@Jealousofchiliheeler @NSx thanks both - glad to know there are options out there :) !

Jealousofchiliheeler · 19/02/2023 13:48

Is anyone already feeling really really uncomfortable? It's partly because I'm stupidly bloated but all I want to wear is stretchy clothes, and even then they start constricting on my stomach, and almost everything feels either too itchy, or too tight. I'm already getting tugging sensations in my sides, and my back hurts. Sorry this is just turning into a massive rant, just sick of feeling this uncomfortable and I'm barely pregnant! I honestly think I'd prefer being further along so I could break out the maternity gear!

VictoriaBlossom · 19/02/2023 13:56

Well just spent the last 20 minutes catching up on the convo.

I feel a bit weird because I'm not really feeling any symptoms, hot at night and a bit of insomnia but I don't have any other pregnancy symptoms. Anyone else having that?
Bit of extra CM but I know last time around I had loads of symptoms.

Summer022 · 19/02/2023 13:59

@VictoriaBlossom Hi lovely, I was just about to write a similar thing when I saw your post. I am the same, I have a little bit of broken sleep but nothing else really. I had sore boobs last week but they have now stopped hurting. I am concerned by my loss of symptoms but have read before that some women just don’t experience symptoms at all or very few. Xx

VictoriaBlossom · 19/02/2023 14:07

@Summer022 I feel like my boobs are a bit heavy? But I can't work out if that's just cos I know they should feel achy and heavy 😂
OH is definitely keeping his feelings to himself as he was gutted when we had the loss

ukMummyof1 · 19/02/2023 14:14

Hi everyone, got my positive yesterday. Due 30th October Xxx

VictoriaBlossom · 19/02/2023 14:24

@ukMummyof1 wahooooooooo ❤️

EMcG3 · 19/02/2023 14:34

@Jealousofchiliheeler - yes, me too, unfortunately. I had my jeans unbuttoned today at not even 5 weeks. I was in maternity clothes by six weeks in my second pregnancy and am already eyeing maternity jeans. I was 18 weeks along in October of this year when I lost the last one and I think my muscular structure would like to advise me it is not prepared for this.

Hi all 🥰 I've only found out there was a continuation of the previous thread, i just thought it went quiet 🥴 I'm 7w 3 days (or may be 7w 6, waiting to confirm), second pregnancy, my daughter is 3 🥰 I have my reassurance scan booked for Wednesday, so excited but nervous!

I'm so hungry all the time! This pregnancy feels so much different already, with my first one I had no symptoms apart from butterflies in my stomach, not even bad cramping, never knew what morning sickness was... And this time round, I feel so sick and tired all the time. No throwing up luckily, but as soon as I feel a bit hungry, I have to have something straight away or I feel sick! And I can't stand coffee, which I normally really look forward to (especially latte from our coffee express, I absolutely hate it!)! And water is another one, it really feels horrible to drink it, always have to squeeze a bit of lemon in there to tolerate it 🤔 and last couple of nights I just can't sleep until 1-2...

Might be a boy. I felt sicker with my son than I did with my daughter.

HistoryFanatic · 19/02/2023 15:15

About 4+6 weeks. I had some pale pink spotting last night and today so decided to test. Massive dye stealers. 😳

@VictoriaBlossom @Summer022 I had absolutely no symptoms with either of my boys until massive cankles and constant heartburn in the last 3 months...so far nothing except a bit of tiredness this time either. Relishing in feeling normal before none of my shoes fit again - at least my boys were summer babies so I lived in primark flip-flops - hoping for a balmy start to autumn this year 😂

SillyOldBear3 · 19/02/2023 16:05

Hoping some of you ladies can give me some advice! Long post, sorry!

I'm 5+4 today, we have not told anyone yet and will tell parents in another week or so. I had a chemical in mid December, and on New Year's Day my best friend messaged me to tell me she was pregnant. We would have been due the same month. I was of course so happy for her but bawled my eyes out! (She did not know about our loss). She has since unfortunately had a miscarriage 😞 it was at this point I told her about my loss. Her miscarriage hit her hard and we were able to comfort each other.

