Thanks all for the suggestions, will have a look.

@Dewintergarden I have been struggling with SPD since 15 weeks, some days are really bad and some are ok, apparently it depends on ur hormones too. I'm seeing a physio privately and my problem is the front pubic bone, it's literally burns. We realised it's when I'm sat at work for a long time and the pressure of being sat makes it worse, so I bought a slightly tilted cushion to put on my seat. If it's hip or ligament or back pain she said a maternity belt would help as it keeps everything nice and together. Physio really really helps, I flew to Egypt at 28 weeks (4 weeks ago) and took that cushion with me to sit on the plane for 6 hours and I was absolutely fine!

Funfamilytimes · 07/04/2023 21:56

@tigerlily0 I have the same! That and also PGP and sciatica! I’m starting physio next week hopefully 🤞🏼 also have a maternity belt.
I found that staying in any position too long hurt? So I have the get up and down a lot. I have the exact same feeling with my pubic bone! Feels like I’ve run a marathon only in that specific spot!
It’s really nice to hear that physio is helping you because I’m so fed up at the moment!

tigerlily0 · 07/04/2023 22:05

@Funfamilytimes iv started getting sciatica type pain on my left side going down my left bum cheek! That's actually worse than the pain at the front now, but I kind of expected it. She's a really good hands-on physio and I feel awesome after she's worked on me. I feel ok on my days off from work too. It's the days I work and I'm sat for long that it bothers me. Hope the physio helps you!

Belami · 07/04/2023 22:24

I've had spd since about 18 weeks & I've been on the physio list since January 😩 it's really awful isn't it. Every position pretty much hurts so have to change position constantly!! Sleeping is a nightmare at the moment xx

Bablond · 07/04/2023 22:34

@tigerlily0 same thing here too!!! What do you mean by tilted pillow?
@Funfamilytimes I agree, if I've sat on a hard seat for too long it gets really bad, but sometimes it seems to randomly flare up.

I've been told to try a sercola belt but haven't yet

ImHopeful2023 · 08/04/2023 00:28

Think alot of us in same boat I'm finding it hard to walk at times with the sciatica worse in my left bum low back

Zaalfruit · 08/04/2023 06:16

So sorry to hear everyone with sciatica and spd pain!! My hips hurt but I think it’s more because the bump feels awfully heavy and places a strain on my hips and back .

@DrinkingAllTheGin so cute seeing all the washing. It’s been pissing down with rain for us where we live in London 😫😫😫 I want to start the washing my parents have a dryer - I might give my mum a cheeky wash load!

@firsttimelondonmummy I really want to get the elvie again but last time I couldn’t express milk - it was so weird it just wouldn’t come out . However I could breastfeed which I did for months and months. Everyone I know who had the elvie has told me that it’s got great resale value so you have done well at finding it at such a bargain.

If anyone else suffers from hg here or sickness - please can I get some remedies on how to curve the nausea 😀

PurBal · 08/04/2023 06:27

Also have SPD, I hate that there’s no relief. It’s not like “lie down for an hour and it’ll feel better”. I am wearing a belt because I feel discomfort at the top of my bump when standing for too long. I can’t really explain it and it’s really weird. I have bad acid reflux and threw up yesterday, so that was fun.

gg9320 · 08/04/2023 07:04

Hi @Zaalfruit really sorry to hear you’re suffering with HG! Are you on medication? I’m still taking cyclizine morning and night to keep the sickness at bay despite almost being in the third trimester now. I also try to keep stress to a minimum and get lots of sleep (easier said than done) which helps. I personally haven’t found any natural remedies help HG, just medication and rest.

Zaalfruit · 08/04/2023 08:02

@gg9320 I’m taking promethazine hydrochloride and cyclising . They used to help a little but randomly the sickness has ramped up. ( I tried Ondansetron (Zofran) but it was giving me really bad migraines - so stopped taking them) Maybe it’s stress -I feel
quite stressed . Thank you for your kind words x

tigerlily0 · 08/04/2023 08:24

@Bablond www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00DFDCS86/ref=oxscactimage2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1&th=1

This is what I have.

