It's very early days but I suspect there are some new BFP's meaning we'd be due in February. I'm 4 weeks today so super early. Anyone with me? Has anyone got any early pregnancy symptoms?

Hey! I ovulated approx 24th May and got a VVVVVV faint positive the 3rd June. I’d had ‘cramps’ which were more twinges than period type cramps from the 31st but on Friday 1st I was hit with a metallic taste in my mouth which prompted me to test saturday 3rd however 3 more tests that day were negative. I tested Sunday PM with a digital because I was ridiculously bloated and 1-2 weeks! Period due this Wednesday. Don’t want to get my hopes up. My boobs are always sore from the day after I ovulate and acne too…still have these symptoms along with metallic taste. Don’t recall ANY symptoms with my 2 boys. How are you feeling? X

Sb444 · 05/06/2023 15:12

Congrats, I'm with you! 5 weeks tomo, no major symptoms so far just feeling tired!

Mangotango39 · 06/06/2023 12:32

Jumping on!
Strong positives yesterday and today (which had darkened) been to GP and organised blood test tomorrow.
They booked me in for 7 - 8 week scan on 29th June - wishing the time away now!!

current symptoms:

  • sore/hard nipples for the past week
  • hard breasts
  • shooting back pain/twinges
  • brain fog - I am making really silly and stupid mistakes the past 2 days!

wishing everyone the best!

Just over 4 weeks!
Sore boobs and tiredness so far!

Strawberry06 · 06/06/2023 13:49

5 weeks on Thursday! Found out on Sunday!

Nervous as I had a MC in January...

I've been feeling tired but not exhausted (could just be the birds waking me up at 4am!)
Boobs have started to feel tingley and heavy (though they were a lot more sore with the one I MC with)
Possibly feeling a bit nauseous but not sure if its cause I'm hungry all the time.
I've got constant back pain

Only thing I've really noticed is my food is tasting amazing. Like better than I ever remembered!

I've got the added complication of I've got BV & thrush but I'm seeing a NP tomorrow so ill tell her I'm pregnant and hopefully they'll sort me out!

Oh I should add I had some dark brown discharge in my knickers on Saturday, thought it was the start of my period (was due 1st) but nothing that's why I did a test on Sunday!

Daisydoo12345 · 06/06/2023 14:21

@Mangotango39 have they routinely booked you an early scan or is it for a reason? I haven’t had a baby for years so I feel completely new to all the appointments! Haven’t spoken to the GPs yet as technically I’ve not even missed my period yet. I have:

Metallic taste
Hunger
Flushed cheeks 🥵
Pains? Like not period pains but something niggling
Serious bloat! Look about 4months gone by night time

I’m O neg so worrying about that and also I had a tummy tuck at 23 after being ‘done’ with having kids 🙈 my 2 boys were 9lb 7 so seriously stretched my skin hence the TT. Not sure how this pregnancy will affect my stomach!

Daisydoo12345 · 06/06/2023 14:26

Oh and I also had gestational diabetes so that worries me too! I was 22 and about 8.7stone pre last pregnancy but 31 and 10.3 stone now so probably will end up diabetic again….

sorry - I’m rambling but starting to get more and more anxious

Mangotango39 · 06/06/2023 15:06

@Daisydoo12345 I am not actually in the UK , although I am English. An early scan is the norm here and they call it a dating scan . Although I would want one anyway due to previous MMC (x2 accidental pregnancies)

I am unsure the process of the uk - do they only do early scans for previous issues? 😮

ahhh the anxiety is the bloody worse!
I have pcos so worried about GD too - was it difficult?

Daisydoo12345 · 06/06/2023 15:47

@Mangotango39 ahhh I see! No they never did with my first pregnancies! The only issue I had with GD was big babies!

Pen40 · 06/06/2023 16:22

Hey, just wondered if I can join this thread
, I think I’m about 5weeks and not really feeling any symptoms so just keen to hear how everyone else is feeling!

Daisydoo12345 · 06/06/2023 16:24

The more the merrier! Congratulations!

Pen40 · 06/06/2023 16:28

Thanks @Daisydoo12345 😄

moosey89 · 06/06/2023 18:35

Hi ladies - I'm 4+3 today! Super anxious, last (and only previous) pregnancy was in 2019 and ended in mmc, so I'm just trying to get through things one day at a time. Because of my trauma response I've been referred to the specialist mental health midwives (didn't even know that was a thing!) so I should see one of them at my booking in appointment, if I get that far. xx

Daisydoo12345 · 06/06/2023 18:56

Congratulations 🎉 Fingers crossed for you🤞🏼🤞🏼 xx

Daisydoo12345 · 08/06/2023 08:56

How is everyone doing? X

Pen40 · 08/06/2023 10:13

Hey @Daisydoo12345 how are you doing?
I still don’t have any symptoms other than I’m tired … boobs were painful last night but not today… I think I’m 5 or 6 weeks (ish)
how about you? x

Mangotango39 · 08/06/2023 11:33

I have NC 😀
I think I am 4 weeks today - hcg results were 69 yesterday which would be only 13dpo. Retesting tomorrow . Tests still darkening .

I had abit of pink blood this morning for about an hour when wiping - not to heavy but I went into full panic crying and worrying but Dr has reassured me. Jeez I am in for a long ride being this anxious but I can't help it because of previous losses . 😕

I feel you with the previous losses! I both need scans for reassurance and at the same time am terrified of them because I had an mmc with my only other pregnancy. Just got to take one day at a time and hope for the best. If you like statistics, I found a website where you can put your info in, how far along you are etc. and it tells you the probability of a successful pregnancy. Every day the % gets that little bit higher x

Daisydoo12345 · 08/06/2023 12:01

I still feel the same as I did when I found out. I’m only 4.3ish weeks if I go off my last period (8th May, 31 day cycle). I’m sorry about both of your previous losses. I’m super anxious so can’t imagine how you both must be feeling. But positive vibes everything will be ok 🤞🏼 x

Mangotango39 · 08/06/2023 12:47

positive vibes your right

I keep saying 'nothings wrong until I'm told otherwise!'

Pen40 · 08/06/2023 14:07

I agree, we just have to think positive thoughts!

it just feels like such a long wait for the booking appointment and then you have to wait even longer for a scan. I’m not sure I can be that patient… I may book an early private scan because I don’t feel pregnant so I want some reassurance. I’m 40 so I’m conscious that I’m not a spring chicken!

Daisydoo12345 · 08/06/2023 14:20

It does but I keep trying to tell myself to just enjoy it and not rush time by 🙈 I just want to get to the stage of feeling baby move so I know it’s real 🙈 That is my favourite part of being pregnant x

Sb444 · 08/06/2023 14:29

Sorry to hear re losses, the anxiety at this early stage is already so high it must be so difficult, although as you say can only try your best to stay positive! This is my first so no idea what to expect I'm 5-6 weeks now, tired & sore boobs. Last 2 days I've started to feel a bit queasy which will not be fun to hide when I have to go into work! All tips welcome

Daisydoo12345 · 08/06/2023 16:15

Sorry @Sb444 i’m lucky enough to never have had sickness so I’m no help
