@Redpanda21 hope all goes ok! I have seen baby twice too but have my 12 week scan tomorrow and it feels like a huge deal! Scanxiety so real!

Hi all, I've been lurking in this thread for a while but haven't posted anything yet as I had a few scares early on with bleeding and ended up having to visit the EPU three times, but I finally had my dating scan today and luckily all went well. It's my first and I'm measuring 13weeks + 1 day, so three days further than we thought. Is anyone able to take a guess at the nub theory from my scan? I've tried to work it out, but I must admit, I'm struggling...

Welcome and congratulations @88mummy. Loverly scan picture! I am no good at guessing either but somebody will be along with a theory in a minuite I'm sure!

I'm so sorry @ItsAJourney I've got my 12 week tomorrow and not had any scans yet, but the fact this pregnancy is totally different to my previous, I am so worried. Dh is like "you've only got this far once and that got ds, why would you not remain this time" I love his blasé attitude, but it doesn't help me...

@Dannic2018 the nub looks very horizontal compared to the spine, sent two friends the picture who both said the same thing independently which would mean girl. But I have two boys so going to assume boy 😅

Is anyone else waking up in the morning and feeling really dizzy lightheaded for the first few hours? I've been like it for the past week now. Yesterday was really bad, couldn't turn my head side to side too fast without wanting to fall over! Went to do the school run and gad to sit down when I got there because I was so dizzy

@Noodle89 I've been super dizzy the last couple of days! I'm 12+4, seems to be if I stand up too quickly (even though it's still slower than usual).

Anybody else got no appetite in the evening? I just don't feel like eating passed like 3pm. Generally just got no appetite.

Assuming I got a fresh delivery of hormones today because I have spent the last few hours crying at the most ridiculous things including a proposal video on Facebook and tiktok of Lady Gaga getting a very excited fan on stage to dance 😂 Absolutely ridiculous 🙈

I've been like this the last couple of nights! I tried to have a bigger lunch today to make up for it haha - I'm sooo hungry in the mornings though it's bizarre!

@Mummyme87 I don’t feel I can see the Nub on mine sadly but if my Ds who is 2.5 is right it’s a girl for us too as he keeps telling everyone I have a girl baby in my tummy ha ha. I got a reading off a psychic who said girl, ramzi theory said girl so as much as I think the skull looks boyish who knows. I’m happy either way but hubby would love a girl then he can get the snip 🤣

I’ve been getting a dull, heavy feeling in my left leg in bed. It’s not a cramp or a pain as such, but it’s just uncomfortable. Anyone else had anything similar? No idea whether this is pregnancy related or whether I just assume EVERYTHING is pregnancy related!

@Noodle89 I had something similar up until 12 weeks ish. I’d taken to getting ready for work sitting down which I hadn’t done for years!

This thread moves so quick. I’ve had a busy week and not been on so hope everyone is doing well.

I got a letter through about the blood and scan results from NHS. It was a far far lower probability than I expected. My son was low probability but this one was over a hundred times better than the odds he got. Given I’m now 37 and was under 35 with him I really didn’t expect it. I thought it would be the same or worse. So I feel I was hasty in paying for the NIPT as if I’d waited I wouldn’t have bothered with these odds but oh well it’s a good problem to have and more reassurance. We also found out we’re having another boy 😀! It’s strange to find out so early as last time we waited until birth. It’s probably good we find out now as last time we thought we were having a boy and were right whereas this time we were guessing a girl. I’ll need to start thinking of boys names. I find girls names more interesting.
