Just wanted to add that my twin girls were born at 28+1 weeks in 2015. They’re 7 years old now and doing absolutely amazing! Your time at NICU will pass by quickly! I wish you a speedy recovery ♥️♥️

Hi all thanks xxx I won't go into detail as it was a traumatising event and I don't want to panic you all by what could have happened. I'm ok and my placenta accreta did not return but it did get stuck inside so they did surgery to gently pull it out bit by bit. I didn't have to have transfusion this time but they were prepared. I couldn't have csection as they said my belly hadn't grown to the size it would be safest option. However I was 10cm dilated for a long time and it only took me to throw up in a sick bowl and her whole self came out of me straight onto the bed unexpectedly. No pushing needed. DH was in shock it happened that way but she let out a small cry as soon as she landed so I knew she was ok.

She's doing well. She struggled with oxygen yesterday so they put her on it but I went to see her last night and they said she's not using the machine anymore so she's managing on her own it seems. She didn't need a blood transfusion which they thought she might as she lost a bit of blood whilst they put a feeding tube in her belly button. She's so small and lovely. They want me to express for her as it's only thing she can take and I'm trying which I've not done before. They are really good with her and she has her own nurse 24/7 at the moment as she's in the most intensive part of the baby ward. She was 3.1lb and they said I might get a hold of her today x Can't take many pictures at the moment as she's in her little incubator and being kept very warm. They gave me 2 little blanket squares. I am to keep one and her too and we swap so we know each others smells and she can smell me.

@BellaTheDarkOverlord What amazing news. And what a little beauty she is ! So pleased you are both doing well. Make sure you look after yourself and ask for emotional support while she is there if you need it. Hopefully you get a hold today. Have you named her yet? ❤️

Still picking a name. She's only known right now to them as baby "surname". It's really emotional seeing her in her little incubator and they've been lovely about it. I know she's in the best hands and in the best place. Just so hard seeing her little self like that.

Is my baby the only one made purely of 45° angles? I swear bubs manages to poke their elbow or heal into me at some point all day and night. Sometimes it genuinely hurts!

@DrinkingAllTheGin haha I often joke that she feels like a cube inside me rather than a squishy baby!

Hi all sorry I have been a bit absent lately I'm due 6th June. Been up and down lately have a pain in my left bum.lower back since yesterday and today while our walked i slipped and fell an my back in hospital now waiting to be checked over but baby is kicking now and again so hoping all is ok

@Babybaby66 I think mine is a 3D star shape, tge amount of pointy bits.
A colleague, who has never been pregnant, just suggested I would miss being pregnant when it was over.
I pointed out all the stuff I cant eat, or drink, the lack of sleep due to no comfortable position and everything else that restricts us and said, 'if there was a button I could press to fast forward to the end, I would' then bubs proper kicked me in the ribs! Serves me right I guess!
