[Hrps]

It's very early days but I suspect there are some new BFP's meaning we'd be due in February. I'm 4 weeks today so super early. Anyone with me? Has anyone got any early pregnancy symptoms?

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thanks for sharing - when did you start the acupuncture in your pregnancy? Thursday when I go , I shall be 5 weeks so hoping I'm not too late.

last time I did not spot at all and this time I did - so I've convinced myself it's gotten more snug then previous 😁

@Mangotango39 no I don't think it's too late! I had fertility acupuncture because my periods went haywire after a miscarriage. Then just continued it each month for the first trimester.

I just sent off my second home HCG blood test. Results in a couple of days, so my anxiety is going to be high but I'm a fan of knowing what's going on!

2nd baby (1st who is only 6m) ... heads been in a spin the last week wondering how I'm going to cope with 2 under 2 ... nonetheless; I hope my little bean sticks.

Aw 2 under 2 is a lot but I've got tons of friends who have had that same situation and once you settle in to it it will still be tiring, but will become second nature! Plus it will be nice to have kids close together in age as they get older 😄 Hope you have a sticky little bean!x

Hoping they will be the best of friends etc ... already feeling guilty about it though, it's so strange, I don't want to miss anything with my DD, don't want her to feel pushed out or anything like that, and want her to have me whenever she needs me, she's like my best friend & I don't want that to change - guess I'm just worried about everything right now 😅
Hopefully I'll calm down in the next few weeks.

@Ch49091 just catching up ! oh man, I discovered already that everything is done digitally using my care , the midwife’s have moved and basically there are no longer really any baby groups etc. cuts to funding and affects of covid so I’m a bit worried this pregnancy might be a bit isolating I don’t know. It’s all very strange. I was looking at baby formula the other day, £5 more then when I used it 😅 making the decision to bottle feed with this one. I had a time breastfeeding with my others . I’ve come to realise it’s not worth the stress 😅 my mind seems to be racing about one topic to the other 😂

heats been horrible. Hope all you ladies are coping ok. I just pushed myself to get dinner cooked and done and now I’m ready to crash. The thought of getting the other two to bed is exhausting as they won’t sleep for at least another two hours. Could I just go to bed and hope for the best? 🤣

Have you all registered with the midwife yet?

I'm approaching 6 weeks this weekend but feeling pretty nervous 🙈

@SnowyNoey the heat has been a killer, we are going on holiday next week and im thinking im going to really struggle in much warmer weather/climate than this 🙈 if I was u I’d head to bed for a nap urself and hope for the best 😂

@Sunshineclouds11 so interesting how other countries do it.
I've got my 7 week scan booked and then referral for my 12 week ready to book afterwards (all being straight forward!) and then a harmony test for 10 weeks to get for down syndrome , sex etc.

no idea when I'll get to chat to a midwife 😮

@Sunshineclouds11 I haven't registered yet ither. I'm only 4+3 but I probably should before the midwife I want gets fully booked.

@SnowyNoey yeah it's all different now, makes me feel even more nervous! I called my gp to see how it's done and they said I have to self refer to the midwife so I've done that and just have to wait for a letter to come through now about my first appointment. It's starting to feel real but I half expect my period to come every time I go to the toilet!
Do any of you ladies know of any tiktoks or websites or anything that can help with preparation? You know things like hospital bags and post natal care at home and stuff? Even stuff for DH, it'll be his first and I need to prepare him 😂😂. He hasn't got a clue bless him! Told him I'd really need more help than he thinks and told him to be prepared as I had SPD with my last one so that's really worrying me

Also...how is everyone feeling and coping in this heat? Are you all doing ok and keeping safe and hydrated?

@Ch49091 It's winter where I am and I said I'd try not to ever get pregnant in summer here. However, February is the hottest month and often has 40 degree days . Thank god my house has aircon but I am not sure about the hospitals 🙃

@Mangotango39 and here's me worrying about New Zealand summer lol 🙊 I think I'd die in 40 degrees!

How's everyone feeling? I was 6 weeks yesterday and had a bit of a down day as I have terrible cramping in my lower back 😑Even had to put a hot water bottle on it. Hoping its just my body getting ready but the anxiety is real!

@Kiwiburgh I really want to try breast feeding but the thought of the sweat - oh no - panic!

I just got my hcg levels back and wow they seem to be really spiking!!
69 Wednesday (13dpo / 3 + 6 weeks)
214 Friday (15dpo / 4 + 1 weeks)
1510 Tuesday (19dpo / 4 + 5 weeks)

@Ch49091 not coping. I seem to be suffering from nausea/sickness/insomnia :(

I hope it gets better and you are all coping ok. I don’t have an appetite but if I don’t eat I get very dizzy but when I do eat I feel sick and ready to sleep. Yay 😂
have a holiday booked for just me and my two kids end of august in Spain too I’m worried 😅

@Mangotango39 did you have to pay privately for a 7 week scan? I am waiting until I get close to 7 weeks before I book a private reassurance scan, as I feel like I'm tempting fate if I book it early! Stupid I know, but I'm so paranoid over everything.

@Strawberry06 How are the cramps today? I know some cramping is normal, but it can be so stressful! If it carries on, give your midwife phone line a call and see if they can help reassure you x

@moosey89 still there a bit but I'm managing to sit at work. I'm hoping I will hear from the midwife today for my booking in appointment so I will mention it.

@Mangotango39 Ahh no, hopefully the hospitals have air con! At least the first trimester is in the winter, hopefully the heat isn't too unbearable in the third! You'll need one of those hand held fans with you all the time but not sure how they'd help in 40 degrees, it sounds horrendous, I feel for you!

@Strawberry06 I'm ok, starting to feel a bit queasy but not sure if it's the heat or all in my head as I'm only 4+1 today. Hopefully the cramps are nothing to worry about, I think they're normal at this stage but deffo contact midwife just to be on the safe side and for peace of mind!

@SnowyNoey Ahh no, I'm so sorry to hear that you're so nauseous! Especially in this heat, I feel for you 😞 at least you have a lovely holiday with the kids coming up, bet they're well excited - I know it's easier said than done as pregnancy as a whole is super anxiety inducing but try not to worry too much and stay positive (said the pot to the kettle 😂). Fingers crossed your nausea and sickness dies down by then

im from Ireland and we’ve been having 25-30 degree (scorching hot for us) days for the last month.. I’m definitely not built for the heat. I’ve been feeling a bit nauseous but also hungry 😂 the last few days but I’m only 5 weeks max so it’s early for that to be starting.
