I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

@HannahLouD fab news and great of them to to book you in for another scan what a bonus 😍

HannahLouD · 18/04/2023 14:19

Thank you so much everyone! ❤ Still really shocked that all seems ok so far! I've had literally none of my symptoms for days now and still don't have any nausea or anything so that along with the pain, I was so sure it was going to be bad news. Fingers crossed this little one keeps on growing! x

MomentOhm · 18/04/2023 14:33

Aww @HannahLouD your little bubba 🥰❤️, so happy for you 🌟

DaisyMay25 · 18/04/2023 14:47

@HannahLouD that's fantastic news!!

DaisyMay25 · 18/04/2023 14:50

I've picked up my pessaries, they had to order them in! Gotta take them til 16 weeks if I get that far. Put a liner in and keep looking gif blood but so far fine, boobs hurt a little nausea comes and goes and cramps like beginning of AF but I remember this from last time.
I'm testing using frer again on Friday so that there's been a fair amount of time between (5 days) I use strips daily and cheap ones everyone other day.
I worry my tests are faint but I'm only 3+5 (15 dpo)

Charlielechat · 18/04/2023 14:57

@DaisyMay25 mine aren't very dark yet either, still lighter than the control. I think it's early days though! I'm not doing the clearblue til 5 weeks, just so that I don't freak myself out if it's not at 2-3 weeks yet! I ovulate quite late and have short cycles, so everyone is different!

Congratulations @HannahLouD that's lovely for you!

FfoxRedN · 18/04/2023 14:58

@DaisyMay25 if it's the progesterone pessaries you may find it 'cleaner' going the back way rather than vaginally.
Have you had them before?
If not be prepared for some white greasy debris (sorry TMI!!!) and if you only use vaginally they can irritate the cervix so you may spot a little bit, just to pre-warn as it panicked me the first week I had them xx

DaisyMay25 · 18/04/2023 15:31

@FfoxRedN I used them with ivf, back passage is so much easier, I'm prone to thrush too so I avoid vaginally. Had to stop taking my long term treatment now too 😭

@Charlielechat it's had to not test isn't it? I won't use clearblue, they cause too much anxiety and I don't trust them 😂

SMG1992 · 18/04/2023 15:39

@HannahLouD so pleased for you and your good news
must be such a relief x

OnNaturesCourse · 18/04/2023 15:56

Just got my bloods back - they are putting me between 6&7 weeks with 7560

Which doesn't fall into any of my dates! So I have no idea but they are going to scan tomorrow.

Glad the scan went well today! Love seeing scan pictures and hearing good new stories.

HannahLouD · 18/04/2023 16:11

@chloe3103 @PhyllisVance23 just been reading back and I see you guys had haematomas... That's what I was told my bleed on my scan is - a small haematoma and it's written on my report... But it's not close to the baby and is small so they weren't worried. They said I could have some spotting due to it but I've not had any spotting or bleeding at all yet so hoping it doesn't turn into an issue... 😶x

HannahLouD · 18/04/2023 16:36

Sorry, I know people keep on asking for this but can I have the links to the groups please? I think after seeing the little flicker today I'm ready to bite the bullet and join 😬🤞❤️✨x

KIWI2023 · 18/04/2023 16:43

I didn't get dark lines on tests until about 21dpo and another few days for a dye stealer...

I had a squinter at 12dpo which was still a faint line (albeit progressively getting slightly darker) for another week before I got anywhere near a clear line, so try not to worry!

DaisyMay25 · 18/04/2023 17:09

@Pitstop1986 thank you, makes me feel a bit better! Don't think I'll relax anytime soon though. I hate the first trimester

smldnlove · 18/04/2023 18:23

Hi all! Hoping I can join? Have been on a few threads and didn’t really track this month as we only DTD once in my fertile window. We get married in 7 weeks and I didn’t want to be sick the whole day…. Fast forward to now, I’m 4 days late just tested and we are very much pregnant!!!

This is our 1st and been TTC 3 cycles.

Due Dec 21st! I’m completely terrified and stunned, hoping for some support on this wild journey! 💕

When did you guys tell parents (if you have)?

Due December 2023
DaisyMay25 · 18/04/2023 18:36

@smldnlove congratulations!
I think I might tell my mum on her birthday, it's her 60th, I'll be 10 weeks so hopefully going to book an early scan
Not sure about my dad (he lives in a different country) probably after 12 week scan

Ehc1989 · 18/04/2023 18:42

@smldnlove congrats & welcome! I get married in 6 weeks eek! I haven’t told my parents yet - wanted to wait till I had a scan!

Retrogamer · 18/04/2023 18:53

Hi
I've been following this thread for a while and i love how supportive you all are.
I have 1 DS age 6. Been ttc no 2 over 3 years and had a chemical pregnancy in 2020. I just about come to terms with my infertility when I decided to take a test because I felt faint at work. I had to take several more after that because I didn't believe it lol
I'm about 7+4 weeks but lmp puts me a couple of days back so looking at the end of november to early December. I had nausea from 6 weeks but only started throwing up two days ago. 🙃 Even with symptoms I still don't quite believe it.
I've requested the Facebook group but still cautious as it's early days.
Anyway sorry for the massive post. Congratulations to you all.

MomentOhm · 18/04/2023 19:21

Welcome @Retrogamer and congratulations 🎉 xx

Charlielechat · 18/04/2023 19:35

Congratulations @smldnlove !
I'm hoping to get a private scan around 7 weeks and will tell immediate family if all goes well!

Misspotterscat · 18/04/2023 19:36

GingerJanee · 18/04/2023 10:16

@Misspotterscat I’m not sure how reliable the indicators are I tested using one the day AF was due and got 1-2 weeks which matched my dates and exactly 1 week later expecting 2-3 weeks and it read 3+. HCG is so variable and some people don’t ever get the super high levels and there is nothing wrong with their pregnancies.

I’m choosing to believe the indicators are not as reliable rather than the fact my HCG could be higher with a chance of twins 😂

It’s a strange one isn’t it as surely we can’t all be the same. I think implantation only happened just over a week ago and this time last week I was having very faint tests, it took until Thursday for a decent line. I’m trying to talk myself out of panicking 😁
