It's very early days but I suspect there are some new BFP's meaning we'd be due in February. I'm 4 weeks today so super early. Anyone with me? Has anyone got any early pregnancy symptoms?

@moosey89 that's great! Seeing it rise definitely eases anxiety 😊

moosey89 · 11/06/2023 17:26

@Mangotango39 thank you. Next test should arrive Tuesday so results Thurs/Fri and I'm expecting to get a booking appointment shortly after that. I've only had one pregnancy which ended in MMC so I'm super paranoid!

Hello, can I tentatively join also? Got a positive today, after being a day or two late for my period. Took an insensitive supermarket test really just to rule out pregnancy, as didn't think I was! I had some light brown spotting a few days ago, so just seeing how things go, as previously when I had this it was a mmc.

Hope you're all okay and having a good weekend

@moosey89 that's great hcg numbers, congratulations. Hopefully it has lessened the anxiety. 🥰
I wish I could check my blood levels but I live in New Zealand and GPS won't test if no current bleeding even then most would tell you to wait it out.

moosey89 · 11/06/2023 19:40

@Kiwiburgh thank you! This was actually a home blood test that I bought privately as where I am in the UK what doctors do varies and we don't really get bloods etc unless there's something wrong (outside of standard maternity process).

Mangotango39 · 11/06/2023 22:46

@Kiwiburgh that's interesting . I'm aus and they were pretty happy with testing .
Just want the 29th to hurry up for my scan!!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 congrats and welcome. what dpo was the brown spotting? Could well have been implantation . This is what I had.

DmcinT · 12/06/2023 06:26

Morning all, huge congrats on all the bfps ❤️ I got a vv faint line Friday (11 dpo) that darkened over the weekend and I did a clear blue digi and got 1-2 weeks this morning (due af today)

feeling excited but a bit nervous after a MMC with triplets at 11 weeks at the end of March this year. I’m going to ring dr today and see what they recommend. Ideally I’d like hcg bloods to see is it rising too fast incase it’s another multiples. Symptoms wise I have quite a big bloat in my lower tummy but I was big with the triplets so I’d say it’s easily stretched back out again. Boobs also tingly

Hope everyone is feeling good ❤️🥳

Mangotango39 · 12/06/2023 07:07

@DmcinT so so sorry to hear about your triplets.

your in good company here as lots of us have sadly suffered MC so all very nervous and anxious . It's so tough not to fear the worse.

but all the positive vibes!!!
i said above definitely knowing my hcg rise helped my anxiety!

DmcinT · 12/06/2023 12:56

Thanks for the warm welcome @Mangotango39 ❤️🥰

when is everyone’s due date? @Hrps @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 @Daisydoo12345 @Kiwiburgh @Strawberry06 @Sunshineclouds11 @moosey89

I’m February 19th so we realised if I went over it could be a leap year baby (feb 29th😂)

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 12/06/2023 13:04

@Mangotango39 thank you! I had spotting on 8dpo and 13 dpo. Was yours similar?

I just took a Boots Early test at 15-16 dpo and have a line darker than the control. I'd love to know my levels like you. I might try and sort a private blood test if I get a lull in my work day. Must be nice to see rather than peering at sticks!!

@DmcinT nice to see you over here also!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 12/06/2023 13:06

@DmcinT I think the 16th Feb, however I get GD, so my son was induced 3 weeks early

Daisydoo12345 · 12/06/2023 13:07

@DmcinT I think (or hope) mines Feb 14th because a V day baby would be special x

Strawberry06 · 12/06/2023 13:19

@DmcinT I've worked out I'm due 8th February - could easily be a v.day baby! I'm just thinking the baby I lost around the same time this year is watching over us both 😊

moosey89 · 12/06/2023 13:47

@DmcinT 11th Feb if my dates are correct. Honestly can't even think that far ahead tbh. I am having to take it one day at a time after my MMC. I still can't imagine a pregnancy actually working out for me, it's really tough going :(

Sunshineclouds11 · 12/06/2023 13:57

10th Feb I'm working out!

