@Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese I had brown spotting last night and this morning too, I've already called EPU and going for a scan this morning, but I had a MC in feb so I'm def wanting to be checked out though I know it might be totally normal...

@suz2285 really hope your scan goes well. @Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese I think always worth trying to get things checked out if you’re worried, hope if you do that it goes ok too.

I was up all last night being sick. Every 20 minutes! I don’t think I’ve ever been so sick! I’ve managed a banana and a handful of shreddies this morning but I’ve had to call in sick to work (never had to do that with morning sickness before). Not sure how much of this I can take!!

@Panapan you poor thing sounds rough! How many weeks are you?

@Panapan 😢 oh no, that sounds absolutely awful I’m sorry. I hope you find some relief today, perhaps ring GP to see if you can get anti sickness if not done so already? Or ginger capsules from boots? How many weeks are you now?

9 weeks today. My sickness has been pretty mild with my other pregnancies - this feels like it’s come out of the blue. I have 3 boys - it will be interesting to see if the old wives tales are true - maybe a girl this time (or twins??).

@Panapan that sounds absolutely awful, I hope that was a one off! Bless you, rest up today and I only hope it gets better.

I haven't had anymore spotting since this morning, so I'm going to just keep an eye on every toilet visit and see how I'm feeling as all the cramping has gone. I'll give the epu a call if there is anymore blood or pain.

Am I being sensible?

@Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese I almost didn't call EPU either as I know it can be totally normal at this stage, it's really up to you, if you're feeling ok and it's not progressing it'll likely be absolutely nothing to worry about... it's so hard to tell at this stage! If you want to call them just for advice they're very helpful though

@Mammaof02 Amazing! How are you feeling? Are you going to get an early scan?

@Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese i had brown spotting / discharge for 2 days last week but no pain. I went privately for an early scan which showed I was 7+1 and all was well. It has started again this morning ffs. Trying not to worry as it is same as last week and I will keep an eye. If you are worried get checked out, it was great just to get some reassurance x

@Luhou ah yes- beige and salty things were a favourite in my first pregnancy and appear to be rapidly making a reappearance. I am just preparing meal number 2 of the day now 😂… elevenses, just like a hobbit

I am the same with the nausea I can’t wait for night to come most days as it’s the only time I get some relief. Although I have to count myself lucky so far only one day of actual vommiting. Just wondering if anyone has found ginger supplement etc to actually work?

All ok at my scan thank god, baby measuring a few days ahead and has a good strong heartbeat, she said not to worry unless I had any further red bleeding but brown is mostly nothing to worry about 🤞🤞

@Eirlys1986 I’m good thanks, have a scan tomorrow. The nausea and tiredness is really taking it out of me. Have vomited twice this morning and just feel sick again. Need to tidy the house up the. Get to King’s Cross to pick my mam up from the station, with the kids in tow. The eldest is very suspicious, he saw an update on an app on my phone and questioned me on it… now is staring at me all the time and thinks I’m hiding stuff 🫤 wasn’t planning on telling him until after my 12week scan

@Eirlys1986 same here. Big fat ham and cheese sandwich before 12 oclock 🙈

@Luhou @Eirlys1986 I second (third) that. My toast for breakfast has been my favourite meal of the day and now I’m eyeing up some instant noodles even though I’m going out for lunch at 2:30…. Someone stop me!!

Lol you guys, I'm the same constantly having to snack! Was out to EPU and didn't take any food, on the way home went via Tesco and had to have a drink in the car, just ate lunch now but now I'm full and still feeling sicky, as soon as my stomach feels like it's getting empty I start to feel yuck again... I'm basically grazing constantly at this point!

I'm so tired now, didn't sleep very well last night as I was a bit worried, working from home today so might sneak an afternoon nap 😂

@Luhou sounds delicious!- a piece of toast/sausage and beans here! 🙈….I’m already hungry again
@Mummyme87 ahhh sounds like the kids onto you! Do you think you’ll tell then earlier now to quell the suspicious looks?

@suz2285 so pleased your scan went well. Hope you can take it easy this afternoon. I am counting down the hours until I am horizontal on the sofa watching location location location and DD is asleep in bed!

So pleased to see everyone's scan are going well.
I'm just plodding along feel very tired and occasionally sick I'm 6weeks tomorrow and if I remember rightly it was 6 weeks sickness made an appearance first time around....
I've lost track a bit on the thread but when did everyone's sickness seem to kick in?
Apart from being tired I don't feel like I have any symptoms and as much as I don't want sickness I do just feel normal lol x

@stressshead so glad I'm not the only one who doesn't really feel anything! I had a couple of afternoons last week where I felt queasy but I think that was smell induced! Other than napping for like 2 hours every afternoon I feel fine! I'm 8W+1 and wishing I felt more pregnant 😔

@FirstT1meMum I wouldn’t worry too much about not feeling lots. I am only minor my queasy when I haven’t eaten basically and in my first pregnancy continued to just have the same thing but the queasiness got stronger, think I only vomited once after coughing and brushing teeth in morning so I was really lucky. The tiredness strangely seems to have kicked in for me today when I lucked out and got my toddler a last minute space at his nursery on a day he doesn’t usually go to give myself some time to work. Just dragged myself and the dog around the fields which was a big ask!
