Couldn't help but comment on this thread as I had one of those "check your knickers each hour" days today.
Like zoerudy, I had a mmc at 12 week scan on 11th April. Have now had BFP for last 2 weeks and paranoid it's a false alarm. Could it still be hormone levels from mmc? Could it be that the ERPC didn't remove everything?
Saw GP last week and asked her and she said v unlikely to be false alarm and to go away and test again in a week(that'll be tomorrow then!) and if still BFP go back and see her.
Really trying to carry on as normal and not think about it but V difficult!

lackaDAISYcal · 03/06/2008 22:17

hi ses....I don't have any experience of mmc, or of conceiving quickly afterwards, but there are plenty on here who have so someone will be along soon to help you I'm sure.

You could always try the MC avengers thread (in conception I think) incase anyone there can help or give you some reassurance. the limbo and waiting must be horrible, but there are women on there who are going through it as well

fingers crossed for you.

Thanks Daisy. It's good to have mn to be able to get it all off my chest! I don't want to get DH too excited and I don't want to talk to my friends in case it becomes the drama of another mc or is a false alarm. Beauty of mn is that there's normally others out there that have had same / similar experiences.
Will let you know what happens tomorrow....

sweetkitty · 03/06/2008 22:21

Wow just loked at the updated list I'm getting too close to the top now

Great to see loads of my MC avengers buddies on here too, we all got there in the end. Can't believe it's been a year since we started ttc #3, got pregnant first month of ttc thought we were so smug getting our March baby and then it all went so wrong.

jules - aww your wee girl is just so comfy the right way up, was reading your other thread as well about her scratching you. I currently have a head bouncing up and down on my bladder making me need the loo every 5 minutes.

congratulations to all the newbies on the thread as well

elibumbum · 04/06/2008 09:15

Hello everyone.

Hope you are all feeling well today.

I'm 5wks today - why does the first trimester go so slowly! Have a scan booked for 6+6 so counting down the days to that!

Ses15 sorry to hear about your mmc. Did you have a negative test after your mc? I remember reading a few threads after my mmc about people who conceived before the first post mc period. Have you tried contacting the consultant that carried out your ERPC? Hope you get some reassuring news soon.

07mumstheword · 04/06/2008 10:43

Hi Sweetkitty remember me? I was due in March then June MC both but now due in Oct 20 wk scan next Tues so here's hoping all is ok Wow you're close to your due date now! I had a sneaky peak at your pics and your daughters are gorgeous.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

sweetkitty · 04/06/2008 14:07

07MTW course I remember you hope your 20 week scan goes well, come back and tell us how you get on.

tryingnottoobsess · 04/06/2008 14:25

Help. Just went to the loo and there was blood. Only a few drops, but bright red.

Have a scan booked for Tuesday anyway, so there's no point going to the GP, as they prob wouldn't get me in any quicker than anyway (maybe Monday but seems a bit pointless).

Rang DH and he said wait an hour or two, check again and if there's more, we'll try to get a private scan appointment (open til 9pm tonight, but don't know how busy they are). If clear, then he thinks wait till Tuesday.

It shouldn't make a difference, but I'm supposed to be going to Barcelona with my friend this weekend, and I don't want to let her down either.

In 2 minds as to whether to ring and just try to get a private appointment anyway, or wait a while like DH says.

Fuck fuck fuck. Sorry. I'm 7+5 by the way. What would you do?

tryingnottoobsess · 04/06/2008 14:36

anyone there at the mo? May cut & paste into a new thread to see if anyone is out there now....

lackaDAISYcal · 04/06/2008 15:21

Tryingnotto, sorry to hear that you've been bleeding . {{{{hugs}}}} to you.

From my own POV, I would try to get to the EPU or a private scan as soon as possible, but certainly before you go away this weekend. The last thing you want to be doing is worrying all weekend, or, perish the thought, things getting worse whilst you are away.

Take care.

Tryingnotto so sorry to hear you have had some bleeding. Are you likely to continue worrying over the weekend even if you don't find blood any more blood today? I know I would - and like daisy would probably try and get a scan asap.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

tryingnottoobsess · 04/06/2008 17:27

Thanks Eli and Daisy... still undecided. Rang the private place (just thought if they were full I'd be trying to make a decision over nothing anyway) and they said they could fit me in tonight, but they don't do antenatal on Thurs and Fri.

No more blood, which is good. Spoke to DH again, and he thinks it's more sensible to wait as it won't change the outcome anyway.

He wants me to have a nice weekend with my friend and if we have to deal with all the mc shit again, then why bring it forward if we don't need to.

My friend I'm going with is a doctor, and we both speak ok spanish, so I'm not over worried about getting out of my depth while I'm away.

I kind of agree with DH (God this makes me sound/feel so shallow) but obviously part of me would love to know now, especially if things are ok....

DH is ringing GP now for advice.

Ses15 · 04/06/2008 18:03

Tryingnottoobsess - Sorry to hear about the bleeding. I've got everything crossed for you that all's well. No one ever told me there was so much waiting and feeling in limbo involved in ttc!!! Try not to let it get you to frustrated.
I've seen GP today as another BFP this morning. I have a scan booked for next Wednesday when in theory I'll be approx 7+3. Yet more waiting then - yipee!!

barbareebaa · 04/06/2008 18:54

tryingnottoobsess hope everything is o.k.

barbareebaa · 04/06/2008 18:55

Congratulations Ses

07mumstheword · 04/06/2008 20:46

tryingnotto (((hugs))) so sorry about the bleeding but just a little and it has stopped sounds ok. What advice did your DH get from GP? If you've had bleeding they should sqeeze you into the EPU this week I'd have thought? I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you.

07mumstheword · 04/06/2008 20:47

Congratulations Ses

elibumbum · 05/06/2008 08:25

tryingnotto - glad to hear the bleeding has stopped. How are you feeling today?

tryingnottoobsess · 05/06/2008 09:19

we saw a heartbeat!!!!

After much flapping and indecsion, we got a scan at 9pm, and saw a little pulsating bean.

It was really overwhelming and we were both in tears. Yesterday I really thought it might be over, but wasn't ready to hear it. In the end we decided we had to face it anyway... and all was ok.

Thanks for your kind thoughts last night eli, 07mum and barbereebaa.

Congrats Ses, and welcome to the limbo!

jennylindinha · 05/06/2008 10:42

Morning All, haven't been on here for a little while... Great news Trying - I know what a relief it is to see the little bean and heartbeat if you have had the worry of an early bleed. Congratulations!

And congratulations to Ses too! Welcome to the waiting game but hopefully in a few weeks you'll feel more relaxed...

I've been for my 3rd scan (I'm 23 weeks!) and all is well! Baby was jumping around like a crazy thing and getting in awkward positions so they couldn't get all the measurements they wanted. I had to go and walk around for a bit and drink some water. Even then they still had to do lots of prodding but we got there in the end. Baby has long legs and a big head! So cute to see it bobbing about in there. We resisted finding out the sex, although they said they knew... Eek!

Feeling very excited about the baby now and although I still get paranoid if I don't feel it move much, the worry has subsided, so stay positive girls!

elibumbum · 05/06/2008 11:13

trying that is brilliant news I'm so happy for you! You can enjoy your weekend now

ses - congratulations on the bfp! Hope the scan goes well.

The waiting game drives me mad! I'm not a patient woman when it comes to ttc and pg! I have 12 days to wait until my scan.

Oblomov · 05/06/2008 17:20

Just touching base.
Haven't posted for a while.
