@ukMummyof1 So glad you got a FRER, hope this is making you feel less anxious or even excited. Great line!

Definitely! Feels a lot more real now seeing a 'real' easily to see line😍 I'll call the EPAU today 🙂

Got back from what I thought was a 7 week scan & well, the bean is tiny!

The doctor predicted 6 weeks.

Saw a heartbeat incredibly too & all looks ok ♥️

I am overseas so did it at a private clinic.

@ukMummyof1 congrats! That's a lovely line!

@mariamari how lovely! Glad you got to see a heartbeat and that all is looking good 🥰

ukMummyof1 · 21/02/2023 08:25

@mariamari that's so exciting!! Did they give you a due date? Congratulations❤️

katherine123x · 21/02/2023 08:33

Booking my early scan now - would two days make much difference? I can only go Sunday or Tuesday !! 🤷🏼‍♀️

OrionNebula · 21/02/2023 09:05

Congrats @mariamari !

Koalawhala · 21/02/2023 09:19

Hi everyone,

I am due on the 26th October. It is a 3rd baby for me but being over 40 with history of early losses I’m not feeling super confident and haven’t told anyone yet.

I hope you’re all doing well. It’s nice to have a group to navigate these early days with!

mariamari · 21/02/2023 09:30

@ukMummyof1 Not precisely, I was told to wait until the next scan however if it were 6 weeks, I’d be due around 16 October.

@SnookyPook Yes it’s made the process more real for me! I am 38 & so was wishing to check it was ok so far. I had to adjust my expectations when the doc said ‘it’s tiny, you are not 7 weeks’.

@OrionNebula thank you so much! Congrats to you too :)

@katherine123x I couldn’t tell you, may be. I saw very little besides the yolk & a tiny nestled bean & would’ve loved to see more.

SnookyPook · 21/02/2023 09:30

@Koalawhala welcome and congrats! It's so difficult navigating the excitement and anxiety in these early days isn't it. Sorry you've had a difficult time. Will you be seen early due to your previous losses? Sending lots of healthy pregnancy vibes your way. X

Koalawhala · 21/02/2023 09:48

@SnookyPook thank you - yes definitely a mix of emotions!

I hope to be eligible for an early scan, they gave me one for DD2 around 9 weeks I think so hope to have this again. So reassuring to hear that heartbeat x

SnookyPook · 21/02/2023 09:56

@Koalawhala ah lovely - fingers crossed for you! 12wks always seems an eternity to have to wait doesn't it?!

blebbleb · 21/02/2023 10:02

Is anyone not experiencing any symptoms yet? I'm 5 plus 2 according to my calculations. I had a missed miscarriage in December so I'm quite paranoid :(

It's pretty common not to have symptoms. I had none at all on my first pregnancy. This time I have some low level nausea and getting very tired in the evenings, plus sore boobs. But I know exactly what you mean about lack of symptoms, it can be disconcerting.

blebbleb · 21/02/2023 10:09

@OrionNebula every pregnancy is different I guess. I had quite strong symptoms with my son and the pregnancy I miscarried so I'm super paranoid. When I get to 6 weeks I may go to my local early pregnancy unit for a scan.

SnookyPook · 21/02/2023 10:14

@blebbleb so sorry for your loss. Absolutely understandable you'd be feeling anxious but as @OrionNebula said, every pregnancy is different and it is fairly common to not have symptoms - especially really early on. It's horrible isn't it just having to be patient. From what you've said you had strong symptoms with the pregnancy you lost so you probably wouldn't be feeling any better if you did have lots of them now. What I mean by that is you might have to accept this was going to be an anxious time regardless of how you were experiencing things. Just be kind to yourself and chat to us whenever you need. I know I'm certainly feeling wary of fully trusting it all and I don't have a previous loss so I can only imagine how that gets amplified. We just have to try and rally each other along and trust the process. Sending you big hugs. ❤️

OrionNebula · 21/02/2023 10:15

@blebbleb that's why I had early scans on both, for reassurance. Feel so much better after yesterday! Best of luck Smile🤞

amybooth · 21/02/2023 10:16

My shoulder pain has gone this morning but I have had right sided cramping for 24 hours which is radiating pain into my hip, I've got a doctors appointment at 12- not sure what they will do but hopefully it can give some peace of mind

blebbleb · 21/02/2023 10:17

@SnookyPook thanks for your lovely reply. Yes I definitely would have anxiety either way. It's very early I know but the days are certainly dragging! Just want the next few weeks to hurry up now

blebbleb · 21/02/2023 10:18

@OrionNebula glad your scan went well!

Summer022 · 21/02/2023 10:18

@blebbleb i am similar, 5 plus 1 and have absolutely no symptoms. I do think it’s normal and can vary from person to person. It would be nice though to have some sign that something is happening x

SnookyPook · 21/02/2023 10:23

@amybooth good luck lovely - please let us know how you get on x

NSx · 21/02/2023 10:23

@amybooth good luck ☘️ hope everything is ok and you get a bit of reassurance.

iloveeggs · 21/02/2023 10:24

@amybooth Best of luck, will be thinking of you 💞

blebbleb · 21/02/2023 10:24

@Summer022 we are both early on I guess. I and such strong symptoms with my other 2 pregnancies but I don't remember when they started.