I'm so nervous about telling her that I'm pregnant again. I can't keep it from her as we have social events planned soon and there is no way I can hide it. I don't know what to do or how to tell her. I know she will be upset. Any advice appreciated!

VictoriaBlossom · 19/02/2023 16:33

@DancingNancies
This I find comforting, maybe cos my previous pregnancy was twins as well, I had higher quantities of hcg at an early point.

Alexandra07 · 19/02/2023 16:40

@SillyOldBear3 I am sorry for your loss, it must have been so hard, such an emotional roller coaster for both you and your friend. Personally I would wait till 12 weeks before announcing anything, she probably knows you are trying to conceive so avoiding alcohol/having a healthier lifestyle won't be surprising. She must have had her loss recently so it will be hard for her hearing your news that early. Does she need to go through right now what you went through at New year's Eve? Could you give her a bit more time to grieve?

If you really want to tell her, maybe text her the news so she has the time to process it and cry if she wants without feeling any pressure. I was on the edge of crying every time a colleague was announcing a pregnancy after my miscarriage, and I wish they didn't tell me face to face! but that's just me and different people react differently. I am sure she will be happy for you and hopefully she will get pregnant soon!

Bertiebean · 19/02/2023 17:42

I think I’m having another chemical. Small spot of blood today and weaker pregnancy test when should be stronger even in evening I guess…

just waiting for it to be over now 😢

VictoriaBlossom · 19/02/2023 17:53

@SillyOldBear3
What a rough situation to be in, but your friend wont hold it against you that you've told her. I have been in a similar situation and we just hugged and cried together x

Pregnancychatter · 19/02/2023 17:56

acaciabluebell · 19/02/2023 12:38

6+2 here and recently each day around midday-ish I get the worst nausea/unsettled stomach and heartburn. I keep burping constantly and the burps taste sour/like sick and make me gag. Ughhhh. Anyone else experiencing this? I thought it's way too early for heartburn.

I feel sick, keep burping and farting. I've got a lot of trapped wind and it's horrible. It's been going on for at least a week, on and off.

SillyOldBear3 · 19/02/2023 17:59

@Alexandra07 thanks so much for the advice. In an ideal world I would definitely not tell her until 12 weeks. Unfortunately we have another close friend's hen do in a few weeks and there is no way she'll see through any 'not drinking' excuses... it's 2 nights away, I'm feeling pretty shattered and there's an itinerary of cocktail making etc! 🙈 So I think I'll have to tell her beforehand or she will just guess and probably be more upset. Her loss was a month ago so also still very raw 😞

I will take your advice of telling her via message, you're right that this will at least give her some time to process it without me being there. She does know we're trying, I told her that we were back to casually 'seeing what happens', but I didn't expect to fall so quickly ❤️

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage too, they are horrible things to go through. Congrats on your new pregnancy, how far along are you? xxx

SillyOldBear3 · 19/02/2023 18:07

@VictoriaBlossom thank you, it's been such a rollercoaster 🥺 I feel like she will likely withdraw and pull out of social things we have planned, which will be horrible. I think I will have to tell her via message, in a couple of weeks' time xx

SillyOldBear3 · 19/02/2023 18:09

@Bertiebean oh no, I'm sorry ☹️ could it just be spotting and your pee just more diluted? Try taking a morning test xx keeping everything crossed for you ❤️

SillyOldBear3 · 19/02/2023 18:23

@HistoryFanatic Congrats!! those are some strong lines! 😍

LWestYorks · 19/02/2023 19:01

Anyone feel just really sluggish and ‘ergh’ I can’t explain 🤣 maybe I just need a moan? I were 6 weeks Friday just gone but I just feel so bloated and nausea alllllll day! X

VictoriaBlossom · 19/02/2023 19:25

@LWestYorks my brains not right. But maybe it was like that pre pregnancy,
I feel delayed? Is that the right term 😂

VictoriaBlossom · 19/02/2023 19:27

@HistoryFanatic wowwwww look at those dye stealers! What every woman ttc dreams of when they first begin to poas

Alexandra07 · 19/02/2023 19:33

@SillyOldBear3 I am 4+4 or 4 weeks based on ovulation. Still too early to feel relaxed.
