@Mushroo all lovely names. I have an Ivy so that's my favourite from your list!

Hummusanddipdip · 17/07/2023 20:35

I may have just done a happy fist pump for you @Mummyme87

I'm currently laying in bed with ds trying to get him to sleep (think we're on our 8th book since we came up here), he fell asleep in the car on the way home from nursery at 6, which would normally be fine because he's an easy move from car to bed, but dh got caught in the seat straps and nearly went flying with him and woke him up... so we're up til late tonight ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Ttcdcno1 · 17/07/2023 20:39

I will be getting all vaccines ๐Ÿ‘usually get the flu vaccine anyway because itโ€™s offered in school.

so interesting reading everyoneโ€™s feeding journeys! Iโ€™ve never had any interest in bf and still donโ€™t, Iโ€™ll be going straight to formula

RaspberryTime · 17/07/2023 20:42

All vaccines for me. I get the flu jab anyway as am asthmatic. And whooping cough is terrifying so Iโ€™ll be going there too!

FirstT1meMum · 17/07/2023 20:48

Another one that will be getting the recommended vaccines ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
I'm also going to be having the anti-d as I'm rhesus negative but heard that's a painful one ๐Ÿ˜–

It's so lovely to hear people's name choices (can't believe we're at that point!!)

DH and I started using the baby name app yesterday where you swipe on names you like and it creates a match list- so far we've only matched on girls names ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ™ˆ although we have discussed the name Oscar for a boy.

FirstT1meMum · 17/07/2023 20:48

Oops, hit send prematurely!

Favourite girls names so far are

FirstT1meMum · 17/07/2023 20:50

Ahhh sorry!!! ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

So far we like the girls names

Amelia
Sofia
Isabella
Bella
Daisy
Olivia

Mushroo · 17/07/2023 20:51

@Mummyme87 amazing!! Buzzing for you - itโ€™ll be so good!

Iโ€™ll be joining you on the anti d. I didnโ€™t need it with my first as the trust I was at tested my blood and could tell if baby was rhesus neg or pos and luckily for me she was neg! Have moved since and this one doesnโ€™t.

Noodle89 · 17/07/2023 21:40

All those names are lovely!!

Hubby and I can't agree on a boys name. I love the name Kylo for a boy. I'm hoping I can change his mind as I looked through 2000 boys names and only like this one ๐Ÿ˜„ I had Jaxon-wyatt stuck in my head for past year but now I think Jaxon has been over used (know so many at the school now) so want something different. There are soo many girls names that I like got a whole list of them that I can't decide which one I like most.. I already have 3 boys though so betting on another boy. My 3 are called Leo, Caelan (pronounced kay-len) and Harley.
Girls name I love are

River
Skyla
Nora
Nova
Myah
Raya
Nala

Matildahoney · 17/07/2023 21:44

@Bims2019 ah yay!! Team yellow!
My 16 week is also Weds! Can't wait!

MrsJ6921 · 17/07/2023 21:52

Iโ€™m all for the vaccines too!

We chosen Annabel and Theodore for our two names โ˜บ๏ธ

Noodle89 · 17/07/2023 21:59

Also will be getting the vaccines too. Had them with my other pregnancies so planning on the same this time

LittleAlien24 · 17/07/2023 22:18

@Luhou all my OH keeps suggesting is names from Star Wars ๐Ÿ˜‚
@Mummyme87 that's great news on tickets

Im not getting any vaccines and more than likely our baby won't either.
Ye all are doing well with choosing the names. I've my small list but OH hasn't started yet, think he's waiting until we know the gender. Well we did agree on middle name for a girl (my nannys name) but now he says he'd like to use it just as a name, no middle name.

Redpanda21 · 17/07/2023 22:22

Weโ€™ve not even discussed names! ๐Ÿ˜‚

lilluce95 · 17/07/2023 22:43

I'm loving these conversations lately!!

I've thought about names but nothing too serious really. I really like Arthur for a boy or Grace for a girl - my mind is changing every day at the minute though ๐Ÿ˜‚

I will also be going straight to formula feeding I think!

Salamander91 · 17/07/2023 22:50

Yay! @Mummyme87 ๐ŸŽ‰ I had presale access last week and managed to get tickets too ๐Ÿ˜

Salamander91 · 17/07/2023 22:51

Lots of lovely name choices on here. Its lovely we're getting past the anxious stage and into the excited planning stage.

lackingpatience · 17/07/2023 22:55

I downloaded the โ€œBabyNameโ€ app for fun, and it turns out whilst we agree on many
girls names, we have very few boys names. All the names I like my husband doesnโ€™t as they remind him of horrible boys from school ๐Ÿ˜…

Iโ€™ll get all the vaccines I can, but having had an almost fatal allergic reaction to the whooping cough vaccine as a child have been advised to avoid that one.

RG9895 · 17/07/2023 23:16

We have announced on socials tonight so now I dont feel scared about joining the Facebook group ๐Ÿ˜‚

Does anyone have the link please?

Firsttimerugbymum · 18/07/2023 07:03

Has anyone thought about a pregnancy pillow yet?

Very conscious I'm rolling into my back in the night and want to get out of the habit before it's an issue. Any recommendations?

Hummusanddipdip · 18/07/2023 07:25

https://www.facebook.com/groups/193148990356669/?ref=share here you go @RG9895

I haven't looked yet@Firsttimerugbymum last time I couldn't get comfy on the memory foam pillow so had that behind me and a cushion between my legs, however I think I'm going to invest in one of those wraparound ones that you can use as a feeding pillow? My cousin had one and said it was one of the best things she bought.

@Firsttimerugbymum I've had my eye on this one, but not bought yet. Seems to have good reviews without being too eye wateringly expensive. Also doesn't look too massive either as we have a small double so don't want it in the way too much!

FirstT1meMum · 18/07/2023 07:35

@Hummusanddipdip I was scrolling TikTok last night and thought of you ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ™ˆ

There was a teacher announcing her pregnancy to her class using a dictation activity - it looked so lovely! She dictated a jumbled up sentence 'Miss X a having is baby'

It was so lovely hearing when the children worked it out and being so excited ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ

sashastuck · 18/07/2023 07:40

Iโ€™m definitely going to order a pillow this week @Firsttimerugbymum! Canโ€™t get comfortable on my sides at all. Keep finding myself on my back ๐Ÿ˜ฃ
