Couldn't see another and the old one is full. Will copy the list from the last one, the tags are really temperamental though and it definitely has quite a few people missing sorry 🙈

Just done a 30 min dog walk and Christ on a bike. Pain everywhere, so out of breath. With DD I was walking 5km a day and sorting horse out up until the day I went into labour!

Those 2 years since have done a number on me.

was talking to DH about sex and have given him permission to make a move Boxing Day evening just in case it helps the sweep the following day 😂. That gives me 6 days to work up the energy.

Salamander91 · 20/12/2023 17:02

Thank you everyone ❤️ I'm feeling pretty good. The c section went smoothly which was great because I was worried with it being my 4th. The postpartum sweats are grossing me out though 😂

HopeAndStrength · 20/12/2023 17:29

Congratulations @Salamander91 what a cutie!

Had my 34 week midwife appointment today, she struggled to figure out if baby is head down or not and said that I'll probably be referred for a scan if it's still unclear at my 36 week appointment.

Lightningrain · 20/12/2023 17:46

Congratulations @Salamander91, he’s gorgeous! Glad the section went smoothly and hopefully you’re not in too much discomfort now.

I seem to have an afternoon/evening every few days where I feel very bloated/refluxy and don’t fancy eating. I’m making sure I have something even if it’s just some fruit and yoghurt but it’s annoying to try and plan meals. I feel like I’ve gone back to first trimester.

A couple of people have said my bump looks like it’s dropped low but I definitely haven’t felt any different in terms of being able to breathe again and haven’t started waddling which a few people have said will happen. I’m getting a bit impatient now at 38 weeks but don’t really fancy being in hospital over Christmas.

Matildahoney · 20/12/2023 18:04

Congrats @Salamander91 he's gorgeous!

I've been given my induction date for 29th, but midwife thinks it may come early as it's in the right place and to do everything possible to help it along.
I'm sure I read orgasm's and nipple simulation, so doesn't have to be sex those that aren't feeling it! DP has been driving me mad saying no recently, tonight he's gonna get told if he doesn't do it then I'll do it myself 🤣 we did it quite a bit in the first and second trimester, but third has been lacking much to my disgust!

sashastuck · 20/12/2023 18:26

@Salamander91 beautiful baby boy, congratulations!❤️💙

@lucya66 that’s so so exciting! I think I read the lower the number, the more engaged baby is? So 1/5 would be very engaged. Someone feel free to correct me. At my last appointment baby was 4/5 and she said he was ‘just engaged’ so.

@Hummusanddipdip sounds like such a cute last day. My work did a little baby shower for me too, it felt so surreal, hasn’t sunk in yet that I don’t have to set foot in that place for a year!

anyone else feeling extra emotional? I’ve been feeling more anxious and sensitive last couple of days. Sent DP the wrong amount of money for the shopping, cried in the work toilet about it 😂

Dannic2018 · 20/12/2023 18:29

Aw congratulations @Salamander91 he’s beautiful and a good weight. Were the scans accurate?

Well if it helped labour with nipple stimulation I’d be in it as my ds still had boobs at bedtime 🤣🤣
Sex is a no, I’ve had thrush so much and tbh I’m too bloody tired
maybe I might before we have her as it’ll be 6 weeks or more if I have a section. Hubby is thankfully knackered too so he’s not had no interest really.

Also weighed myself today and since 8 weeks I’ve only put on 9lbs!! I’ve obviously lost weight with stress and not eating as much so my tummy is literally just baby. Still worries me that she will be smaller but that’s just me being silly

lilluce95 · 20/12/2023 18:31

@Salamander91 congrats!! He is gorgeous 😍 hope you're all well xx

LittleAlien24 · 20/12/2023 18:40

Congratulations @Salamander91 he's gorgeous. Good to hear your csection went well.

I had baby nonstress test and ob appointment this morning. Went in thinking I'll finally get my csection date for maybe around 10th of January but nope. She said i had 2 contractions that the machine registered and she's worried because I've had 2 csections previously. So back to hospital for another test and see her on 27th and if i still have contractions i will be booked for csection on 28th or 29th. She said she's quite sure im ok over the Christmas period but she's also confident that this baby will be born in December. She told me to make sure I've everything ready for him. So I've been panicking quite a bit now, im only 36+4 today and im still not all ready (his stuff and the house).

Gremlin84 · 20/12/2023 18:45

Another last day at work here! Feels so surreal.

Will now take it very easy to try to avoid Christmas baby as Friday = 37 weeks. Fingers crossed lateness runs in family though: I was late, my sister was late and my nephew was late. That’s got to mean a nice rest time pre baby right?!

Mummyme87 · 20/12/2023 18:58

@Inmydreams88 1/5 engaged is 4/5 out of the pelvis, so just at the brim. Midwives write it differently, I tend to write what I can feel so what is palpable.

buckingmad · 20/12/2023 19:19

Loads of pressure in my crotch and now having cramps every 10 mins or so.

I hate all this is it labour is it not! Wish you could take a test or something 😂

Luhou · 20/12/2023 19:36

@buckingmad ooh could be the start of things.

Congrats to those finished work. Felt great to leave the office for the last time! My house is a total tip so massive de cluttrring and organisation to do over the next few days!

Hopefully in time for a nice relaxing Christmas before a few weeks of chill time in the new year before baby arrives!

Flossiepot · 20/12/2023 19:40

Congratulations @Salamander91 - he's gorgeous!
With you all on the worrying and second guessing everything, hit 37 weeks yesterday and I swear I feel I'm having every bloody symptom at the moment 🙈 My stomach has been terrible these past few days and now pains too 😳
Just hoping he can hold in til Atleast Boxing Day 🤞🏼

Salamander91 · 20/12/2023 19:41

@Dannic2018 6 days ago he was estimated to be 7lb 9oz +/- 1lb so if you take the margin of error into account then it was pretty accurate lol I knew he would be closer to 9lb all my babies have been.

Ttcdcno1 · 20/12/2023 20:16

Anyone made part 10 yet?
