@Jealousofchiliheeler pleased for you that it's not ectopic!!
Thank you for explaining that .. I've never heard of that before!

Good luck next week 💕

IaminRome · 22/02/2023 17:45

My area says to ring as soon as you know and then it's easier to get appointments you want at the right time..I waited until I was at least four weeks tho as also felt silly. But forgot they'd go off different dates, so was before I was 4 weeks after all! Last baby in a different area were really snooty and said not to even call until 6 weeks, but was also COVID so 🤷‍♀️

LWestYorks · 22/02/2023 17:45

Anyone suffering with dizziness? I’m 6+4 the nausea all day kicked in last week but the dizziness has started and doesn’t seem to go when I eat :-(

Ss32 · 22/02/2023 17:48

I had my booking in appointment today, felt like I was making the whole thing up 😂

Purrrrr · 22/02/2023 17:54

I called when I was 7 weeks exactly, I’ll be 8 weeks tomorrow and haven’t heard back yet. I have to register with my GP to be referred the midwives. The lady on reception asked for the date of my last period and I explained I had done IVF so slightly different and she said she’d just put down that I didn’t know. Not quite what I said but ok 🙄😂

AmyJames85 · 22/02/2023 18:09

What's BFP 🙈😅🤷

AmyJames85 · 22/02/2023 18:17

Ah ok thank you, will have a look xxx

AmyJames85 · 22/02/2023 18:23

@braxton thanks xx

Bee1994 · 22/02/2023 19:05

@LWestYorks yes! I’m 6+1 and have all day nausea and today at work there were 2 times where I felt really dizzy like all the blood was leaving my head. One of my friends said it’s completely normal

braxxen · 22/02/2023 19:43

Hi From Hospital!
I got admitted today as dehydrated as hardly been eating or drinking due to sickness. On my second bag of IV fluid atm!
Hope everyone else is doing okay.

@Jealousofchiliheeler glad it's not an ectopic! Sounds like quite a positive visit and nice you get to go back again next week to see progress!

@braxxen glad they're looking after you! Hope you're feeling a bit better!

MeganC104 · 22/02/2023 20:35

Hi guys, I filled in a form with my hospital and today got a text today from the midwife to give me a date for my booking in appointment.20th March. I think I'll be 9 weeks then. I've got a long wait 😂

Mines 17th March I'll be 10 weeks. It's so far away!

DancingNancies · 22/02/2023 20:50

@braxxen hope you feel better soon!
@Jealousofchiliheeler glad everything is in the right place, hopefully you'll see a nice bit of growth next week!

I've got my booking appt on 7th March, I'll be anywhere between 7-8 weeks pregnant depending on which due date calculation is correct! Self referred to the hospital last week but haven't heard anything back yet. Wanted to do it early as I wasn't 100% sure of dates last pregnancy (no AF between stopping the pill and a BFP!) and we were too late for a lot of the tests before 14 weeks as my EDD was waaay out (by their calculations not mine!) and want to avoid it again if possible this time!

fleur89 · 22/02/2023 20:55

@DancingNancies I'm having an early NHS scan on Friday because I'm unsure of dates due to falling pregnant before my first postnatal period. They offered this straight away and said it's because they don't want me to miss the window for important tests. I think I'm only around 7 weeks, but not really sure. They said if I'm right they would bring me back for another scan around 12 weeks as 7 weeks is too early to do the NT / anomalies checks.

Sorry that they delayed you so much last time, such a pain. Seems each NHS area does different things.

CB23CB · 22/02/2023 21:03

@MeganC104 I'm not until the 30th March. I literally can't cope!
They didn't offer me anything earlier after having such a recent mc either, but I'm presuming that's normal! Got a long few weeks ahead of me!
Not sure whether to go for an early scan and just guess weeks!

Also random but is anyone else pregnant and have breast implants?

VictoriaBlossom · 22/02/2023 21:10

@CB23CB preg with implants here!

But never had a baby before so whatever your questions are- I probs have them too

VictoriaBlossom · 22/02/2023 21:10

@braxxen sending good vibes!!! Get well soon x

CB23CB · 22/02/2023 21:23

@VictoriaBlossom I'm not really sure what my questions are right now!
I'm getting no pain or aches in them and wondering if I will 🤷🏻‍♀️

VictoriaBlossom · 22/02/2023 21:26

@CB23CB my nips tingle from time to time and when my OH hugs me it isn't very comfortable.
My mate had two kids after her boob job and her boobs look absolutely incredible now she's had kids. I just hope mine go the same way 😂😂😂

DancingNancies · 22/02/2023 21:38

@fleur89 that's really useful to know - ty! Last time it was at the start of covid so it was all a bit all over the place and they couldn't change anything.

I'm fairly certain I had a chemical last cycle, as I had very faint lines followed by AF about 5 days late, so might be worth mentioning at my booking appt I guess, in case it makes a difference!

Bee1994 · 23/02/2023 05:08

So ever since I’ve got my positive my breasts have been sore. I’ve also had appalling nausea for the last week. These have both disappeared overnight- when I went to bed last night I felt sick and my boobs were very sensitive and now nothing. I’m wondering if something’s wrong 😩

Saturnsmoon · 23/02/2023 05:38

@Bee1994 I think it’s quite common for symptoms to fluctuate- I had one day last week where I suddenly had 0 symptoms and felt 100% like my usual pre pregnant self. Also worried about it but I needn’t have as symptoms came back with a vengeance. Have since also had a reassurance scan (was already booked in) and all is/was fine. So long story short I’d try not to worry about it too much as your symptoms will likely return but if not and you are worried perhaps speak to your GP.
