Been off the radar last few days as my nausea is through the roof. Feeling really fed up. I had phoned the doctors but I’m at my mums for a few days and signal is non existent here so didn’t get to speak to anyone.

Really hoping this lets up soon as opposed to the 16 weeks with my first 😭

@Eirlys1986 she just asked if there was a reason why I was driving with those knowing eyes, I told her, no point in lying 😬

@ItsAJourney I’m 6+4 by my dates. Time currently feels like it’s dragging

😂 @Mummyme87 , it’s really difficult when someone just seems to know isn’t it?
I actually ended up telling the surgery accountant the other day of all people! He kept mentioning the financial fall out of my first mat leave and how complicated it all is and then when I had my private meeting with him said “now, I’m assuming you have no more leave planned” before doing a run down of projected finances. I just thought at that point it was easier to just tell him or else our meeting about my tax etc was a bit useless as being off as of jan is going to affect things now. So as of now me, my partner and the accountant know 😆 ….how magical

@Eirlys1986 😂😂 bet he was delighted! Not! My manager knows we’ve been trying and constantly says things like, you can’t have one yet we’ve got no staff etc etc, I’ll need to tell her soon if she hasn’t worked it out already. She asked me the other day why I was so off 🫤 it’s forward planning stuff for her, knowing that come Christmas I won’t be in the rota (all being well). A few of my good friends know I’m pregnant as they all knew I’ve been ttc for so long. I’m going to tell my mam this week when she comes down, I’ve got a scan on Thursday so may try and wait until then. After I’ve had that scan, if all well I’m happy to share with wider friends and family

Hi guys - new here ❤️
I am somewhere between 8-9 weeks and have conflicting due dates as i know the date we conceived and when my last period was so all the apps, nhs website etc tell me I’m due on the 31.12 (which would make me 9 weeks today) but my 8 week scan put me at 8 weeks today so I’m slightly unsure what’s right and wrong - could the scan date be wrong ?

feeling all the nausea, extreme tiredness, sore boobs the lot - hope it eases soon as I’m going on holiday tomorrow 😩

I think you're best going with your scan date. Mine is the same. Period due date is 27th Dec but scan due date is 10th Jan which I know is right as I tracked everything and can tell by my tests but I have very irregular periods and I ovulated 2 weeks late.

Feeling all the same here too! Constant nausea even through the night!

@Mummyme87 yeh I’m feeling pretty worried about telling the other partner and manager as it was pretty rough for them when I was off last time 😞. Just found out from OH that one of his friends who has just had a second baby seemed to guess straightaway when OH was asking him how they’re adapting to 2 kids under 2 at home. So he just confirmed it to him and told him to keep quiet 😆

Thank you all so so much for your well wishes and support! It went absolutely amazingly! Little bean has a really strong heartbeat and is measuring 7W 5D so pretty much where I thought. Everything looks good so hopefully now get through these next 4ish weeks and see little one grow! 🤞❤️

Had a scan this morning too! All well, strong heartbeat, measuring 7w1d so a day behind what I thought but it was such a relief seeing that little heartbeat flickering away on the screen 🥹🥰

Glad scans all went well for people today 😍I had my booking appointment this morning - it was actually quicker than I was expecting.

Gosh, I’d forgotten how all consuming the exhaustion can be in these early days. I’m absolutely shattered.

Thanks @FirstT1meMum, it went well. The worst bit was the SIX phials of blood they took considering I’m really bad with blood tests 😫

Hi hope everyone is doing ok, I’m 7 weeks today suffering really bad from bloating and constipation it’s really uncomfortable trying to increase fibre water etc. just wondering if anyone else has had quite extreme bloating?

@Niam4 yup, my digestion is messed up. So so constipated. I’ve tried upping fruit and fibre and nothing was working.

I had to have a ‘proper’ coffee this morning (otherwise I’ve been completely off caffeine) and it’s the only thing that’s worked.

Not sure if that’s recommended but I stayed within the NHS caffeine guidelines and I feel much better.

Ive also heard kiwis are good so going to stock up with week.
