Thinking of you @OrionNebula
I'm also 39 so can relate to the worries! I hope all goes well - I'm sure it will 🌻

katherine123x · 20/02/2023 10:34

@OrionNebula ahhh please share!! How many weeks are you?

Klex · 20/02/2023 10:37

My resting heart rate is plummeting like a stone so I have myself half convinced I'm going to miscarry.

With my son it went high and stayed high - low 70s.

@ukMummyof1 I think it's definitely possible with the cheaper strip tests. I didn't see as much line progression early on with those, only used them because initially I had a serious POAS addiction which is only starting to ease off now, FRER was much clearer but one of those a day would have bankrupted me!

ukMummyof1 · 20/02/2023 10:43

@Jealousofchiliheeler I'm the same haha! How many weeks are you now? I'll pick up some FRER today and test tomorrow morning and 48 hours after that and hopefully will see some sort of progression! My last pregnancy was ectopic and I had surgery to remove both the pregnancy and right tube and remember the line didn't go up very quickly with that one either so I'm a nervous wreck!🫣

Jealousofchiliheeler · 20/02/2023 10:53

@ukMummyof1 I'm 4+6 today. That's awful with your ectopic, understandable that you'd be nervous. Are you booked for an early scan?

ukMummyof1 · 20/02/2023 10:57

I haven't called up yet, going to wait to see if my lines get a bit darker first I think🤞x

Jealousofchiliheeler · 20/02/2023 11:17

@ukMummyof1 if you had a similar experience with an ectopic then I think it would be worth calling them sooner rather than later so they can check blood levels of bHCG. There is definitely a line there!

Almasita · 20/02/2023 11:24

Hi everyone,

I've just signed up to mumsnet and found this thread :-) I'm due on the 16th of October, super nervous, pregnant through IVF so being closely monitored by the IVF clinic with HCG and FSH blood works and a scan coming up on Sunday, great to have a group to discuss this journey with!

LaVitesse2022 · 20/02/2023 11:48

Welcome @Almasita! I'm also due 16th Oct, first pregnancy 🙂 Will this be your first baby as well?

MeganC104 · 20/02/2023 11:54

@SnookyPook @buckingmad

Due date buddies!! Me too for 31st. I was testing since 8dpo though. I have zero patience. I had a light positive at 13dpo yesterday but still stronger than previous.

I have downloaded 2 pregnancy tracking apps but each say a different thing. One says I'm 4 weeks today and the other 3 weeks 6 days 🤷🏻‍♀️
Notified my doctors this morning of my positive test

Bertiebean · 20/02/2023 11:55

I’m out again - good luck ladies 😘

Almasita · 20/02/2023 12:07

Oh how lovely. Yes first baby, super excited!

buckingmad · 20/02/2023 12:15

@MeganC104 my due date changed a couple of times with my first once i had my first few scans.

Also notified my doctors today! We've moved across the country since my first so it all feels brand new again 😂

cruciverbalista · 20/02/2023 12:21

@Bertiebean so sorry to hear this Flowers

I've just got back from my first midwife appointment (and immediately had to puke when I got home). First half of first appointment, I should say! There's so much to cover but I feel positive. Due date is looking to be 11 Oct 😊

hipposinacircle · 20/02/2023 12:52

Finally got my hands on a CB digital which I did this morning and got 2-3 weeks. I'm 5 weeks today (by LMP, more like 4+3 based on ovulation). So this seems about right to me. Saving the next one until next Monday to hopefully get the 3+ 🤞🏻

Called the EPU this morning and am booked in for a scan on Thursday due to previous ectopic. I'm so nervous but just going to try and keep busy to not think about it. The lady on the phone congratulated me and I was so taken aback I didn't even know how to respond. I think I was just like 'oh...er, yeah ok' 🤣

IaminRome · 20/02/2023 13:05

I'm about to do a food shop - ideas for healthyish snacks for my insatiable appetite?

I've also been bulk cooking so there's something nutritional in the freezer if I get too sick feeling to cook!

Alexandra07 · 20/02/2023 13:15

@Bertiebean sorry to hear that, take care of yourself! x

NSx · 20/02/2023 13:15

How weeks should u be to get 3+ on a digital? Like over 5 weeks? X

IaminRome · 20/02/2023 13:19

@NSx I just got mine this morning at 4+6 (according to when I know I ovulated, not from LMP)

Malzzy · 20/02/2023 13:27

Has anyone got experience with really light brown spotting? I had a bit on Friday morning, then nothing til saturday night, then nothing again til this morning- I'm about 5wk5d -it's only when I wipe once, then seems to go, then come back a day and a half later, then go...?

NSx · 20/02/2023 13:35

@IaminRome so is that about 6 weeks then from LMP?

OrionNebula · 20/02/2023 13:35

So all went well thankfully Smile baby healthy, in right place and just one! So relieved. I use the app so can't easily add a photo unfortunately.

countrypunk · 20/02/2023 13:40

@OrionNebula Fantastic, I've been eagerly updating the thread to see if you'd posted! So pleased for you.
