I can see one for this so in my excitement thought I’d start one. Due date is 1st Jan for me 😊

I’m 37 and pregnant with no. 2. We tried for 4 months so lucky not too long.

@lucya66 my only symptoms have been achey boobs (which I get before AF anyway) waking up super early (I was awake at 6:30 today which is unheard of) and being super thirsty.

I’ve heard symptoms properly kick in week 5/6 so just enjoying feeling broadly fine for now!

Vikki7 · 22/04/2023 20:47

I am only 9dpo but found a CBD in the house and thought I'd give it a go. It already came up pregnant this early on! I am astounded and reassured after having very, very faint lines this morning and thinking it may be in my head! This is so wonderful.

Booklover88 · 22/04/2023 20:56

@Vikki7 thats the same as me-very faint lines and then a CBD confirmed. Seeing it in black and white was just the most amazing feeling, couldn’t believe it! Congratulations ā¤ļø

Wanderlust86 · 22/04/2023 22:40

Hi all, I found out I'm pregnant on Wednesday and estimated due date is December 28th. It's my first so I'm assuming it will probably be a January baby if all goes well. I can't believe it as we have been ttc for nearly 2 years. I'm trying not to get too excited as it's still so early!

Wanderlust86 · 22/04/2023 22:41

Congratulations to you all!

Mushroo · 23/04/2023 07:31

@Wanderlust86 congratulations!! We’re very similar dates - NHS puts me at 31 December and it’s my first as well.

I had a small amount of pink spotting last night, I googled and seems ok but my god it was stressful!! Seems fine today so hoping it stays that way. Got my digital ā€˜pregnant’ today which was good to see in black and white.

lucya66 · 23/04/2023 07:58

@Mushroo congrats! Pleased for you and I’m the same. No symptoms had a metallic taste at night as if the roof of my mouth was a bit swollen.

ive also been getting up super early to pee, like 6am desperate for a pee every morning but not drank any more than usual.

im going to ring gp this week to make it official :)

my tests have been getting darker each day.

lucya66 · 23/04/2023 07:58

@Wanderlust86 congrats! So pleased for you too :)

Mushroo · 23/04/2023 08:02

@lucya66 thank you and congratulations too! My tests have been getting darker as well which is really nice to see.

Yes to the 6am peeing! It’s like my bladder has halved in size. I’m just a bit tired but I assume that’s just from the stupidly early wake ups.

Im also going to hit send on the form this week- starting to feel real!

Wanderlust86 · 23/04/2023 09:20

Thanks 😊
I've had a weird cramping/pulling feeling since the day I found out which comes and goes. I'm also really bloated after eating anything, have mild headaches and seem to be cold all the time.
I think I'm going to phone the GP tomorrow too, I wasn't sure if it was to early or not.

Babydustthisyear · 23/04/2023 10:56

@Wanderlust86 congratulations so exciting to see the group grow. I think I might call tomorrow too no harm in getting booked to get things going 🄰

ThomasinaLivesHere · 24/04/2023 14:17

Congrats all! šŸŽ‰ I got told last week was too early to call in so I’ll wait until end of next. I’m just excited to get appointments booked. Of course then it’ll be a long wait.

Wanderlust86 · 24/04/2023 15:06

I decided I was going to wait until next week to contact but then I got a letter about a smear test today so I phoned them. They gave me contact details for the midwife unit who replied to me after 10 minutes! They said I will be allocated a midwife at the next meeting on Wednesday and will be in contact then. Exciting!!

lucya66 · 24/04/2023 15:33

Great news :) I msg my gp surgery to inform them and they advised they would get the midwife to call me tomorrow.

super quick here. Fingers crossed!

have been feeling nauseous for around an hour at dinner time. It’s like I get bloat, burp loads and then the burps make me feel like I’m going to be sick. It clears up after an hour but I had it all weekend. Not sure if it’s related to the early pregnancy.

I’ve also got very hard spots appearing around my mouth like pimples. But I never usually have them so hard. I have four that have appeared over the weekend.

anyone else?

Wanderlust86 · 24/04/2023 15:39

No way!! That's so weird,I have 2 little spots on my lips too. I didn't think it was anything related but maybe it is. I generally have clear skin and noticed quite a few spots on my face in the last few days. I guess it makes sense with all the hormones.

