I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

@GingerJanee you will see plenty at 8 weeks 🥰 xx

GingerJanee · 15/04/2023 12:34

@Peaceandloves So exciting 🥰 think the next few months are going to fly in!

@FfoxRedN Aw I’m glad to hear this was afraid to leave it later as we’ve a wedding abroad and I’d ideally like a scan before it!

wannabemum38 · 15/04/2023 13:37

@greyberry OH god the wetness yes making me super paranoid all the time. I also have white bits in my urine (tmi sorry) which I googled is totally normal its just extra discharge
Interesting about the aspirin I'll have to mention that to my midwife.
Congratulations too date twin! X

@FfoxRedN I hope to book one for 8 weeks don't think I can wait much longer I feel like I'm imaging being pregnant!

I'm 4 weeks and 4 days today. My BBT has been dipping for the last two/ three days and now it's just about over the baseline - just about!
I'm properly freaking out now.. anyone experienced this and things were okay? Or is this not looking good?

Hi @mks1110 - I know it’s easier said than done but I’d try to step away from the thermometer if you can. I’m sure I read somewhere before that BBT might not be accurate in early pregnancy - and even at the best of times so many things can throw it off! I had a slight drop in my BBT the day before AF would normally arrive after getting my BFP and I panicked when I saw this but a few days later my BBT had jumped straight back up again. I refuse to check any more!

The first few weeks of pregnancy are tough enough - try not to torture yourself any further by looking too deeply into things that might not matter at all!!

FfoxRedN · 15/04/2023 13:42

@wannabemum38 @GingerJanee by 8 weeks you will definitely see a little foetus with a heartbeat, or two 😂💗 xx

Albiboba · 15/04/2023 14:13

@HannahLouD hope you feel better! Take a break and try to find a distraction if that’s what you need.
Just to say though symptoms really don’t mean anything! Even if you were sick in 1 pregnancy doesn’t mean it will be the same the next time and some people don’t have any negative symptoms. The most common symptom is loss of your period and you have that.
I have a friend who recently found out at 16 weeks! Not a hint that she felt pregnant before.

I had killer boobs during my first pregnancy for a week or so and then never again and have a healthy 21 month old now. x

mks1110 · 15/04/2023 15:45

@Lana32 thank you! I am annoyed for looking at it... and you're right these first few weeks are so nerve wracking!

Rainbowdust557 · 15/04/2023 18:00

@HannahLouD So sorry to hear that. I really hope you come back with some good news. My symptoms have definitely come and go and it is a horrible feeling when you feel something is not right. Big hugs and keeping fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

Hollyandhercats · 15/04/2023 18:43

Hi all, I’ve just had a BFP at 11dpo. Last period was 20/3 so looking at a Christmas Baby xx hope you’re all well xx

Itonlytakesaminute · 15/04/2023 19:17

@GingerJanee how funny, I am on honeymoon too for the next two weeks too so a bit easier to hide and not want to tell everyone!
I am 6 weeks today

GingerJanee · 15/04/2023 19:44

@FfoxRedN I hadn’t even thought of 2 heartbeats 😂🙈

@Itonlytakesaminute I know it’s a blessing in disguise that it takes two weeks out of the lying and hiding to people!

Luciechappie · 15/04/2023 20:28

Hi ladies, congratulations to you all! I wanted to join this thread as I have just got my BFP. We lost our son at 22 weeks in January so I never expected to fall pregnant again so fast. I’m petrified but cautiously excited at the potential prospect of still becoming a mum to a living baby this year. My son Max was due in June. I’m spotting a bit but I did also have that with my son but everything is making me so much more anxious this time. Just praying we get our rainbow 🌈

Hi December mummas 🎉❤️

Found out I was pregnant Good Friday, was a complete shock for both DH and I!

NHS has my due date as 8th December. My cycles have been crazy irregular the past 6 months to the point that I actually thought I might be starting menopause early. I'll be 40 this year.

I have a 19yo DD and 3 year old DS. I lost a baby before my DS so was an anxious wreck throughout my last pregnancy.

This time I feel calm and optimistic ☺️
Glad to be the thread ladies and lots of love to all 💓🫂🥰

I'm really worried and do t know what to do, I have been having some cramping in my left side and lower back and now having some pain in my neck/shoulder and shoulder blade. I'm scared

I'd go to A&E. I had pain in my lower right and I was told while waiting for EPU if I had shoulder tip pain to go to A&E. Could be nothing but better safe than worry.
