Hope everyone is okay and gets reassurance at their scans.

I'm just on my way to my 12 week scan now. Super nervous though due to lack of symptoms but felt similar with DD. Hopefully all okay, excited too that all may be well 🙏🏼

rach971 · 10/01/2023 09:31

@mumma2oneDD Good luck with your scan ☺️ I think lack of symptoms is adding to my worries too. I also had a low down 'bump', my tummy was certainly sticking out more than usual low down and that seems to have gone now so I'm like 😬 Still need to wee all the time though 😂

rach971 · 10/01/2023 10:21

All went well. Feeling relieved! Measuring a day behind but obviously that's normal for it to vary, sonographer said baby looked perfect ♥️

Amazing news, @rach971! Thrilled for you, congratulations 🥰 You’re making me want to book in for a private one today!

babybrainfart · 10/01/2023 10:56

Hey, Had my scan today and everything is looking good. Baby is measuring ahead still, but not as far ahead as they first put me. I'm 13 weeks tomorrow and still feeling sickie and tired and struggling to find any motivation. I could do with being furloughed from work on the basis of being currently useless

babybrainfart · 10/01/2023 10:57

@mumma2oneDD fingers crossed for you

Anon2021x · 10/01/2023 12:54

@babybrainfart I feel the same, if I could just go to sleep on my desk right now I'd be more productive than what I am currently achieving. I feel EXHAUSTED.

I also having my NHS scan on Thursday. I'll be 11+4, I had a private on last Thursday and baby was doing well so I'm hoping all will be fine and we can start telling people. My parents already know, but will be nice to share with wider family etc.

@mumma2oneDD good luck with your scan and for anyone else scanning today or very soon!

Glad all was okay @rach971 this really is such an anxious time. I never thought I would feel nervous still going into 2nd trimester soon, but I am 😭 xx

mumma2oneDD · 10/01/2023 13:02

All okay with my scan thankfully! Thanks to those who wished me luck 😊
Measuring 11+6 and baby seems to be doing well. So relieved xxx

babybrainfart · 10/01/2023 13:24

@Anon2021x the only they I achieve at work is appearing busy when I'm not and eating at my desk. Good luck for tomorrow.

babybrainfart · 10/01/2023 13:25

@mumma2oneDD lovely news.

@squirrelnutkins1 Thank you for checking in ♥️ Feeling worried. Been no more since, apart from one little bit that was barely noticeable. My booking scan is Wednesday but I've booked a private scan for tomorrow. I'll drive myself mad otherwise. Found out at a private scan last time (about my mmc) and it's so much better finding out that way than at hosp and coming out and seeing a load of happy pregnant women. Just got my fingers crossed that all is okay :( I am on progesterone and I believe that can irritate and cause bleeding but I'm almost at the end of my dose so I would have thought it would have caused issues before now if it was going to.

I don't blame you for booking one for today, I'd be the same. Thinking of you x

squirrelnutkins1 · 10/01/2023 14:03

13-26 is 2nd trimester according to nhs website.

13 -27 even!

SkyBlue20 · 10/01/2023 15:36

Ended up going for a private scan today as was just so anxious after the brown blood this morning and all is perfect! What a relief 😅 Measuring 11+5 (11+6 by LMP). Got my 12 week scan tomorrow morning, too ☺️

@SkyBlue20 Amazing news! Glad you got some reassurance ☺️☺️

PecanNut00 · 10/01/2023 17:42

Hello! I am at 13 weeks and 5 days today. Starting to get a bit more energy back and able to cook again and eat vegetables, not just beige stuff! That feels like progress. Mentally still feeling anxious and imagining the worst as I've had two miscarriages in the last year, one of which was a MMC at 11 weeks. I'm classed as a high risk pregnancy because of this and because I'm 38 yrs old. Our 12 week scan was good news, showed a heartbeat this time and I couldn't quite believe it. Going for the Harmony test this Friday which I'm hoping will be more good news. Costing us £500 though which feels mean when you consider they apparently get it as standard in Australia (we live in London and opted for a provider on Harley st which is why it's pricey). I just wish I could have a little window to be able to see baby all the time!!