Wanderlust86 · 24/04/2023 15:43

Oh no I just googled it and apparently you can get pregnancy acne. Oh well

ThomasinaLivesHere · 26/04/2023 07:47

I don’t have any skin outbreaks yet but I’m sure I’ll get them. Had them last pregnancy and my skin can be so sensitive to change.

OP posts:
lucya66 · 26/04/2023 07:53

@Wanderlust86 yes acne I guess from the change up in hormones. I’ve got more spots each morning but I don’t mind.

my midwife called yesterday to say hello but that she couldn’t book me in yet as her system was down. She said she’d call me again today to schedule the first appointment.

ive had some light brown spotting which I’m reading online is normal. I’m 15 dpo so could be implantation. However mixed info online whether you prouduce hgc from implantation or before as I tested positive at 9dpo… so must have had hgc before implantation if it happened now. Idk!

other than peeing early in am, spots and some slight nausea at night, I’m feeling fine. No cramping at all. No mood swings.

im so excited but cautious of mc risks. My dh is very cautious and doesn’t want to get carried away with excitement as we have so long to go. I just can’t believe it’s finally happened. I’m so happy šŸ˜€ I am really going to try to enjoy this time being pregnant.

i wake up in the morning and I remember I’m pregnant and I get a burst of wow! Like a little life inside me, it feels so magical. Lying in bed, I cradle my tummy even though there’s 100% no bump yet šŸ˜šŸ˜ I just feel like a walking miracle haha. Like I have a secret power.

I must try to remember this feeling in future weeks if I get morning sickness or feel down.

how are you all getting on? Xx

Salamander91 · 26/04/2023 10:11

Brown blood is old blood so implantation could have been a while ago and the spotting just took a while to come out.

I'm 14dpo today and not many symptoms. A little cramping and appetite is a little funny. I feel hungry but not enjoying eating. This is baby #4 for me and I've never had morning sickness before so hoping I won't get it this time too! I feel the same as you @lucya66 it took me over 3 years to conceive this one so it feels like a miracle.

Babydustthisyear · 26/04/2023 14:06

Hey ladies update from me I have a phone call with the gp next week, assume it's to start the pathway for registering with maternity services. I have been having mild cramps like I'm about to be on my period, I am 4 +3. Feeling tired at night more than normal but not sure if it's in my head or is it real lol! I have told two close family members so I feel better I have shared our secret lol! Now I feel I can relax and keep it to ourselves for the next two months šŸ™ˆšŸ™ˆ

Mushroo · 26/04/2023 15:38

@lucya66 ive had loads of spotting. Peaked at 15dpo (and I’d already tested postive) but still happening at 4 weeks + 4 days but very light and only when I wipe. I’m on holiday but will call my doctor next week to see what they say.

Keep reading its normal but I’ll let you know what the doctor says.

My symptoms are insomnia, tiredness, thirst and sore boobs!

CMG92 · 26/04/2023 16:40

Hi everyone found out this morning I’m pregnant after a miscarriage in jan! Due 2nd jan. Only 4+1, having some cramping, feel cold quite a bit and the worst bit is insomnia atm! Going to bed at 10 and wide awake at 1am last 5days! So feeling tired but ok! Congratulations to everyone else on your pregnancies 🄰

Babydustthisyear · 26/04/2023 16:55

@CMG92 Awww Congratulations is this ur first? Welcome to the group lovely to see it grow, I'm 4 +3 due 1st Jan šŸ’•

CMG92 · 26/04/2023 17:07

@Babydustthisyear yes it will be, we were trying for over 18months when I got pregnant in December, but sadly lost it at 7weeks. Just hoping everything is ok this time šŸ™ I do feel different to last time. Are you having many symptoms?

Booklover88 · 26/04/2023 17:56

Finding it very reassuring how many of you are reporting having some cramping as I’ve been having some cramps for the last few days and was really worried it was something untoward but that’s reassured me it’s normal. I’ve got sore boobs, feel tired and like my brain isn’t working! We get an early scan because we’ve had fertility treatment (there’s got to be one plus side to all the hormones I had to take right?) so only got a couple of weeks to wait. I feel like it’s going to be the longest two weeks of my life, huge respect to everyone waiting for their 12 week scan.
