I am the exact same! I’ve also been waking up around 3am every night to go the toilet as well. It’s frustrating as I’m super tired throughout the day ☹️.

Ss32 · 18/02/2023 07:09

I had an emergency section with my last. I think I’m going to try natural this time although I really do think I’m just not big enough to give birth naturally. My midwife told me last time ‘your body will never grow a baby you can’t deliver’, I went back to her after my section and said ‘I told you she was too big!’ 😂

In regards to exercise, I usually do 3 classes a week, just a mix of circuit, a bit of boxercise, some light weight stuff. I’m trying to keep up with it but keep falling asleep by 7pm! I’m hoping once the tired stage wears off I’ll be back into routine a bit better and I’m doing a double this morning. Last baby was a lockdown pregnancy so I was like a potato the whole time and I also don’t think that helped for the birth, I want to be more active this time (which will be easy with a 2 year old!)

NSx · 18/02/2023 07:12

@New2thisss same as me, I goto the toilet before bed thinking right I’ll sleep through, wake up at 2am, then 5am wide awake and needing the toilet 🥹🥹🥹🥹 and then shattered all day 😄 doesn’t help I’m loaded with the cold so I wake up feeling awful 🤒

Morning all

I tried a digital test this morning & got 2-3 weeks so that feels good. Going to stop testing now, other than maybe the other digi before I refer to maternity care at 6 weeks. I've been very distracted at work this week, forgot how long it feels before you speak to a midwife. Been having cramping & pulling & feeling full & getting odd waves of mild nausea now too.

Sending best wishes to those who are having a tough time.

Exercise- I found last time I couldn't run at all, it felt so hard - I was actually wondering what was going on before I found I was pregnant as I was struggling just to go round the block. This time I've barely restarted running after surgery in the summer so not sure how that will go but I would like to keep going if I can. Otherwise I'll try swimming I think, but harder to fit it in. I did loads of walking last time so will definitely try to do that. I mostly wfh so it's very easy to barely move!

Hope you all have good weekends

MeganC104 · 18/02/2023 07:18

@elarcoiris @PrimarilyParented thank you for your responses. When I had my emergency c sec in 2021 they told me I was an excellent candidate for vbac in future. I really mourned that birth. I am scared about having a similar birth to that though.

Skyharbor · 18/02/2023 07:35

Tentatively joining if that's okay?

8 weeks today by dates so technically due end of September but baby was measuring a bit smaller on scan the other day so due date is likely early October. Saw a little heartbeat which was amazing!

I have a little girl who is nearly 20 months but had two miscarriages before her so very very nervous!

Itsokaymama · 18/02/2023 07:42

Good morning everyone
I have my private scan today! Im soo nervous, my nausea and sore boobs basically disappeared yesterday. I think im 7+3 so got everything crossed for some good news!

DSP21 · 18/02/2023 07:47

certified POAS addict here

I’m getting slightly concerned my lines aren’t progressing enough, anyone had lines at 11,12 & 13dpo that didn’t change much?

Due October 2023 -Thread 2
katherine123x · 18/02/2023 07:49

@Itsokaymama good luck. Please let us know how you get on!!!
@DSP21 honestly, they look like good lines to me!! Have you done a digital??

SlowlyGainingConfidence · 18/02/2023 07:57

@DSP21 if you just compare 11 & 13 there's really clear progression there I think, hcg doubles roughly every 2 days so you won't pick up huge differences daily, plus there can be lots of other factors like how concentrated the urine is, slight differences between the dye levels in the tests etc.

MeganC104 · 18/02/2023 08:07

@ss32 I really would like to try natural this time if it's a good option for me. I think I'll do things a lot differently this time as my last baby was lockdown too.

Hankthehonk · 18/02/2023 08:10

@DSP21 These look exactly like my 11-13 dpo lines!
I've started comparing every 2 days which is much more reassuring as it's every 48 hours hcg is supposed to double and I can clearly see the difference between the tests 2 days apart. Yours too!
I'm 16dpo today and just did a cheapie today which came up quickly pretty much the same as the control line. Did frer yesterday and will do again tomorrow and Tuesday...I'm really hoping for a dye stealer at some point but don't know if that always happens or when to expect it!
Got my 1-2 weeks digital at 12dpo so will do another of those next week hoping for 2-3

DSP21 · 18/02/2023 08:15

@katherine123x @SlowlyGainingConfidence @Hankthehonk

thank you! I know I’m being paranoid but I don’t do well with this lack of control! I’m sure it‘s totally fine, I did a digi at 10dpo and it came up with 1-2 weeks so waiting till 16dpo for the next one to hopefully get a 2-3!

