Due December 2023

I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

Really loving the scan pics! And twins! How amazing!! Did you guys have any additional symptoms that prompted a early scan?

Does anyone know if line darkness on the tests stand for much? My previous pregnancies were quite light (ish) lines at this point whereas this one is dye stealing already.

I had quite a lot of cramping but other than that, wanted to know whether there was a heartbeat x

Rainbowdust557 · 13/04/2023 16:06

Congratulations @KIWI2023 How amazing!! So great to see scan pictures already 🥰

@HappyPie82 I have really been hit with this this week. Mother Nature is very cruel! Haha! I keep having peculiar dreams when I do manage to actually go to sleep as well. 😵

FfoxRedN · 13/04/2023 18:02

@HappyPie82 yep! Falling asleep is a doddle but waking most nights at about 1am and then I'm not able to get back to sleep 😴

@OnNaturesCourse nothing different for me in the first week or so. Actually had super dark lines on my last pregnancy test, this time they were lighter but I only tested to 12dpo and no further. I think your hormones can fluctuate from one pregnancy to another. I have had extra cramping and adjustment feelings down there compared to before, but I guess there's double the space being taken up 😊 xx

Dogmum11 · 13/04/2023 19:53

Well hi ladies!

I am soooo shocked to be on this group!!! Lovely to see so many positives.

My son is 12 weeks old and I have found out today that I am somewhere between 4-5 weeks pregnant 🙃🙃🙃🙃 so if all goes well that will be two babies in 2023.

it’s a odd place to be as it’s so unexpected. We had to have help to conceive our first as I have PCOS and haven’t had a period since giving birth.

God knows what the next few weeks look like, the surprises seem to keep coming this year!

mks1110 · 13/04/2023 20:16

Excited to be part of the December 2023 crew! I'm 4+2 today, due on the 19th of December!

No nausea or anything, but just a lot of cramping. Mild, but fairly consistent! It has made me nervous about working out / running , etc though. I know it's just in my mind, and I can carry on! But feel like I want to protect everything too!!

Pitstop1986 · 13/04/2023 20:25

@HappyPie82 another one here who is exhausted, but can't sleep at night! My eyes are literally stinging from being so tired, I go to bed early every night to just lie there, then when I do fall asleep, it's for a short while before I'm awake again!

OnNaturesCourse · 13/04/2023 20:29

Congratulations everyone.

Dogmum - wow! You must be so shocked, I would be lol. Is that not classed as "Irish twins" having babies born in the same year?

Dogmum11 · 13/04/2023 20:48

I believe it is yeah.
I’ve done a lot of crying today and a lot of swearing haha but what will be will be!
we were going to try for another, although not until the NY. Never thought we’d have two by then potentially 😂

NavigatingLife · 13/04/2023 21:25

Lovely to read all the messages on here! I got a BFP 2 weeks ago but was struggling a little with figuring out dates and what week I am as when tracking ovulation it seemed to be quite late.

Took a clearblue digital last week that said 3+ and then had some weird feelings and spasms over the weekend which was worrying me. So I threw all my promises of not getting an early scan out the window and in a panic went for a scan on Tues 🙈

Instead of being close to 6 weeks which I thought, they measured me at 4+6 so too early to see anything apart from sac! They seemed happy enough and I feel more calm (for now) with this info. Just makes me wonder why last week at 4+1 the digital had 3+ weeks 🤔

Also - saw the messages from some of you who feel nauseous only when hungry which I have, and as soon as I start eating I feel better. I'm using it as proof to DH that I'm not just avoiding making dinner for us so thank you for sharing and helping my point!! 🤣

bringmearainbow · 13/04/2023 22:12

@NavigatingLife how odd did they say if you had a tilted uterus at all? That can make early scanning very hard esp if it wasn't an internal one

OnNaturesCourse · 13/04/2023 22:34

Similar boat here
We were going to consider trying again after Xmas... But here we are!

HannahLouD · 14/04/2023 07:16

Went to bed at 8 last night, woke up once for the loo and just got woken up by my daughter at 7... 11 hours sleep and still completely exhausted 🙄😩 when is it bedtime again?! 😅
Still absolutely no nausea or morning sickness though... 5+6 today... Starting to worry a bit!

Mummy1502 · 14/04/2023 07:16

@Dogmum11 wow! Congratulations and congratulations to everyone else just joining x

Dogmum11 · 14/04/2023 08:18

Thank you
for my son I joined a face group group for ladies due in January to share questions and experiences. Is there something similar for this group?

Dogmum11 · 14/04/2023 08:19

Facebook even!

They said everything looks like it's in the right place so I've taken from that there wasn't really an issue except I had dates wrong just!

Oldermum84 · 14/04/2023 08:29

Hi everyone, I'm now 6+6. Hi to all the newbies and congratulations!
I've somehow become really anxious over the last few days about twins. I barely coped when my DS was a.newborn, who is now 3. We have no family support and I know I wouldn't cope with twins. Think I might book an early scan next week and pray it's just one baby to put my mind at rest though god knows what I'd do if it was twins.
Does anyone else have this fear?!

Mummy1502 · 14/04/2023 08:34

Is anyone else hungry all the time? I can’t stop eating x

KIWI2023 · 14/04/2023 09:05

Me! I've gained 3lbs in the last two weeks😂😂😂

Mummy1502 · 14/04/2023 09:07

@KIWI2023 glad im not the only one lol x

Mummy1502 · 14/04/2023 09:07

@KIWI2023 youve got 2 babies in there though lol I’ve not got that excuse x

KIWI2023 · 14/04/2023 09:08

I'm here for you @Mummy1502! It's not easy😂 it's the only thing that stops me feeling sick so I am literally eating constantly 😂

FfoxRedN · 14/04/2023 09:11

Yeah same here! This morning I've essentially had 3 mini breakfasts already 🫣

Mummy1502 · 14/04/2023 09:14

@KIWI2023 @FfoxRedN ive had a bowl of cereal and 2 packs of crisps and still hungry 😂 enjoying it incase I lose my appetite though I spose, I’m 4 weeks tomorrow so havnt really got any excuse as to why I’m so hungry yet x

5betty · 14/04/2023 09:44

Tentatively joining you guys! My period was due today and had zero signs of it arriving, I had a first response in the cupboard and it's positive! I can't believe it, been trying since December 2020. I haven't told my partner yet as I want to get some more tests to confirm!
I'm so excited and nervous, I feel sick 😂