@Zaalfruit so sorry ure going thru sickness- I had it first trimester and third trimester the nausea has come back a bit at times. Not bad enough to need medication. I just have things like ice pops and calipos. I'm 32+3 now so hoping to just ride all this out now along with my sciatica/SPD

gg9320 · 08/04/2023 08:51

@Zaalfruit I’m sorry, it’s such a miserable condition! Hope you get some relief from it soon x

Babybaby66 · 08/04/2023 09:40

@Zaalfruit sorry you’re going through this, I’m still on cyclezene and the sickness doesn’t seem to be going anywhere but I have zero advice I’m afraid. It’s really wearing me down now - I’m trying to keep stress to a minimum. The only thing that helps me is doing literally nothing but I’m so bored of that now! I have a.l friend who said their HG disappeared at 32 weeks so I’m currently hoping mine does too and on the 8 day countdown. Not that hopeful though…

firsttimelondonmummy · 08/04/2023 10:00

@Zaalfruit sorry to hear you aren’t feeling great! Sending love ❤️

Movements anyone else still not having an exact pattern 31--32 weeks pregnant anterior placenta somedays her movements are strong other days her movement feel lighter was in scan last week and she was moving like mad and couldn't feel anything

firsttimelondonmummy · 08/04/2023 14:21

@ImHopeful2023 no regularity for me and I have a high posterior placenta.
Similar to you some days flutters other days strong movements.

ImHopeful2023 · 08/04/2023 15:05

Hi @firsttimelondonmummy it is annoying isn't it I have a low lying placenta scan this week to see If it has moved

firsttimelondonmummy · 08/04/2023 15:11

@ImHopeful2023 sorry I think that came across wrong (baby brain in full force).
Supposedly posterior high is one of the best positions to have and usually allows for you to feel movements frequently and from an early stage.
This hasn’t been the case for me I didn’t feel till 20 something weeks and some days his movements are still extremely dull and I’ve been told not to worry so I wouldn’t worry either. ❤️

ImHopeful2023 · 08/04/2023 15:24

Thanks @firsttimelondonmummy just annoying when they keep saying know her pattern when her pattern is all over the place

Zaalfruit · 08/04/2023 15:34

@ImHopeful2023 @firsttimelondonmummy second time pregnancy and literally no pattern in both ( I have an anterior placenta ) . However my midwife told me - have some iced water and lie down if you feel it’s extremely dull still - no harm in coming in. Sometimes I can feel her moving around - some days I can’t tell that I’m pregnant Because movement is so dull. It’s so annoying that they say the baby should have a pattern - because I find certain activities makes the baby move more !

Hlc86 · 08/04/2023 17:14

I agree with the lack of patterns, I have a low lying placenta (scan in the next few weeks to see if it's moved) and hardly feel any movements, but I don't know if that's cause I'm always on the go so don't really stop to see if that makes sense, with my first pregnancy I had an anterior placenta and didn't really feel noticeable movements u till I was 35+weeks, so when I do feel movements now it feels very alien 👽. I'm hoping my placenta has moved the time I have my scan, but with having pre eclampsia and baby currently transverse (hoping she moves too 😂) it's looking like a c section, just hope the pre eclampsia holds at mild until I'm full term.

ImHopeful2023 · 08/04/2023 17:45

@Zaalfruit and @Hlc86 I know they can make us more nervous with this pattern lark I just lie on side and felt some movements it's annoying just wish we could see how the little ones are doing.

Zaalfruit · 08/04/2023 18:22

@Babybaby66 and I feel so angry all the time . Because I’m so miserable 😩

Belami · 08/04/2023 19:42

Same @ImHopeful2023 & @firsttimelondonmummy !! I feel him regularly but no particular pattern, I said this to the midwife & she said well maybe him not having a pattern is his pattern 🤔😩

ImHopeful2023 · 08/04/2023 19:51

No pattern is a pattern that's a first @Belami lol I think as long as I feel her everyday I'm happy that's my pattern.
