How many weeks were you? Feel like all the birth stories I see online are c-sections and inductions. Curious what it's like for people who just go into labour at home one day (obv hoping this happens to me at some point before 40 weeks!)

40+1 with my first. Laboured at home for a bit then went to the midwife led unit. No section or induction here!
Hoping for a home birth this time round.

I was due to be induced on all bar the second but went into labour on the day of induction - mine obviously liked being inside me!

The midwife rang me at 9am on my due date saying I needed to go in for a sweep. It seemed so unnecessary. I had no health issues, I'd just sat down having scrubbed the kitchen floor (very unlike me) so I was fairly sure it wouldn't be long if I was left in peace. I said no thanks, she tried to bully me so I hung up on her. We didn't get on 🙄

Into labour 40+2 one evening at home. Laboured all night at home, went into hospital mid morning next day and born around lunchtime 🙂
