It's very early days but I suspect there are some new BFP's meaning we'd be due in February. I'm 4 weeks today so super early. Anyone with me? Has anyone got any early pregnancy symptoms?

@DmcinT I haven't! Going to ring DR today to get sorted.

I'm from the north east! we're also having a scorcher, we are used to rain haha

@DmcinT I'm from south east England. Only about five weeks max also and feel tired and a bit queasy. @Strawberry06 I have back ache also.

moosey89 · 14/06/2023 10:49

@DmcinT Surrey, South East England. I'm somewhere in the 5 weeks, will be 6 weeks Saturday going by LMP.

Hrps · 14/06/2023 10:50

I'm from rural Buckinghamshire, it's a pretty place to live for sure.

I'm really struggling with either an overwhelming amount of nausea or absolutely nothing at all there is no in between for me at the moment. Im really hoping it's not my body playing horrible tricks on me and that everything is going ok. I've got an early scan this weekend so 🤞I can see a heartbeat then.

How's everyone else feeling?

Hello - joining please.
I got my BFP a few days ago. Congratulations everyone.
Has anyone set up a Facebook group yet? If not, would you like me to?

Mangotango39 · 14/06/2023 11:13

@moosey89 not private - this is standard in my area then another at 13 weeks. They just call it dating scan. Weirdly I think I have to pay for my 20 week (or some of it!)

@Ch49091 last summer was actually mild so hoping for the same but got the humidity towards March is killer!!

@DmcinT I'm Perth australia but I am English 😊
also sick but hungry . Usually around 1/2pm!

Mangotango39 · 14/06/2023 11:13

@Hrps how exciting send you best wishes for your scan!

Hankthehonk · 14/06/2023 12:01

@DmcinT I'm in the West of Scotland! Scorching here too and we are definitely not used to it. I love the sun but it's an effort keeping my dog and toddler cool enough whilst also battling nausea

SnowyNoey · 14/06/2023 12:14

@Ch49091 thank you 😊 I’m sure it will get better.

@DmcinT from East Devon. It’s ridiculous here. I live about ten mins walk from a beach though so might try and get myself in the water later!

the problem in the UK is we don’t have aircon as a norm. This would help 😂

poppychunks · 14/06/2023 13:56

Hello everyone,

Can I join in? I think I'm 3weeks +5. Due date is February 23 ish. From the Midlands in the UK.
Feeling mostly okay, just quite lightheaded and sore boobs. Little bit worried at how little symptoms I have but hopefully it's just because it's early. The tests keep getting darker so hopefully will keep going.

Mangotango39 · 14/06/2023 13:57

@SnowyNoey yes it really is a different type of heat because the uk just isn't made for sun (same when a cold snap happens here - just not set up that way and most homes don't have heating!)

I do feel for people coping !

DmcinT · 14/06/2023 14:39

Aw it’s lovely to see all the different parts of the world everyone is from ❤️ Similar to Scotland @Hankthehonk im from the very north of Ireland (not Northern Ireland) and we are used to highs of maybe 15-16 degrees with lots of wind and rain so 30+ degrees is just a killer, I don’t know how to keep myself cool🙈

aircon would be amazing but sadly @SnowyNoey its not a thing that exists here either, I’ve just been spending as much time at the beach as I can, even that was too warm today lol
the only thing I’m telling myself is when we get to even 4/5 months we’ll be coming into autumn and hopefully much cooler temps for the hardest months 🤞🏽😅

moosey89 · 14/06/2023 15:00

@SnowyNoey that's what I always say! It's not the temperature as such that's the problem, it's that our infrastructure isn't built for it haha

I just got my booking appointment through... and it's a day I'm away with work, doh! Really pleased with how near in the future it was (6 July) so hopefully won't be more than a week after that for the rescheduled date.

Strawberry06 · 14/06/2023 15:04

@Sunshineclouds11 I'm in the North East too!

Just had my call from the midwife to book in and she'd coming round on 27th June - I didn't realise they come to your house!

moosey89 · 14/06/2023 15:10

@Strawberry06 yes mine too! Last pregnancy I had to go to the hospital (was a different NHS trust though, perhaps different places do things differently!)

Must be a new thing as I had to go to the GPs with my first.

I also had to log my own pregnancy 🙈 on a website and the midwives get in touch.

@GoneAway227 i don’t have Facebook anymore but I do have the messenger app, wonder can I join in from it or do u have to have a profile on fb?

GoneAway227 · 14/06/2023 19:24

@DmcinT
I honestly have no idea! I guess try via messenger and see what happens? I think you have to have a profile though 🤷‍♀️

GoneAway227 · 14/06/2023 19:27

@DmcinT

Just googled and I don't think so sadly.

You can join as a "page" e.g. if you have a business page on FB, but otherwise you have to have a profile.

DmcinT · 14/06/2023 19:39

@GoneAway227 aw ur so good for checking, I’ll make up a blank one to join in ❤️😅

Sunshineclouds11 · 14/06/2023 19:45
