can I join too?

Congrats all on your BFP's!!!

After a million years trying and miscarriages along the way we finally have BFP (Christmas Eve 🥳 ) so so soooo bloody excited but equally nervous it's another none sticky baby.

Boobs feel like tonne weights and slight lower tummy cramps occasionally are my symptoms.

Hey congratulations 🩶

I'm so sorry regarding your miscarriages. I am really happy for you on your pregnancy. Its understable given what you have gone through.

That's exactly how my boobs feel😫I've not worn a bra all day just for some realise to see if it helps 😂yeah same with the cramps. I'm guessing all this are common symptoms

TallulahTaboo · 26/12/2023 20:35

@Jeyla1230 I got them at boots, think they were only a few pound or so. Most people use them for travel sickness so just be aware if you're wearing them people 'might' click on. I was pregnant during covid do thankfully didn't have to see anyone but also missed out on loads too. So similar to you (minus the birth) Will be semi new to be too!

@MudandMoet congratulations! You just feel so elated 🤍

Bearcub01 · 26/12/2023 20:38

@TallulahTaboo My DS will be 3 in March so we have similar age gaps!

Ah ok, I need to go boots in the morning so I'll see if I see them. Are they loose or can you tighten them? It's exciting isn't it? But also I'm so scared 😂

MudandMoet · 26/12/2023 20:41

@Jeyla1230 & @TallulahTaboo thank you ☺️

...definitely all common early symptoms, it's nice just to feel a bit of something so you know your body is changing. My boobs stopped hurting almost immediately on the start of my last MC so now I find myself nudging them to make sure they still hurt far more than is necessary 🤦🏼‍♀️

TallulahTaboo · 26/12/2023 20:46

@Bearcub01 aww lovely! Are you feeling any waves of guilt? I'm really panicking about how much time I can give two children and if my DS will cope with not having all our attention. Sounds so silly but really plays on my mind loads! 🙈

...you can probably all guess I am such an over thinker!

Bearcub01 · 26/12/2023 20:51

@TallulahTaboo Yes! I’ve been thinking about this and worrying that he will think a baby is the favourite if that takes up more attention! Last week before we even found out my MIL passed by a psychic, she shouted my MIL over and said that boy is going to love his sister immensely. Who knows if it’s nonsense or not but gives me a bit of comfort to think he will be fine!

Bearcub01 · 26/12/2023 20:59

@RoSco197 I’m up for a September Facebook group. We done this with my last pregnancy there was about 30 of us all due in the same month so was good to get the experience of others at the same stage and being a first time mum then it was good to get advice from mums who’d been through it all before

MudandMoet · 26/12/2023 21:23

Anyone else really thirsty? I'm not sure if it's in my head but I seem to be drinking loads (juice) 🤷🏼‍♀️

GHJ · 26/12/2023 21:30

@MudandMoet yeah I think so too! Seems to be balancing out with needing to pee lots too. I read somewhere that your blood volume increases by 50% in pregnancy so I guess need to drink more to provide this as well as all the peeing!

Anyone else had quite bad cramps? I think mine have been quite a lot worse than normal period at times. Doesn't seem to be one area in particular or anything but I am worried about ectopics etc. I've heard a few people having quite painful cramps early on and being fine but also obviously heard the other side too.

emmatcc1 · 26/12/2023 21:34

@MudandMoet Yess I need to have a glass full of cold juice at all times.

@GHJ I had quite painful cramps but they’ve gone now.

Great! I can look into how to get one set up (not done it before) and share a link on here for anyone who wants to join. Agree it was useful - also I’m a bit worried I’m going to be lonely with this pregnancy as I won’t have the same opportunities to meet mum friends as with my first. Going to be busy running around after a toddler! How old is your first?

GHJ · 26/12/2023 21:46

@emmatcc1 mine are generally getting less frequent but still getting a few twinges seems to be mostly when I exert myself, walking the dog etc where it seems sore

MudandMoet · 26/12/2023 21:49

@emmatcc1 phew, me too!
@GHJ that explains it 😁 I'm already up in the night at least once for a pee and apparently baby is around the size of a pin head so god help me as it gets bigger *touches wood

I'm sure you're all in the same boat, so much alcohol around and having to have juice! It'll be worth it for us all 🤞🏼

MrsB2019x · 26/12/2023 22:03

Hi everyone, mind if I tentatively join?

We got our BFP on Christmas Eve, so will be due roughly around 4th September. This will be baby #2, DD is 2 years old

Bit anxious already as I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2020 so just hanging around to see if this one is in the right place is nerve wracking! Should hopefully get a scan around mid January to check. Also all my symptoms seem to have disappeared already which is ramping up the nerves 🥴

Very up for a Facebook group, I’m in one from when I had my daughter and it was absolutely invaluable!

Congratulations to you all and here’s hoping for a happy and healthy 9 months for all of us 🤩

Bearcub01 · 26/12/2023 22:03

@RoSco197 He’s 3 in March. I’m hoping this time is better for us because everything was through Covid last time so didn’t get to do any of the usual stuff.

RoSco197 · 26/12/2023 22:39

Awh that is tough - I can’t imagine how difficult it would have been during Covid. Great age gap though - at least your first will be that bit older and hopefully able to help out in their own way!

Jeyla1230 · 26/12/2023 23:42

I just want to say thank you for being kind on here, I literally have only told you girls and one of my friend who kinda spoke about it. Its nice to not have to keep to myself

emmatcc1 · 27/12/2023 03:55

@Jeyla1230 Agreed. It very nice to have someone who can relate.
I just woke up to go pee and I’m so nauseous.

@Jeyla1230 It’s so good to have things like this. We haven’t told anyone yet but I’m dying to just tell someone! Because I had HG last pregnancy, I was so ill I ended up in hospital at 6 weeks so we had to tell people really early. This time I’m trying to wait a bit longer but we’ll see!

Bearcub01 · 27/12/2023 05:51

@emmatcc1 me too! But I have had some sort of cold for the past week so don’t know if it’s just that. I have this annoying dry throat that makes me gag but not sure if I can take anything for it. So scared to take anything incase it causes problems this early on. I plan on calling the doctor today to get set up with midwife appointments and see what they say about any medication for this cold and if o do get HG again

Fawklight · 27/12/2023 09:34

I've gone off food and feel a little ill.

Any ideas on food that's easy to eat and no dry. 😔

emmatcc1 · 27/12/2023 09:48

@Fawklight I’ve had an orange this morning that eased off mu nausea enough to eat something properly.
I just noticed I have a lot of cervical mucus.