Coffeeforlife · 10/01/2023 19:49

@PecanNut00 I know what you mean! I had a MMC I found out about at 11 weeks a couple of years ago and now am continually convinced something will go wrong. I thought I'd be better after 12 weeks but I'm constantly wondering so going for another scan tomorrow at 15+4.
I had the harmony test and it was £400 plus £50 for a scan so I don't think you're paying over the odds. I'm 40 and was worried about viability so was very much worth it for peace of mind on that at least!

Getinajollymood · 11/01/2023 07:12

Harmony is expensive but worth it for peace of mind.

I had my 12 week scan yesterday and they dated me three days ahead of where I thought I was, making me 13 weeks today, but the pictures weren’t very good and the whole thing turned stressful as my husband didn’t want to be there at all so I’m feeling quite low about it all. I have to go to work today and I’m really not feeling up to it either but worried about attendance and work will just pile up if I don’t go in anyway.

Hjudge56 · 11/01/2023 10:19

Hey all! I have my dating scan today so please keep me in your baby dust thoughts! And thank you to those who replied and helped ease my mind on my sudden lack of symptoms the past week! I will let you know how I get on today… fingers crossed everything is okay

Mummy2Girls22 · 11/01/2023 11:46

Hi ladies, well after what's felt like the longest wait especially after all the bleeding and constant need to do pregnancy tests I finally had my NHS scan! I think it's fair to say I was a nervous wreck but instantly met with relief when she turned the screen and I could see baby moving around, I was nearly 12 weeks but she was quick to say no this baby is not 12 weeks your 16+1 😱 I can't believe it! So thinking I was due the end of July changed to 28th June Because baby was so big we couldn't have some of the checks done as it's not so easy now, I would of expected to have more of a bump at this stage especially it been our 3rd baby which I'm sure will happen over night it will just appear now 😂 we didn't tell anyone so the fact we finally are and we're 16 weeks is crazy! It's all happening so fast now and to top it off I just felt my first kick 🥹 it's finally all feeling so real now ❤️ sending lots of happiness and baby dust to you all 🥰

MamaSJ15 · 11/01/2023 12:54

Hey all, sorry I've been a bit AWOL, the website decided it didn't want to work for a while! Tried to catch up with the thread!

Good luck @Hjudge56 look forward to hearing from you after your scan! I'm sure all will be perfect 😊

@Mummy2Girls22 that's amazing news!! I'd love to find out I was further along than I am 😂 Aww and the first kick, that's so lovely!

I'm 13 weeks today, definitely showing a bump 😂 eating fairly consistently! Oh and my boobs are still sore as hell, but other than that not much else to report. I've still go a pulled muscle bear my rib though which is painful and extremely frustrating, it's been 2 weeks now!

candycrush789 · 11/01/2023 13:27

Hi ladies hope you’re all ok. So nice to see some of these lovely scans 🥰🥰

I’m 13+2 and have my dating scan tomorrow and I am worrying, again. My boobs no longer hurt, they’re still hard but my nipples don’t look as dark and neither does my areolas sorry tmi. I’m bloody petrified I’m going to be told the heart has stopped again 😩 had anybody had their symptoms basically stopping from 12 weeks?

SkyBlue20 · 11/01/2023 13:44

Oh wow, @Mummy2Girls22!! what a surprise!! (But a nice one!)

Had my 12 week scan this morning, been pushed back to 11+5 but all looking good! They did find either a cyst or an empty second pregnancy sac next to the main sac so it could be that we’ve lost a twin but they can’t say for sure. I had a private scan at 8 weeks and nothing was seen and a private scan yesterday that also didn’t see anything so who knows! I wonder if it explains my week or two of spotting 🤷🏻‍♀️

rach971 · 11/01/2023 13:50

Good luck @Hjudge56, I've got mine today too. Try not to worry too much about the lack of symptoms. I'm 11+4/5 and all my symptoms (apart from needing to wee loads) went a couple of weeks ago ♥️
