It still feels very early but I’m taking a leap of faith and starting a thread here.

Just found out yesterday that I’m due at the very start of August.

Anybody else yet?

@ChloeN Not yet, no :( My husband is driving home from work soon so will miss their call if they do decide to ring. It will most likely have to be this expensive place in Guildford as Window to the Womb don't have any morning appointments tomorrow 🙄

I'm giving them until 6pm as that's when they close and if nothing by then will press the button on Guildford.

@TheBirdintheCave thats rubbish my epu was always really quick and helpful. I get they’re busy but it’s so hard to be in your position and not even getting a phone call! 🙁

@TheBirdintheCave so sorry to hear you're going through this, but as others have said, you can get these symptoms and for it to turn out okay. I have my fingers crossed for you! Bad form that your EPU are slow at getting back to you. Hopefully you will hear from them ASAP!

@TheBirdintheCave if it helps I had brown spotting with my son, was scanned and told it was old implantation blood!
Hopefully epu get back you asap!! Xx

@TheBirdintheCave I’ve had spotting/bleeding in all of my pregnancies, successful or otherwise, so it’s not necessarily an indication of anything concerning. Totally appreciate that’s not how it feels in the moment though. Sending lots of love your way xx

Thanks all :) Husband is nearly home with the toddler now so I will check to see if the EPU called back and, if not, book this private scan for 10.30.

Gosh that seems expensive for a scan @AnnieApple123 - I booked mine at WTTW Croydon for £50.

@LS888 Good to know it took the hospital a while to get in touch with you too - it's been 10 nows and not a peep (not that I'm counting 😅)

@BusyBushBaby @Jadeelx I saw an ad for the sneak peak test on Facebook and all the comments on it were so critical and saying they'd got it wrong. Sorry, that's probably not helpful, just thought I'd share! But I totally get wanting to know as much about this baby as possible, especially after your losses.

My work do is virtual so easy to pretend I'm drinking! 😁But I did cry off a social event this week as I'm feeling a bit poo. My lovely friends were all concerned and I wasn't quite sure how to say what was 'wrong'.

I've had a bit of nausea today. Not much, but a bit. Seems to go away when I eat, which feels a bit counter-intuitive.

I had bleeding with my son, bright red, on a couple of occasions. I had a SCH but everything turned out fine. Conversely bleeding was not the first warning sign of any of my losses (2x chemicals identified by stalling line progression, 2x mmc discovered by ultrasound). Also, I had worse nausea and vomiting etc with the 2 mmc than I did with my healthy pregnancy. Symptoms are so fickle!

@BusyBushBaby I was similar symptom wise! I had hyperemesis with my mmc but just bad nausea with my daughter!

Ok so as predicted due to my crappy luck, the EPU called whilst my husband was driving and was closed by the time he got to our son's childminders. The message basically just asked him to call them back. Phone calls are so stupid. They could have at least made a scan appointment for us and asked us to confirm or reject it tomorrow.

I've now shelled out £110 for a long drive to Guildford tomorrow. Scan is at 10.30.

Everything crossed for you tomorrow @TheBirdintheCave I read that something shocking like 75% of women have bleeding in their first trimester and go on to have a healthy pregnancy and birth. Why don’t they tell us this stuff?!

I feel like I’m having such a weird day. I forgot to eat breakfast, but then went out for lunch with my friend. I then got a hot chocolate from Starbucks on my way home, and then my husband was stressed with work so wanted a dominos. I just got a personal pizza which is small as I wasn’t feeling hungry but felt like I wanted something. I then felt super full and like I’d put on about 3 stone (which is generally how I’m feeling at the minute). I was going to make a peppermint tea but then the full feeling has gone and now I’m starting to feel nauseous and I just feel like I’m all over the place 🙃 and the more I think about it the worse I feel as I can’t figure out if I’m imagining it!

@PumpkinEverything I feel similar on the food front, I went out with a friend for food and I just felt sick the entire time I was in there. Even the drink was making me feel so ill but then I walked outside and felt better🤣 now I just feel like I’d feel better if I was just sick 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve had the nausea today! Although not actually going to be sick, just felt “off”. Wanted to eat but anything I looked at/thought off turned my stomach. Went food shopping and felt nauseous. I was the same last pregnancy - not sick often but so many food aversions. Couldn’t eat meat at all. Lost a lot of weight 🤣 put it back on after 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

I’ve been feeling so nauseous the last hour or so now and I’ve just been lying on the sofa 😬 my food aversions last time were basically vegetables and anything seasoned 🙈 just carbs and beige food!

I’m feeling so sick today too! Not nice when no one knows and you just want to tell everyone how sick you feel! 😂

Seems like everyone is sick but me 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ This is definitely going to end in tragedy.

I haven't really felt nauseous, but the fatigue has definitely hit today! Getting through work was a minefield and had to go to bed after for a while! Regarding food, although I'm not sick, I have lost my appetite and get full quickly! Don't know what I feel like in terms of what to have for lunch or dinner! I also have a very stuffy nose too that won't seem to budge!