Sorry about your triplets ❤️

Strawberry06 · 12/06/2023 14:09

@moosey89 I feel the same at the back of my mind, its so horrible😓Are you going to have an early scan?

Mangotango39 · 12/06/2023 14:23

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7
9dpo - pink spotting for a few hours
10dpo - brown spotting when wiping

14dpo - pink when wiped twice across one hour (this one really scared me! Hoping was just getting super snug in my lining 😄)

moosey89 · 12/06/2023 14:29

@Strawberry06 yeah I think so. Although the idea of going to a scan is also terrifying me. Not sure what I'll do if I hear the worst at a scan again...it's so hard! I'm trying to just take it a day at a time but I'm finding myself wishing the next 6 months would just disappear and I could be at 24 weeks as that's the only time I think I'll start to feel secure at all....

Strawberry06 · 12/06/2023 14:35

@moosey89 I totally get it I'm the same. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and the thought of another 6 weeks until I get to 12 weeks, I dunno how I'm going to cope. My MMC started 17 days after I found out I was pregnant last time so 21st June will feel like a milestone to me - its also the longest day! 😅

I've thought long and hard about having an early scan but decided against it. I just feel if I was to have the scan and all is well then something go wrong after that somehow I'd feel more devastated. Whatever will be will be is the way I'm looking at it.

moosey89 · 12/06/2023 14:40

@Strawberry06 how far along were you when you discovered your mmc? Yeah I'm 6 weeks Saturday and I haven't got a clue how I'm going to last 🙈

I had an early scan last time around 7 weeks which showed everything was fine. Next scan at 10+4 was when I found out about my mmc. I felt in my gut something was wrong even though I didn't have any outward signs, so whilst it was devasting it wasn't a shock. I'm definitely one of these people who would prefer to know earlier than later if that makes sense.

Strawberry06 · 12/06/2023 14:50

@moosey89 I was 7+5 so nearly 8 weeks. I was meant to have my booking in appointment with the midwife the day I went in to have my scan for them to confirm I'd had a MMC. But I already knew cause I'd started bleeding and cramping days before that.

It sounds terrible but I also expected I'd miscarry. Nothing in my life ever seems to go right first time! We had to pull out of our first house purchase cause husband lost his job, our wedding was postponed twice cause of the pandemic so I always said to myself if I ever got pregnant I'd probably lose it. Husband thinks I'm pessimistic but if I expect the worse I can cope better.

Though all that said, I do believe our angel is watching over me and this baby.

moosey89 · 12/06/2023 14:56

@Strawberry06 I know that feeling! I'm glad you feel your angel baby is looking out for you this time though 💕 I'll keep everything crossed for a healthy pregnancy for you x

Strawberry06 · 12/06/2023 14:57

@moosey89 and likewise for you 🤗

DmcinT · 12/06/2023 15:30

Ah it’s lovely to see some of the same names from ttc threads on here ❤️ Hi to everyone

@moosey89 @Strawberry06 I completely understand the worry. I’m really trying to tell myself to be positive and this is a brand new pregnancy and this wee baby deserves its mammy to feel excited about them growing and coming into the world. I know it’s easier said than done but I’m trying 🙂

we also go on holiday next Wednesday for 3 weeks so there’s very little I can do before that as I’ll not even be 6 weeks and then I’m nearly 9 by time we are home so maybe that’ll be a good distraction. I would love to know if it’s 1, 2 or 3 babies this time though so I’ll see what the dr can do for me before we go.

@Mangotango39 sorry to hear abt ur spotting even though it’s completely normal I can imagine it was a worry at the time, hope it’s settled now?

Strawberry06 · 12/06/2023 15:36

@DmcinT you've definitely got the right attitude and I'm so sorry about the loss of your triplets - I can't even comprehend what losing 3 must have been like.

We're also on holiday at the end of June - its actually my birthday. I love that I've discovered this pregnancy in my birthday month 😊 Its really weird you know but at some point last year (can't remember when) I did one of those stupid quiz's on FB 'when will you get pregnant?' and it came up with June 2023! Of course I took no notice at the time lol
