Hi all another new thread as the last one filled up fast again.
8wks3 here according to early scan. This may change at the 12 weeks scan xx

Just checking in to mark my place. Had my 12 week scan letter today, which will be at exactly 12 weeks by LMP date, 12 +5 based on thr dates they gave at my early scan

@ali2021 @TealDreams I’m on it I’m 8 weeks 5 days and today feel like I’m going to 💩 myself and haven’t stopped sleeping. Please tell me I’m not the only one with these symptoms. I don’t know how long I will be on them for they were prescribed by EPU as had 2 previous MC this is the furthest I’ve been. But they prescribed them wrong dose twice and I had to query. I had my first midwife appointment yesterday and she said she would query it for me. How are you both feeling? X

Is anyone else always starving ... but when you sit down to eat your evening meal struggle to get it down. Really pissing me off. Don't know whether it's going to come back up or even go down. I've made a cheese flan and chips for tea (really fancied it strangely) and only managed half ..

@Fifianne I'm exhausted too , my main symptom. Think it's a very common pregnancy one though. I also feel rubbish, but have a uti. EPU told me 16 weeks but lots of people are told to stop around 12 so I'm going to query it too. I'm on 400mg morning and night but I know people on 200mg xx

I had a scan today, based on ovulation I should have been 7w6d, measured 8w1d, really pleased and relieved to see the little heart biting fast! And only 1 baby! My DH has happy with that!

I was planning to have a scan at 10 weeks so that a do afterwards the nipt blood test, but on Monday it's my booking appointment, after 2 MC I wouldn't have been able to talk with the midwife a about the pregnancy unless I had confirmed everything was ok (at least for now).

I'm 10+4 and the nausea and tiredness is subsiding. For weeks I've found it impossible to prepare food but happily eaten (mostly beige!) food when it's been in front of me.

That said, I'm struggling to eat three meals. I get to dinner and just don't want it so I'm think of swapping breakfast or lunch for a smoothie or something.

@TealDreams yes I’m also on 400mg morning and night. Oh poor you UTI’s are soooo common in pregnancy and the worse when you’re peeing enough already! I’m happy to be on these as long as possible though just want a healthy happy baby in my arms in October 🥰

Just catching up on the new thread.

I have my booking appointment on Thursday this week, I'm interested to see what date she uses as I had a private scan which dated me 5 days ahead where I thought I was by NHS calculations. So I'm 9+3 today!

It's strange I don't feel as pregnant as last time, I've seen the heartbeat and know it's there, and I do have symptoms. Different to last time, like some others just so hungry all the time like I could eat 3 hot meals a day easily, but then end up feeling so bloated and gassy it's uncomfortable. Hoping this subsides over the next few weeks.

I'm hoping after the 12 weeks scan and blood results I'll feel better. I think I'm trying not to get too attached as I've had a previous MMC and being a bit older (39) I worry something bad will come back in bloods.

@ttcttc I've been the same - if I don't eat for a while I feel really nauseous but then once I've made food I can't manage the whole lot!

My sense of smell is on overdrive too - the most random things set me off wretching, so that's a new fun development!

9+1 today, have a private scan on the 27th and it can't come soon enough! For now I'm having to settle with seeing how tiny baby's hands and feet are on my app 🥲

@monsteramunch and @Hopefulx I’m glad I’m not alone. My other half offered me some new spicy pittas today and I had to point out to him that I was struggling to want foods I knew I liked and definitely didn’t want something new. Bless him he’s constantly trying to help me and looking after all the kids loads so I can rest and I just felt so ungrateful but food just seems so repulsive.

i do recall it from my last pregnancy now but to be honest I’d forgotten it as all I really remembered was the end part where I felt like a bottomless pit and nothing ever filled me up for more than 5 minutes.

@DancingNancies omg yes the overwhelming sense of smell is so annoying. The kids were playing with play dough and it smelt ridiculously strong to me and followed me for ages after they had put it away.

is anyone else having vivid dreams that aren’t nightmarish but just plain bonkers? Me and my partner are actually quite enjoying joking about some of my crazy ones. I did have some scary ones early on but fingers crossed it’s just funny/weird ones from now on.

@PrimarilyParented yes to the weird vivid dreams, between weeks 6-8 mine were so awful like full on nightmares I absolutely hated going ti sleep, but now just more like bonkers and very….strange like people are in them who I don’t even speak/see anymore 🤣 I’m 10+3 today x

@ttcttc snap, I woke a two and got all dizzy and funny as I was hungry and regretted not really eating dinner.

I was up 1:30-4:30. Had a bowl of coco pops 🤦🏼‍♀️. Not the best but felt sick and didn't want to feel worse so had what I fancied. I'm going to be like ten ton tess

9+3 today. Genuinely might have to break out a pair of maternity Jeans. Don't want to wear leggings and my normal jeans are just so uncomfortable. Im not small before but just feel so squashed!

I've just managed 10 hours sleep. I am stillllllll tired!!
Still got a stinking cold too!
Another two weeks to wait for my booking appointment.
Dreamt I was having triplets last night (they are in the family, hopefully just not in my belly!)

I keep smelling EVERYTHING 😅😅 everywhere I smell stuff it’s driving me insane I feel like I have the nose of a bloodhound is anyone else the same?
I also went to a concert on Friday and spent the entire day yesterday in bed because I was fully exhausted 😅 when do the energy levels come back? 😅 I’m 8+5

@PrimarilyParented I love my crazy dreams now the nightmare phase is over. Dreamt we went to Scarborough, and they had 20p fall machines... (opposed to 2p falls)
Bf won loads and loads, and I only had poo bags to carry the change in,
And I was wearing mad high stilettos which made me walk slowly, we went to get on the tram (there isn't even a tram in scarb) I tried to pay and my card fell through the receipt machine and they wouldn't let me on 😂😂😂😂

@NSx I'm 11+3 and feel like I'm only getting more tired !!

@NSx it's weird. You smell- smells that you couldn't even think would exist.
I went to Bicester Village yesterday and every shop had its own smell and I could smell every blokes aftershave

Although the vans shop deffo smelled like BO

But also wanted to ask. I'm in my 9th week and my nausea has become very weird. Two days I felt practically normal and then again hurled on Thursday. Friday and Saturday I felt also fine. Even managed to keep my dinner down.
I'm just freaking out that my nausea seems to be passing fast and not sure if to be happy as all articles I read say this should be my peak! And if your symptoms go away suddenly then somethings wrong.

I have changed my private scan from 29th March to next week Tuesday as I am driving myself crazy. But I wondered if anyone else had the same? I'm 8w + 6d today
