We finished the last thread pretty quickly! Here's a new one 😊

Why are the first few weeks feeling like it's been 20 years?!

@iloveeggs I'm relaxed but also feeling nervous that this might not be a viable pregnancy. It's horrible. Fast forward 10 weeks for me please

@VictoriaBlossom I have a scan next week to rule out ectopic so time feels like it's crawling! Praying for a sticky bean for you too!

Thanks. I reckon I might have implanted earlier than I thought. I think most of my pregnancies I have managed to a decent line early.

Time definitely feels like it’s going sooo slowly 😆 I am 5 weeks tomorrow and just ticking each day off as it goes by. This is my first pregnancy so it’s all totally new to me. I don’t feel pregnant at all yet and sometimes question is there anything growing inside of me at all? I am sure that sounds super silly but does anyone know what I mean? 😆 The thought of waiting til my 8 week private scan to see if there is a little bean in there brings so much worry and anxiety. Someone tell me this is completely normal or am I just going a little bit crackers!! Xx

@LWestYorks yes! I wasn't expecting the bloating! I'm used to be a bit bloated just before and during my period but it then passes. I'm now a bit worried it'll be like this all pregnancy 😬

@Summer022 exactly the same!! First timer here too!!! It's so long isn't it. I've known for 2 weeks tomorrow, feels like two months!! I'm just taking it day by day at the moment!

I’m 7 weeks tomorrow! I’ve decided for now at least to not have an early scan and just go with the flow. I am nervous about ectopic/MMC although I currently have no reason to be! Anyone else? 🙈

@Chanteuse I'm the same! I get these obsessive periods when I'm absolutely convinced I've an ectopic and will read everything I can find on it. The other day I managed to convince myself I was carrying twins because my hcg levels were high early on. It's stupid! I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and trying to hold on until the 12 week scan too

I think it’s actually taken me two days to catch up on the threads 🙈

happy to be getting some symptoms here due to previous losses, but honestly I’m not sure how much longer I can cope with the bloating and constipation! It’s unreal!

6 weeks today, two weeks until early scan, which is approximately 16,000 pregnancy days from now 😵‍💫

My husbands drinking red wine, the smell is knocking me sickkkkk!!

Hi all. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow (I think. Dates to be confirmed when have scan)
And so far, apart from waves of extreme exhaustion I have no other symptoms. This is my 2nd pregnancy and touch wood hopefully this pregnancy is a dream like my last. DS nearly 3 now. I had no symptoms, sickness, aches or pains for the whole pregnancy last time. I did honestly go to my 12 week scan wondering if there was anything there. And luckily all was good. So I'm hoping all will be the same this time round xx

6+1 today and going in for an early scan to rule out ectopic. Feels very early for a scan but fingers and toes crossed 🌿

Same here! I've always hated red wine though!

@CB23CB I could murder a glass of red wine right now. I haven't gone off the idea of alcohol just yet. My mum said it will happen at some point.
Gonna test a first response again tomorrow to see if I'll get a stronger line.

I swear having a miscarriage just makes you hypersensitive.

She might, but that's her coping mechanism.
When my SIL told everyone she was pregnant it was about 3 weeks before I found out. And when she was coming over to see the in laws I found it tough with her cute bump and everyone talking about baby names. Albeit no one knew, only my boyfriend, mum and friend... but it gave me a good excuse to not be around SIL as she's an absolute drama queen.
One of those people who isn't very nice to her hubby (my Oh brother) she smoked and drank through both of her pregnancies, and she had no interest in her nutrition and when she couldn't produce enough nutritious milk for her babies she just chose to go to formula rather than upping her diet and cutting crap out.

Just had a scan, measuring at around 7 weeks which is 1 week off if going by my LMP but does align with my suspected ovulation date. Saw and heard the heartbeat which was magical and has done wonders for my anxiety although I know we’re not out of the woods yet. It was an external scan which I wasn’t expecting but was happy about. I’ve got another scan in two weeks time (i’m not in the UK but that’s standard here).

Nothing wrong with choosing formula IMO.
