Getting close to 4 threads filled - here's number 5!

I’m off to another wedding today and I am exhausted 😴 the thing is this is DH childhood friends so I barely know them and they (as far as I’m aware) don’t know I’m pregnant yet 😩

Excited for everyone getting their scans this week. Mine is next week on Friday and feels ages away still. I've not had any reassurance scans so this will be the first time I see bub and anxiety is starting to creep in aswell as huge excitement. I want the next week and a half to fly by. Considering I got my BFP at 3.5weeks this has been the longest wait EVER

Having a private scan today 🤞🏼
15w1d and everything has been well so far, including our NIPT test. But I’ve had a severe chest infection for the past week and am worried that baby is ok 🤞🏼
keeping all fingers and toes crossed.

Sending positive vibes to those having scans today ❤️. Looking forward to seeing scan photos if sharing ☺️

NIPT done, just got to wait for the results now.

I am freaking out about my weight. I wasn't slim before falling pregnant and I am worried about the weight gain. My appetite is really poor at the moment. I've gone off everything - mainly meat and dairy products but I've still managed to gain 4 pounds instead of losing anything 😮‍💨. I feel so wrong at the moment. Despite the nausea and lack of appetite I still look at food and gain weight it seems.

I don't want to tell anyone I'm pregnant yet. I was close to blabbing to my brother and sister last week but thought better of it.

Had my private scan today and it was lovely! It was doing a headstand to start with and then just wouldn’t keep still! Haha i’ve also had my NIPT so waiting for those results back but she said everything looks fine, she measured the fluid at the back of the neck and she checked the heart, bladder, spine and skull. She said she could clearly see the eye sockets and the nose bone which she said is a really good sign as with Down syndrome you don’t usually see the nose bone!

Feeling hormonal and emotional today for the first time. I did pluck up the courage to tell my mum about the pregnancy though, I was worried about her reaction, she was clearly shocked but wasn’t negative about it so that went well in the end

@monsteramunch thank you, i’m trying to find the nub to test this gender theory but I can’t even find it! 😂

@Koalawhala it was such a lovely scan, good luck with yours. We keep laughing at our scan pictures because the poor baby looks like jeepers creepers haha not sure where its got the pointy nose and big chin from!

Hi ladies, 12 week scan all done. Baby was doing backflips and standing on its head most of the time 😆 Everything looks ok, had my bloods taken for the screening and have been told if any concerns then they will call within 72 hours, so a little on edge until that timeframe has passed - but they said baby’s heartbeat was strong and low NT which is great news. If all ok then will receive a letter within the next couple of weeks Xx

@katherine123x just read my posts from yesterday and you'll see how fed up I am :) sorry you are struggling, at least know you are not alone.

Thanks for yesterday's support, ladies. I am still not fine but I am fighting back today. After all those posts of Nando's food, I gave in and am now expecting delivery. I better keep it in! 😣

@LWestYorks I've been having exactly the same the last few days. Not every time but enough to have noticed. It seems so mild that I feel silly asking midwives about it. It's not proper spotting or anything, just as you say, a bit of a pinky peachy tinge occasionally when I wipe. I've not had any cramps and it's not progressed to anything stronger or more blood like so I've just been monitoring and trying to keep calm!

@MeganC104 I'm the same except mine is 2 weeks on Friday 😩 I keep wondering whether to cave and just have a private one but I've lasted this long so might as well hold out! I'll be almost 14 weeks by the time I have it - this first trimester is dragging!!

@SnookyPook mine is the exact same - no cramps either! How far are you?

@LWestYorks I'm 11+1. Have DTD with hubby a couple of times this week and some of it was after that. Other times have been random. I know the cervix can be delicate etc and I think it's most likely that - especially as the times that were triggered by sex looked exactly like the others. It's just so hard not to worry isn't it when you have no clue what's going on in there! As you're further on have you already had 12wk scan etc? X

@LR94 are you finding out the sex ? 💛 lovely scan

@SnookyPook yes I’m 14 today had my scan last Thursday and was all okay. it’s frustrating as like you not all the time so unsure what to do x

@NSx we have a gender scan booked in for when I'm 16 weeks. I have no idea what it could be!
I was hoping to see the nub but I literally have no idea what i’m looking for haha xxx

@katherine123x i completely feel this way. I can’t deal with the morning sickness and how debilitating it is. I don’t even get it that bad compared to some but it’s so much worse than my last pregnancy (where I just didn’t get it really) and I feel like it’s ruining so much of my Easter break.

@PrimarilyParented I totally get you! I feel so bad even feeling like it. I'm so lucky to be here!! But I've felt like absolute turd every day for 8 weeks. It's just some days I'm struggling more than others!! I'm hoping to feel better next week! Hope it improves for you too!

Scan is done! Measuring 12 weeks on the dot and everything looking healthy. Scan picture isnt very clear, we've been showing it to family and have had to explain what everything is. But other than that it couldn't have gone better. Delighted to finally have the reassurance as I didn't do a private scan.

12w scan done here too, baby is measuring ahead so they've dated me 13+1 rather than the 12+4 estimate they gave me a fortnight ago. Baby was sucking it's thumb the whole time too 🥰

Nice to see that they're still happy in there, though I'm not so keen on them growing 2.5 weeks in a fortnight, if that could slow down that'd be great 😂

Aaah it's so nice hearing about everyone's scans! We had our private one last week and loved it. NHS one on Thursday so we get to see little one again soon
