@VictoriaBlossom Clear Blue digital 1-2 weeks means since conception, and therefore 3-4 weeks in gestational terms

Jealousofchiliheeler · 20/02/2023 19:47

Awesome line @Hankthehonk !

VictoriaBlossom · 20/02/2023 19:49

@Hankthehonk we must be pretty close to eachother. I hope my digi shows 2-3 next week.
Boobs are a bit tender today, boyfriend went to give me a hug and I was like wow that's uncomfortable!

NSx · 20/02/2023 20:08

@Hankthehonk amazing line 😻 .. I’m waiting to test a bit, I got 1-2 weeks on a digi last week, so trying to hold off with my last one to see 3+ … I’m around 16/17 dpo, so will try a frer wed/thurs & hoping for a line like yours 😊

NSx · 20/02/2023 20:09

@Bee1994 i hope you start to feel better soon 💕

@PeopleAreToads i got my BFP at 10/11dpo with a frer but it was a very clear line, not even a hint of a squinter, so could probably have tested earlier I think. Is it Amazon’s own brand or another one on Amazon like easy @ home ?

PeopleAreToads · 20/02/2023 20:21

@NSx easy@home

@Summer022 I seem to switch between constipation and the other way. Scan is at 6+5 due to DHs working pattern. Wanted to wait til 7 weeks, but I also ovulate on CD10 so a few days further on the LMP would show

amybooth · 20/02/2023 20:46

I have had a bit of shoulder pain on and off recently and tonight it's feeling quite intense, I'm concerned because I know that it's a sign/symptom of ectopic but don't have any other signs of ectopic so I'm feeling a bit unsure of whether it's worth contacting anyone

PeopleAreToads · 20/02/2023 20:58

@amybooth I'd say it's best to get it checked, better to be cautious with something which could be a sign of an ectopic

iloveeggs · 20/02/2023 21:03

@amybooth absolutely no harm to get it checked, better safe than sorry 100%

amybooth · 20/02/2023 21:04

@PeopleAreToads @iloveeggs thank you, I was thinking the same but then doubted myself as I'm worrying about being a nuisance.

Also not sure who to call. Do I ring my gp or find a number for my local midwives and ring them (booking in appointment isn't until March 3rd)

NSx · 20/02/2023 21:06

@amybooth I would contact your GP, who may advise you on how to present at the Early pregnancy assessment unit 🤍 I hope it’s nothing and you can put your mind at ease, like the girls said though, really best to check it out asap, better safe than sorry💕

iloveeggs · 20/02/2023 21:18

@amybooth I'm actually going in for a scan to rule out ectopic myself this week. I just had pains in my right side, I contacted my GP and they referred me to the EPU. Hoping it's nothing, but definitely best to get it checked if you have any symptoms. Best of luck, sending you positive vibes 💕

amybooth · 20/02/2023 21:31

@iloveeggs sending you positive vibes too, let us know how the scan goes xx

VictoriaBlossom · 20/02/2023 21:40

@amybooth @iloveeggs sending lots of good vibes to you both xx

DancingNancies · 20/02/2023 21:52

Just a quick note for all those worried about line progression - look up the Hook Effect. Once hCG levels in your body reach a certain level, the tests become overwhelmed as there's too much of the hormone, and they can give false negative results. You can dilute your urine a little and see if the line darkens if that's the case - hopefully might put some minds at ease!

I've intentionally not bought any more tests as I know I'll obsessively poas and spend a fortune but it's hard when I don't feel even a little bit pregnant at all rn!

Hankthehonk · 20/02/2023 22:05

@Jealousofchiliheeler @NSx thanks! I have probably put too much emphasis on getting a dye stealer in my own head but it feels so good to actually see that it's progressing.
@VictoriaBlossom yes we must be close! My due date is likely to be 24-28 Oct. Couldn't help myself doing the digi just now and got my 2-3 weeks ❤️
Sorry about the sore boobs that's been such an awful symptom for me, it was the same in my first pregnancy. I invested in a super supportive, comfy, ugly sports bra in tesco last night and it made a big difference having that on today.

SnookyPook · 21/02/2023 00:04

@amybooth @iloveeggs let us know how you get on. Hope all is ok.

@overgrowngrass yes I'm like this! Not able to concentrate on work at all!

braxxen · 21/02/2023 02:55

@iloveeggs @amybooth Sending you both positive vibes.

Pregnancy insomnia strikes again. This time it was Waking up and feeling hungry so munching on a few Ritz and then my body rejecting them and being sick at 2am. Still wide awake feeling queasy and I'm being formally observed tomorrow at work. Also vivid dreams, work related so feel like I've not rested at all yet :( Thinking of calling the GP in the morning to see about anti sickness medication

AlongcameLainey · 21/02/2023 03:16

@braxxen yes! I have seen every hour on the clock tonight! It’s going to be a long day at work tomorrow!

braxxen · 21/02/2023 03:22

@AlongcameLainey Hope you manage to get some rest!

Saturnsmoon · 21/02/2023 03:33

Sorry for those suffering with insomnia, I had it bad from week 4 to 6 buts it’s become less brutal in the past week or so. Still wake up at night (mainly to go to the loo) but seem to manage to fall asleep much better although I’ve noticed the nighttime nausea as well, which is a joy. Hope it gets better for you all soon.

so I’m only 7+3 but my underwear is already getting really uncomfortable and because this is my first I’m at a bit of a loss as to what to do…do I just by comfortable undies in a size bigger or should I already start buying specialised stuff? Obviously no idea how my bodyshape and size is going to change but would welcome feeling less restricted at this point. Any tips welcome!

buckingmad · 21/02/2023 05:05

@SnookyPook i think everywhere is different. Where I lived before you self referred on the hospital website but where I am now says via your gp. Neither said anything about when, just soon as you got a positive. I didn’t have a booking in appointment with my first till I was 10 weeks.

buckingmad · 21/02/2023 05:12

@Saturnsmoon with my first I didn’t buy any new underwear except for immediately after birth (black primark huge granny pants). Bra wise I found I got bigger straight away and then again near the end then got bloody enormous when my milk came in. I was pregnant during lock down so I got away with just wearing primark crop tops instead of proper bras.

Alexandra07 · 21/02/2023 06:43

@Saturnsmoon with my first I didn't buy any maternity pants, if needed buy a size bigger Primark black ones of needed. Your bra size will change again, no need to buy now nursing bras. I bought last time bra extenders from eBay and kept using my normal bras as long as I could. You will get wider under the boobs as the baby grows. I used the extenders even with the nursing bras after giving birth. When you buy new bras later you will probably want to look for some without the wires for extra comfort.

ukMummyof1 · 21/02/2023 06:45

Little update with the FRER I just done, still finding it ultra hard to believe after getting a VF line on a cheapy the last few days🫣
