I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

Just had to run to the toilet thinking I was going to be sick but when I got there nothing came… also my sore boobs have went away today - not reading too much into that 🤷🏼‍♀️

99SR · 19/04/2023 07:18

@DaisyMay25 yeah I’m going more frequently whereas most people say they get constipated 🥴

DaisyMay25 · 19/04/2023 07:23

@99SR my nausea is on and off but I'm never sick. My sore boobs come and go too which is normal too 😊

99SR · 19/04/2023 07:41

@DaisyMay25 ok phew, you’ve put my mind at ease. It’s so hard doing this after a loss!!

Charlielechat · 19/04/2023 07:50

@smldnlove Yeah the private clinic near me offers scans from 6 weeks, but I've heard lots of stories from people going at 6 weeks and not being able to see much. So I'm going to try 7 weeks!

@DaisyMay25 great progression! @Misspotterscat that's great for you! I'm trying to hold off til 5 weeks to redo mine in case I disappoint myself 🙈

Mummy1502 · 19/04/2023 08:01

Feel like there’s no difference in 2 days? X

Oldermum84 · 19/04/2023 08:08

@Mummy1502 I wouldn't read too much into that. They're both really strong tests. Most people would have stopped testing by now! (Though I continued to test too ha!)

I'm now 7+4 and feeling sick daily.

I think the sick feeling is putting me on edge I feel so anxious. Still obsessing about the fact it could be twins and his I wouldn't cope. I've a private scan booked tomorrow night.

Can anyone tell me if they'd definitely be able to tell it's twins or not at a scan at 7+5??

KIWI2023 · 19/04/2023 08:09

@Mummy1502 I don't think it can get much darker, that may be why. You probably won't see any further progression in lines now, I know it's super hard but it may be time to step away from the tests❤️

Mummy1502 · 19/04/2023 08:15

@Oldermum84 @KIWI2023 thankyou just was hoping for a dye stealer lol x

FfoxRedN · 19/04/2023 08:17

@Oldermum84 yes they will be able to see x

smldnlove · 19/04/2023 08:47

@Charlielechat im going to try and book in before my hen do next Friday. As then at least I know and have more certainty around what I’ll say to people. I’ll be 6 weeks next Wednesday so will try and book for then! Hope you’re all goes well too!

@Mummy1502 both tests look really strong and positive to me!! Couldn’t get much darker than those tests x

DaisyMay25 · 19/04/2023 08:50

@99SR oh I know, I promised I wouldn't keep testing but can't help myself!
It's hard after a loss but just try to remember this is a new pregnancy.
I'm working with my favourite midwife on Friday so going to tell her and see if she has any advice, tried to collar a consultant yesterday but was they was all too busy.
Work is so warm I just wanna be sick, gotta put in a face though or they'll all notice 😂

Oldermum84 · 19/04/2023 08:52

Thank you @FfoxRedN x

HappyPie82 · 19/04/2023 09:03

Does anyone else wish they’d found out later? I was 11DPO, so like 3w4d and time seems to be stretching.
My partner doesn’t think we need to go for a scan before 12w as he doesn’t think it’ll reduce my anxiety… he’s probably right I’d stop worrying for a day and then right back to it.
I’m also holding off on taking a digital weeks one as I really want it to say 3+ and I’m scared to take it at 5w1d and it not say that!
I feel like if I’d found out later at least some of the weeks would have been counted down already!

DaisyMay25 · 19/04/2023 09:17

@HappyPie82 yes me! I found out at 13dpo but 3 weeks 3 days, I'm 4 weeks tomorrow and I don't know how I'll cope for 2 months 😭😭

Landsmen · 19/04/2023 09:41

Is anyone on cyclizine. I took it in my previous pregnancy and then switched to metoclopramide as it wasn't effective enough. Currently I have cyclizine and it's making me too drowsy to function also my main problem is extreme nausea only vomiting once or twice a day. Any reco of what's best.

Jammydodged · 19/04/2023 09:45

@Landsmen I am also on Cyclizine for extreme nausea. I have found it helped a lot but still very nauseous in the morning and night. How long have you been on it? I only started it on Monday but feel like it’s only taken the edge off. Are you off work?

Jammydodged · 19/04/2023 09:45

@Landsmen i forgot to say it’s also making me very tired as well.

allthingspinkx · 19/04/2023 09:56

Hi ladies! Can I join? Just found out this morning, I'm 3w 3days. Terrified to tell DP as this wasn't planned at all.

TulipVictory · 19/04/2023 10:06

@Oldermum84 please update after your scan. I am currently 6+6 & have other children. I never felt this sick with the others, it's every day and it's awful 🤢 I am really hoping it isn't more than one as well as I could not fit any more in my life 😩

Albiboba · 19/04/2023 10:24

Can I ask made you test so early if it wasn’t planned?
Hopefully all goes well with DP!

Ehc1989 · 19/04/2023 10:26

@smldnlove i have my hen do this weekend!!! I have told one of my friends who’s going to get me non alcoholic drinks & I’ve bought a bottle of non alcoholic gin and put it into an empty normal gin bottle lol. Nervous but I’m sure I’ll get away with it!
we will be 12 weeks on our wedding day so we plan on telling our guests, if all goes well! Eek

Mummy1502 · 19/04/2023 10:29

@smldnlove Thankyou can’t help but worry x

Buttons86 · 19/04/2023 10:39

@Oldermum84 I had a scan done yesterday at 7+5 and think at that point they can tell. I also have been really sick so did wonder if twins but there is one heartbeat.

@Landsmen I’ve just been prescribed cyclazine…I have been tired from the sickness so not sure I’m any more tired taking it but it’s only been a few days.

@DaisyMay25 I have had diarrhoea as well as sickness…it kicked in for me on week 6 and think is linked to a hormone surge at that stage. I was constipated before that…such a delight!

Seasidegirl11 · 19/04/2023 10:41

@Landsmen I’m on both cyclizine and metoclopramide. They take the edge of nausea but I’m still vomiting 5/6 times a day. I’ve been signed off work with HG and have pretty much been bed bound for 2.5 weeks. Do feel drowsy for a bit after taking but not too much. I’m so exhausted from being sick I don’t really notice!

Everyone reacts different to different medication so it’s worth just trying out what works for you x