NSx · 18/02/2023 08:31

@DSP21 im the same, worrying about lines, but I think I need to take a chill 😂
first was 10/11dpo
second 12/13 dpo
third 14/15 dpo
(unsure as not sure of ovulation)

and now worried there isn’t any progression in the last 2.
think I will stop testing for a few days now because it’s getting stressful.

NSx · 18/02/2023 08:32

@DSP21 but I want to add I think your 11/13 dpo show lots of progression !

IaminRome · 18/02/2023 09:14

Does anyone who's on their second baby not really have sore boobs? Last time I'm sure they were killing me, but this time nothing at all... Is it because it's not my first do you think?

Kate33ttc · 18/02/2023 09:25

Bertiebean · 16/02/2023 12:25

Cautiously joining - I’m so scared to jinx anything.

3 week plus 6 days - I think.

I’ve had losses/chemicals so not going to get too excited yet.

Due date is 27th October.

Havent told my husband yet and not sure I want to until I get past 6 weeks at least, does anyone else feel this way?

Hi. I'm 3 weeks 5 days. I feel the same as you about not wanting to tell my partner, at least six weeks but maybe 12 if I can keep it in. I've had few early losses too. Its hard to feel happy and excited with that history, and when I got my positive this time I just felt almost numb. The only person who knows is my mother and my doctor. Fingers crossed 🤞 everything will be fine for us x

Hankthehonk · 18/02/2023 09:29

@DSP21 I'm exactly the same, I've stopped giving myself a hard time for testing because it's giving me a tiny sense of control and relieving my anxiety somewhat. DH thinks I'm bonkers and I don't even think he realises how much I've spent on tests....

Hankthehonk · 18/02/2023 09:30

@NSx These are really strong lines, I don't think you need to worry! But totally sympathise with obsessing over the lines and progression. I'm hoping for dye stealers soon for all of us! Telling myself I'll stop testing when I get one...

Jigglemonster · 18/02/2023 09:34

Morning everyone and congratulations to all the recent BFPs.

Sending hugs to everyone who's had bad news, the ttc process can be so so tough.

I'm 6+5 today, had my scan on Thursday and thankfully all was fine. To the person that asked about internal/abdominal, they started with abdominal and could see a heartbeat but it was all a bit blurry so they did an internal. Having said that I'm on the chubbier side so maybe some people can have an abdominal only at this stage. @Itsokaymama hope your scan went well.

@MeganC104 I had a maternal request c section with my first and plan to do the same unless I go into labour spontaneously before my c section date and it isn't possible. I had a scan when I was ttc to check things and they also checked the incisions to make sure there wasn't much scar tissue which was reassuring.

I have my midwife appt on the 3rd March and am thinking of getting an NIPT test and scan around the 10/11 week mark. I had a Harmony test with my son who's now 2.5 but was wondering if anyone had experience of the others? There seem to be loads now and I can't quite figure out which might be best given they're all pretty much the same price.

And also, to those on their second/third pregnancy, did anyone have SPD last time? I had it from about 14 weeks and it was terrible, I needed crutches by the third trimester. I have no idea if there's a way to intervene earlier this time, I'm already dreading it!

Jigglemonster · 18/02/2023 09:35

Oh and @IaminRome I'm the same. It was really noticeable last time and now I think they're only slight sore because I keep squishing them to check

Needtobuildabridge · 18/02/2023 09:37

@Itsokaymama I've got my private scan today too! I'm somewhere between 6+6 and 7+3, so looking forward to getting a better idea of dates!

I literally can’t sleep past 5am ☹️ is anyone else the same 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

Same, I am struggling with sleep. I am also having nights sweats. I get hot then I am cold then hot again 🙄

OrionNebula · 18/02/2023 09:49

Got my early scan on Monday and starting to feel pretty nervous. Today is about distraction, bringing DD to her football then going for brunch & swimming with my friend and her little girl. I haven't done a test since the first two, to be honest I didn't really know line progression was a thing!
