It's very early days but I suspect there are some new BFP's meaning we'd be due in February. I'm 4 weeks today so super early. Anyone with me? Has anyone got any early pregnancy symptoms?

@acm1996 I never had any symptoms with my first and have no symptoms in this pregnancy either

@GeriatricMumma Sounds like a good plan. I still have high hopes as it seems the pregnancy has progressed.

@Strawberry06 yh when I had my first there were 5 pregnancies in the family. I got told my baby wasn’t growing properly and honestly was so stressed out. Felt like I’d be the only one with no baby at the end. So I totally understand where you’re coming from

@acm1996 oh great news! Congratulations! I have my scan tomorrow where I will be 8 weeks and I am definitely feeling a bit nervous with not many extreme symptoms so this is very reassuring to hear. Xxx

Question for those who have had scans. I'm having a scan at 6+3 tomorrow. I haven't been given any specific instructions. I'm assuming because it's early that it will be vaginal. Do I need to drink loads of water, or is that just for abdominal scans?

@MrsW9 think that is just for abdominal scans. Not sure there is anything you need to do for an internal scan.

I assumed mine would be internal but it was an abdominal one.
I was told to drink pint of water half hour before app

I can’t get over how bad my skin is this time around ! My skin was immaculate in my first pregnancy but right now it’s like every single pore on my face is turning into a cyst…

@User0224 my skin is horrendous too! I swear people can tell I'm pregnant just by looking at my face. My skin is usually pretty clear so it's obvious there is something hormonal going on!

😂 honestly I look like a teenager right now. And sadly all the strong skin products are off limits!

Usually, they will try an external scan first in which you need a full bladder. If they can't see enough detail, they'll ask you to pop and do a wee then do an internal scan x

Hi all, back from my scan and I can honestly say this is the first time during this pregnancy I've felt genuinely overjoyed without being overshadowed by worry. I've been up since 5 nervous and praying for good news.

It went great, I was 6+3 2 weeks ago today and am now dated 8+4. Everything looking the way it should and got to see the little heartbeat, limb buds and see him/her wriggling around in there. Also got some lovely pics. It finally feels real.

My scans up to now have been with the NHS so I might book a private one somewhere in another 2 weeks time just for my own reassurance. Best of luck to all the other scans x

Lovely news @Meeting, delighted for you. Good luck to everyone getting scans! I have one booked for 17th July, just seems like forever away at the moment. I haven't posted a lot as I'm very nervous and anxious. Just can't shake the feeling, hopefully Monday week will some around fast and it'll be good news.

Thank you all for good wishes - I also had a reassuring scan this morning, so fingers crossed all will continue to go well. Still no idea what is causing the bleeding, hopefully it will resolve itself!

I've spent the morning in the early pregnancy unit, I've had cramping and bleeding all morning.
They saw a yok sack that measured about 5 weeks (I calculated I'm at 6) but nothing else. Now on a 2 week wait for another scan. Feeling very deflated!
