I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

Can't believe I am actually typing this, but happy to say that today I am 5 weeks (EDD is 19th December). I am 38 and this is my first pregnancy.

5 weeks today as well and EDD 19th December!
No symptoms except slightly sore boobs and fatigue!
First midwife appointment booked for 15th may and NHS scan booked for 5th June!! Couldn't have waited that long, so have booked on for 28th April!

Hi all, tentatively joining. I'm 4 weeks 6 days and at 20dpo (I have slightly longer cycles). This is baby no. 2. I was a bit worried at first as my tests seemed quite faint - I got stark negatives at 9dpo and 10dpo, then a faint line at 15dpo! But they've darkened (attached photo is today) so I think we're in business! Now need to self refer and wait for my booking appointment. Did anyone else have gestational diabetes in their last pregnancy? I'm fully expecting to get it again 😣

So many with an EDD of 19th!

@Mummy1502 so lovely to see yours progressing. I took another this morning but still only showing 1-2 weeks, it’s stressing me out. I ovulated on 31st March so not sure when I’d expect it to change?

@Misspotterscat I wouldn't put everything on the weeks indicators... I've read so many stories of people not getting 2-3 until 5 weeks and 3+ into 6 weeks.
I got my 2-3 at 14dpo and 3+ at 18dpo but again, could mean nothing!

Sooo nervous for my scan this morning. It's an hour's drive to the hospital so got to go straight after the school run.
I've got such a nervous tummy this morning... Not good haha.
Will update afterwards... But not holding out too much hope... x

@Misspotterscat Thankyou, have you been using FRER too alongside the digital? Mine was still 1-2 weeks yesterday with smu but now 2-3 today with fmu, I had a really strong line on FRER yesterday, I don’t know when I ovulated as didn’t test for it this month x

@Misspotterscat keep us updated, everyone’s hcg goes up differently so I wouldn’t worry, I’m 4+3 today going by first day of last period x

@SighthoundLover congratulations! I’m also due 23rd Dec and it was our first month of trying too. I know what you mean, just feeling so incredibly lucky but hoping that doesn’t mean it can only get worse.

Is anyone else too scared to going the Facebook group yet? I’m only 4+3 and after having a chemical a couple of cycles ago I’m scared something might happen x

I have had sore boobs and period-like cramps starting a few days before my expected period date and still ongoing. GP said it's normal in early pregnancy.

May I ask when did you self-refer yourself? I did it over the weekend. was wondering how long it will take them to give me a date for midwife appointment and scan.

@Misspotterscat I’m not sure how reliable the indicators are I tested using one the day AF was due and got 1-2 weeks which matched my dates and exactly 1 week later expecting 2-3 weeks and it read 3+. HCG is so variable and some people don’t ever get the super high levels and there is nothing wrong with their pregnancies.

I’m choosing to believe the indicators are not as reliable rather than the fact my HCG could be higher with a chance of twins 😂

Hi all,

Had my scan this morning...

Thought I was 6+3 but measuring 6+2 which is fine... I saw the heartbeat 😭😍❤️ it was clearly there and flickering away!

Scan showed a very small bleed which they said could be the cause of the pain... They also said the egg was released from my right ovary and as it's right-sided pain could be partly that too. They're not at all worried about the bleed though, especially as I haven't had any bleeding.

They were so kind and they've booked me in for another reasurrance scan in just over 2 weeks time due to my anxiety.

Can't quite believe everything was ok... Now just hoping and praying it continues to grow and that this is my little sticky one 🤞✨🤍
